Not a watch that I or my wallet are drawn to, but I thoroughly enjoyed this review and came away appreciating what’s special (and not so great) about it. 🙏

Haha I’m with ya. Probably wouldn’t buy this watch even if I could but it’s nice to experience/ look at. Thank you for watching!

Thank you for going into details about how the watch reflects light, those subtle nuances are why we appreciate the reviews so much!

Great review thank you. It's funny as I began to watch the video, it subtly crept-up on me that this Royal Oak design is beginning to look quite old-fashioned, dare I say a little tired. I'd never really had that feeling before and was thinking why. I know there are other watches in AP's Royal Oak line-up. I wonder if they could update it with some of the Renaud & Papi's designs... a tough choice, like redesigning a coke can! Thanks again, I like the honesty and directness of your observations.

Thank you! And I get ya. The design is getting common in a sense and the endless homages don’t help the original one keep its freshness. It’s one of those weird ones where I’m sure ap is a little scared to not change the icon too much, or if they do the go all out with a concept piece

I really enjoyed that Xavier. My approach was to watch it as though I’d never seen or heard of this before and so looking at it with “fresh eyes” I have to say I loved it more than I expected. That silvery dial was perfect for me, but to each their own eh? Your friend keeps his watches in immaculate condition! That looked like it just pranced it’s way out of the boutique 🤩

Haha right this one doesn’t have too many battle scars. Let’s you really take in that shine. I knew people would like the silver dial 😂 but that’s why my word isn’t gospel. Thanks for watching Michael!

Love the Royal Oak style. I prefer the Offshore as I like Sport watches for every day wear

Best video I’ve ever seen on this watch. What would be your preferred color currently?

Thank you! The all grey is my preferred right now, sleek and monotone. Can’t really go wrong.

Thank you for the review. I have a 6.75" wrist and still stuck between the 37mm and 39mm

My wrists are the same size and I've owned both a 39mm Jumbo and the current 37mm 15550. They're both stellar, but I'd argue that the 37mm is easier to live with every day. Despite being the OG, the Jumbo has broad shoulders and a less flexible bracelet, so can feel a little off at times.

@@nelmurTbank you. Just put a 39 on my wrist at a watch show and it felt great. 37 probably does as well

How’s the accuracy of the 3120 movement?

    • @theknightswatch

Didn’t test it to the second but it didn’t seem to drift much in my wear. Seemed pretty accurate

Mine is about 6 seconds fast per day. 10 seconds if sitting in a case.

If the crown is uncomfortable to Your hand then you are not wearing it correctly. Know people think that you can wear a watch anywhere, and you can, but it's not correct and looks stupid imo

It's kind of like: The case is great... the bracelet is great... the dial is great... but the indices and hands are ultra "meh"...

Perfectly sized the 15450? I desagree. The 39 mm 15300 yes. I have an average size wrist 18+cm, and the 15450 it was dufficult to close the clasp, instead of the 15300 which has had perfect fit.

    The spotty-face dial isn’t a good look.
