I just noticed both original Aaron Burrs (Leslie Odom Jr and Giles Terrera) won over A. Hams (Lin Manuel Miranda and Jamael Westman) in their Best actor in a musical (Leslie for Tonys and Giles for Olivier). See Burr you were able to wait for it 😄

I recall Miranda saying that he considers Burr the better part and seriously considered playing it himself in the Broadway run.

This guy has worked for years and finally has his big night where all his hard work has paid off, and people are slating him? Why would you try and put a dampener on what would probably be one of the biggest nights of his life. If your passionate about theatre, respect the actors who go out and pour there heart out onstage 8 times a week. Spouting hate on the internet isn’t big or clever, it’s bullying.

Yeah to be fair this is more of a general comment, most of the comments were on the video of the hamilton olivier performance, just think that his friends and family will watch these videos and it's not nice to see people be so nasty about someone they love
Yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinions, I haven;t seen the show so can't give mine personally, just think there's no need to say it under a video where this guys just won the biggest award in theatre by his portrayal, and the fact that Lin saw him worthy to give the part to in the first place
Cathy K, he doesn't suit the role I can say that I can pour my soul into 8 shows a week, I've done it. And if you can't take bad press then you aren't set for the acting business. But let's bygones be bygones we are both entitled to our opinion

completely undeserved. Maybe it was the "luck" I've got on the day of the performance but he was completely underwhelming, his delivery was always very rushed and he conveyed very little emotion. Sorry but John Mccrea deserved this award way more.
