- My review on the best high end EDC handgun, the Staccato C2 DUO. The only things I love more than 2011's is gummy bears and Staccato 2011's! This pistol might be the perfect pistol for EDC, home defense and range days. Great capacity, solid trigger, good safety, and it shoots amazing for a smaller handgun.

I recently got the C2 limited. Went to my local store just to see one in person and they had the limited version. Wasn’t expecting that and had to buy it. Perfect spec in my opinion but any staccato in a blessing to own

I have both the C2 Duo and the P duo. If I could only have 1 I would go with the C2 as well. Very good guns C2 can be carried, P is a little too heavy for me to carry. P is bada__ on the range. Great vid

I'm not a "2011 fANbOy" but Staccato tells you not to use the slide release on an empty gun because it could damage certain parts because it doesn't have a round being chambered to use as a buffer to slow it down a little.
So I’ve heard
@Tiberious Gib I can't see a reason to drop the slide with no mag/rounds in so I don't do it anyway, but I do understand tolerances on weapons very, very well. Been working on weapon systems in the military for almost 8 years now and you truly do learn to respect those tolerances.

I’ve got the threaded barrel C2 & a CGS can in atf jail. I’ll be able to use the can on both C2 & H&K USP .45 Tac. Shot the C2 yesterday & with irons I almost blew out the center of the target. I’m so impressed with this pistol.

Good choice. Love my C2 DUO. Waiting for the new EOTECH Flex red dot to replace my RMR. The EOTECH will fit flush on the Staccato with no plate because of the Delta Point Pro footwork.

Nice choice
If you get a non optic model you can have the slide milled for the optic you choose and it will sit lower than having to use a plate. So that may save you that issue.
P can be had in an aluminum frame, so the weight can get a bit more friendly for carry as well. XL/XC are the only ones with the lighter trigger along with C2 and P limited editions which came with them as well. There’s also the 2019 P which was 4.15” and many people think it was the perfect blend.

I live in Atlanta. I’m searching diligently for this gun and so far no one Carry’s it. I shot a friend’s C2 at a recent class and fell in love.

I'm in Atlanta also. Had mine shipped to my local FFL.
Gunprime in Alabama can have the pistol to you within a day or two. The transfer cost $30 at my local shop.
Have you tried any other high end 1911's ? never shoot any of the staccato but i have shoot other high ends and they were great as well

I have a (bit of a strange) question for you. Which key are you using on your streamlight on your C2? I've tried a couple and the position just doesn't seem right in that it sits closer to the front of the gun than yours. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
Believe that was a standard TLR7a, it’s actually not mine. Just a loaner for the video
Hey I have a question I have a Staccato C2 DUO with the suppressor height sights and no optic yet. Every time POA POI is off it shoots low. Any ideas? I did get the Vulcan Machine werks mini stacc port done to it as well.
I would assume the higher sights make the POI lower
Curious if your opinion has changed at all over time. Thinking of snagging a C2 but also thinking about the new C coming out.

Nothing wrong with a Holosun on any gun. I run three of them, a 507c Vulcan on my C2, it’s awesome!

Thanks for the great review! Guy wanted to trade me a Staccato C2 (Holosun cut with 507) for my Canik Rival (new with Vortex Viper and TLR-1) and my Glock 19X (new with TLR-7). The value money wise add up, but is this a good trade?
Tough decision, I think it’s really personal preference. The staccato is much nicer but the Canik is ideal for competitions if you are into them

Just curious, what do you not like about the Olight and which model have you tried?
I bought a PL mini 2 Valkyrie and really like it. I choose it because it was rechargeable, bright, smaller package and super adjustable. The only con that I have run into is that not as many holsters are made for it, most are made for the Streamlights. I plan to get a stream light next but still love the Olight.
I’ve played with ten different olights, don’t care for any of them.

@@TiberiousGib Oh wow, I would feel the same way if I had an experience like that. The above mentioned light is the only weapon light of theirs I own but I do have 5 or 6 of their flashlights and have not had any issues with any of them. I didn’t realize they were made in China but looking at their machining I would never have thought it. I am definitely going to be looking at reviews on them closer before I look to buy any more of them. I have really enjoyed their magnetic chargers. When I got the weapon light I did notice that it came with a charger that has reversed polarity from their other chargers so you cannot use any of their other chargers on it. I don’t know if that would make it exploded but I wouldn’t want to try. They do have a bunch of different chargers which all look very similar with only minor differences. That is probably not the best business decision.

Just picked up a C2 love it!! I didn’t get it optics ready however. So I am getting it milled. You prefer the holosun over the rmr correct?
RMR is bomb proof but expensive, I’m cheap….so I have a dozen Holosun ha
Save your dollars until you can afford the RMR.
Keep in mind the people who make Halosun will arm the Chinese Army with them when they're attempting to kill Americans.

@@mi_cheap_guns2925 I have the C2 with RMR and have a FN509 with a Holosun 507c. I don’t notice any performance difference. The rmr might be better built and last longer but I have noticed no difference so far.

Ive seen many videos where some say c2 & others say c2 duo . I was just wondering, are they two different firearms?? I went into the website and couldn't find a staccato c2 duo, only the c2. If theres a difference can you tell me what it is ?? I want to buy a staccato but want to know what im getting

I hate cleaning guns, if it was my carry gun I would every 500-1k rounds

This doesn't make any sense at all the staccato c2 is built for edc and all the other guns are hellcat, sig p365, glock and taurus these guns going to do everything the staccato going to do protect the person who is carrying it
Difficult to figure out what you’re saying, a Glock, Sig, Taurus, etc will do the same as a Staccato? I think that’s what you mean? While that is true the Staccato does it nicer and with more style. A Honda Civic (Glock or Sig) will get you to work everyday but a Lexus or Lamborghini is nicer and drives better.
