Congratulations on graduating! The training path to become a scribe completely depends on who hires you. You have two routes. The first is the fastest-a medical scribe staffing company. Many scribe companies hire fast, with no experience required, and will offer in-house training. The second is to be hired directly by a physician or hospital. This route typically pays 50-75% more than a scribe staffing company. The trade-off is they want a certification like the one my organization is in beta for developing. I am a self employed medical transcriptionist and I'm a little scared to venture out because I have no formal training as a scribe. Listening to a doctor through headphones, being able to rewind and re-listen is one thing; I imagine standing right next to the doctor while he dictates is a totally different world! Lol I'm interested in your beta testing as well!
