Just curious. I left the USA 10 years ago, and since then, there is this massive uprise in the US with vocal fry (California girl talk or toad voice). From the twins here to Joe Rogan, it seems to be everywhere. It’s not appealing. Does anyone in the States know why it has taken on so pervasively?
