Chrono100-i have a friend who owns a blue dial 15450. The case itself is not that small (close to wrist presence of a daytona, but the dial might appear be too small for some folks.
14:40 - Geez the bracelet of the 37mm was fitted way to tight on you - no wonder you thought it was a bit small. In reality, it might have been the watch with the best contour for your wrist :-) Cheers
Thanks for the review Dylan! I’ve been quite interested in the 39mm for a few weeks but never noticed that it didn’t have a seconds hand lol! That’s too bad, i feel like the gliding movement of the second hand is really missing ! Thanks for the info 👍
My wrist is 16.3cm, I have a yellow gold 15450...it’s perfect in size for me, not overly extrovert nor too formal. Any larger would be out of place for my wrist.
I tried the three, and ended up acquiring the 15400. The 15300 is too small; and I did not like the 15202 with its lack of seconds hand and the petite tapisserie (I understand the movement is also quite fragile). The 15400 and its grande tapisserie really pops. A superb piece indeed.
Great! Watited for such a comparison for years now! I have the same wrist size as you do, so what size do you recommend if i want to use the watch as an everyday watch? Generally I like slimmer watches and I also prefer when a watch does not feel to heavy. I am also afraid of "banging" to watch to a wall or door in everyday use..
I believe the 15202 is the thinnest and lightest but I wouldn't have it as an everyday watch. Too precious and it's a collector's item essentially If you're looking to wear an AP for an everyday get the 15450st. You can find it for £15k second hand new and boxed 😈
The 37mm is my choice but I think the thickness of these has also gotten a little out of control. I keep looking at the old Jumbo and quartz pieces with some envy and nostalgia at how elegant they look now.
I dislike the fact the extra thin does not have a second hand, although I believe they did it for the traditional look, so it’s going to be between the 37mm and the 41mm
By eliminating the center seconds hand they were able to make the case extra thin as they were eliminating an extra level of hands on the stack of hands.
i hate that one of them doesn't have a seconds hand. the watch just looks dead at a glance, its lifeless. the seconds hand on the others are really nice amd give it a bit more life.
Dylan or Dillon, I get that you like AP Royal Oaks. There are so many other watches out there though. Do you think you could surprise us with another quality brand? Oh and not Rolex either 😉
I have a 7.5-inch wrist and I think the 37mm is perfect as it's all about the lug-to-lug measurement and the contour of the bracelet. The 37mm watch wears more like a 39mm watch because of these factors. Additionally, as we get older and our bodies shrink in size, do we really want to be wearing large watches that are ill-fitting?
He doesn’t know how to handle the merchandise. If he’s not stacking them on top of one another , he’s clinking them together. They’re going to look second hand by the time he’s finished. This is a bad boutique who mark up the MRP to whatever they like.
Yes, but can you get one? I hear that there is a multi-YEAR wait, but if you are a Rolex stainless steel sport watch fan, then you may be used to that.
The more I see this stupid Penguin watch the more I hate it. It looks like a piece of crap from the 80s what with the stupid nut and screw facia. How crap can you get. No class just dreadful elaborate styling based on a welders toolbox. It's too bad I can't under this horrendous design.
Just purchased the 37mm in blue. The perfect size for a Royal Oak, in my opinion.
My wrists are very very thin
The 37mm is perfect for me.
So happy with the watch and cant stop looking at it.
Robbie Gibbs how small are ur wrists
@@TheKareemo98 why do you care about that? Moron.
@@user-zm7de9fc9x for size comparison obviously. I'd also like to know.
I have the 37mm and I have a huge wrist and it fits super perfectly
Ive been thinking about purchasing th 37. I had the 41 but didn't like the fit and sold

I had the 41 MM for 2 days. Bought a 37 and now back to a 41 LOL
It's amazing to see the three pieces together. I saw a blue 37mm before and it would have been stunning if that was used for the comparison.
14:40 - Geez the bracelet of the 37mm was fitted way to tight on you - no wonder you thought it was a bit small.

37 mm looks ok on your wrist, infact I’d go as far as saying it looks better than the other 2 on you

The 37mm fits you perfectly, Dylan.
@Lee Jaxxon Sweet man. Now I can really see what that b1tch has been up to!

Given how hard it is to get a 39mm (7 year waiting list in Switzerland), the 37mm is a great option.
Lol 7 years? Smfh.

Great review Dylan! I have the same size wrist as you and the 15202. Amazing watch!
Would love to see a review of the new 38mm chrono 26315.
when measuring the AP should you consider the crown or just the case?
You said made of steel so prone to corrode? Not a daily watch cause I perspire easily. Any advice as well like wash after use or wipe something?
Hi guys ! What is the difference between the 15202 and 15300 ? Which one would you recommend ?
Have a great day
thaaaaaank youuuu dylan.....i have been so confused for weeks on size
May I ask what your wrist size is
For me, 37mm and 8.1mm thick, is the perfect size.
the 37 mm is not 8,1 mm I think it's more then 9mm

@2:24 I’m surprised a how uneven the dial is.
Nice all Audemars piguet watches
Can you make video for 15202ip
The 37mm is my choice but I think the thickness of these has also gotten a little out of control.

Great review, many thanks for doing this. Can you provide the diameter of the crystal of the 15202 and the 15450? They look very similar.
37m white dial looks nice... bit of silvery effect on it.
I get that the 39mm is the most original and classic of what it was. But I do think the 41mm and 37mm looks better.
Having that second hand move brings so much more life. If they just swap out “automatic” for “AP” then 41 or 37 is perfect Royal Oak for me.
I dislike the fact the extra thin does not have a second hand, although I believe they did it for the traditional look, so it’s going to be between the 37mm and the 41mm

From this triple the 15202. The best three hand r.o the 15300.
My wrist approx. 15.5cm, which one would be the best fit between the 37 and 39mm?
37mm without a doubt
I have 2014 pan 0299 for sale with the box etc if you're interested
why does the 39 mm not have a seconds arm?
I like a sec hand
Will my wrist be 17mm
Which size is right for me?
37
What's the price of 39MM
wanna buy my first AP royal oak, and also my first luxury watch. how much for mint condition/brand new ? help pls!
16k for the 37mm and 20k for the 41mm
Phillip Pugh is it possible to get them from retail store ? or there’s waiting list as well?
@@billy69919 there will be a wait for royal oak for a new one but still not as bad as a patek Philippe sports watch
I have a 17.8cm/7inch wrist, should I get the 39or41, any insights will be useful, thank you!
Both will go, as 39 mm fits like a regular 40-41 mm watch and 41 fits like a 43-44 mm watch..
Nice comparison.
37mm looks perfekt 😍
I only want one watch for all occasions and I want it to last me a life time , I am considering a AP jumbo what would you recommend ?
Lol AP are delicate watches, if you want something that will last you I recommend you rolex or omega watches
i hate that one of them doesn't have a seconds hand. the watch just looks dead at a glance, its lifeless. the seconds hand on the others are really nice amd give it a bit more life.

These are really nice. I have a few 42mm replicas. Near perfect.
Stop rubbing them together.

Vey Nice Video
Unlike through the phone screen 41mm is not that big and 37 is way too small
15202 the best.

The problem for me is it has no second hand
