We have so many racist who will say they are believers but their actions say otherwise. You see many in pulpits, in politics, on police forces etc. I dont agree with all blm stand for but we have to look at all people not just a segment. All lives matter but all are not being profiled.

Very well said. ALL lives matter. ALL life matters. Being Born Again matters more than anything. Yep. Eternal life.

These questions sound like they're made by people who can't critical think or make their own conclusions based on information/resources available... you can't ask your pastor how to live every single miniscule aspect of your life. That aside, I agree with the response to this question. 👏

I fundamentally disagree with MOST of what this gentlemen said.

I agree with most of what you said. I think the problem is that many black Christians, such as myself, see white evangelicals as totally apathetic towards the plight of the black community overall. Also, past white evangelical support for Jim Crow and other racist policies do not help to bring healing.

I agree with some minor points the gentleman brought up in this video (i.e. regarding BLM’s mission to disrupt the institution of the nuclear family, being pro-Marxist, LBGTQIA+ affirming, etc.,). However, as a black man in America I am fully aware of the gross injustices that my ancestors have historically suffered and (currently continue to) suffer disproportionately at the hands of police, prosecutors, judges, juries, etc. which this person seems to casually minimize and sweep under the rug. What is so sad is that when you get right down to it, he doesn’t hesitate to mention reverse racism, looting and rioting which are code words and talking points that suggests that blacks are criminals and somehow racism from individual blacks directed towards whites is somehow equal to the brutality, murder, exploitation, mass incarceration, enslavement and (all the other historical injustices including rape, race massacres, indiscriminate killing, etc etc.) perpetuated by whites down through the years against blacks in this country. At the end of the day when you peel back the onion, this guy is nothing more than a xenophobic Christian nationalist “patriot” who is probably pro Trump.

As Christians, we have a responsibility to find balance between upholding our faith’s principles and actively seek justice the right way. Which in this case involves acknowledging the power dynamics (which he didn’t do), addressing the root cause, and supporting efforts that advocate for necessary changes to create a more equitable society.
