It took me 5 months of experimentation, but I came to the same conclusion before I even watched this video: The best all-round tone from Amped 2 is the USA/6L6 setting, with a touch of the built-in overdrive to mimic a Fender valve amp with volume past noon.

I'm pretty picky about tone, and that thing actually sounds pretty good.
