2nd position crown, if you have interacted with the 41mm references your quick set date position would be in the winding position of the screw down crown variation.
the 15202 (more so the 1st gen 15202) seems like more hand finishing went into its production. each edition of the royal oak gradually loses it's magic due to cost cutting and profit optimization.
Do you know what, I just don't get the Royal Oak. It's reputably uncomfortable to wear, and what are those ridiculous hexagonal screws seated in hexagonal slots all about?
Agreed. With each RO iteration, AP devotes less effort to hand-finishing. The last true high-quality RO is the 15202 first-generation which ceased production in 2011. It's been downhill for RO quality since.
Does anyone ever ask themselves why would they need so much microscopic detailing regardless if it's handmade or machine made when it's not visible to the naked eye and it's a hassle to even look at it through the lens! Moreover in a timepiece like this which is unattractive on the outside in essence and extremely overrated only because it was designed differently by someone with Italian last name to be only different from mainstream designs!
Quick set date wow thats amazing !!!
PVD dial (e.g. Ingenieur) can look like plastic in bright light, I wonder how this one does.
Wonderful watch with amazing doll in set colour.
love it! my dream watch
Lovely watch style👍👍 very beautiful design
Beautiful Watch
How does that quick set actually work? Was just playing with one and I can't get it to work...

Awesome
The tapisserie (sp?) on the 15202 is more refined, somehow. The little squares look smaller?
Beautiful watch, don’t get me wrong… but why is there no seconds hand? What’s even the point of it being automatic?
Wonderful
Nice chain
Wow dial

The movement is much nicer int he 15202! The 16202 however is more practical.

It's So Good MashALLAH❤
❤❤
🥰🥰
😎
Much prefer the 15202. AP is definitely going the wrong direction with movement finishing like this and the Hublot homages.
If you dont have access to Hublot at retail you may have to settle for an AP homage.

Breitling keeps winning it for me
I don’t get it.
2023 model but already has a clearly visible scratch on the bezel, ouch!
Good. That means the owner was wearing it, like he should.
Oh no. It was worn nitwit
Meant to be worn not locked in a safe.
The sooner you get the first scratch out of the way the sooner you can start really enjoying it
Its a steel sports watch. If you are worried about a scratch on it, you will probably never be in a position to own any AP.
So tired of integrated bracelets
Wait who did my comment🙄🫤😑
So tired of Stan's comments
take a nap then
Looks dry.
throw some lube on it
put some lube on it then
