You can not please everyone but you are certainly satisfy your regular followers you love you show. Some folks just really like to find things to complain about
Impossible to please everyone and some people would complain if they won the lotto man!!! This is the most non bias and informative channel for Dirt racing period!!!
I will say usac east coast has been one of the best series on the east coast. I enjoy watching them and wish they got more streaming coverage like everything else with the usac banner.
Should do a mention of the 100k to win Modified show coming at the end of May! That's big bucks for mods and going to be a crazy show at MTS! UNOM has the details
Sprint car racing is better with Wayne Johnson in it. Great personality, great guy. He had an absolutely catastrophic lower leg injury several years ago up in the Pacific Northwest that would’ve ended most racing careers.
Maybe I'm reading to much between the lines with Overton and the Wells chassis, but it seems like they didnt like the way it was an open notebook for all the Longhorns
I don’t think they feel they are in the chassis business like Longhorn/Rocket. They also don’t want to compete with a “factory” car who gets the good stuff first. I don’t blame them. I saw a Mark Martin interview where he talked about his racing career. He told a story how as a young man he was known a set up guy for his chassis clients. He admitted he gave them most of the secrets since he still needed to win races 😂.
What is everyone's opinion of chassis manufactures not selling to just anyone who wants to buy from them? Team Zero, Nick Hoffman with Elite and now Wells. I have mixed feelings about this, I think it is really smart to not sell to buyers who you are going to have to spend countless hours on the phone holding there hand teaching them the ABC's of race cars, they limit there exposure to getting there chassis jigged that they spent countless hours doing R&D to develop and they have a small group of top teams share there notes with just the teams with there chassis. I also worry about this practice not being healthy to grow the sport. If the absurdly high cost isn't enough of a hurdle for many to overcome now they have to compete against the top teams that are running equipment they do not have access to who are working together ?
Eh… you can still walk in and buy a Longhorn, and as a customer, get all the information you need. I wouldnt worry about it too much. So far, those Chassis that you mentioned have won races, but not dominated like others who have their equipment available to whoever can afford it.
My first thought is what Longhorn is going do with a chassis shop selling a exclusive ' nothing Longhorn about it ' chassis that sells and fixes their brand? How much difference between them? Most chassis are extremely similar, how much change and what makes it exclusively Wells? Are they using parts discounted as a dealer to build a new chassis? Legal issues may cause some hard feelings here.
@@mjriemen The only one I mentioned that I believe is making a significant impact is Nick Hoffman with the Elite and on the Late model side I still see Longhorn and Rocket winning the majority of the races at this time but I can see how this could change. There was a Southern All Star race at Tazwell recently and the top 5 cars was NOT a Longhorn or Rocket
@@jeffhill3681 If Wells continues to be a asset to Longhorn it may not be a problem? but I can see how it could be a simalar reaction if someone's wife finds out about there husbands Girlfriend. I do not see how there could be any legal problems unless Wells signed a exclusive chassis sales agreement. Does anyone know if Wells is still selling as many Longhorns as they did 1 -2 years ago?
There's a few examples in the past of drivers for whom that was not a barrier (Mel Kenyon, Merle Bettenhausen) but yeah, I don't blame him for walking away either while he could. I figured based on the lack of info that he probably had some nerve damage from the wreck.
Hey Justin, maybe it’s time to do separate shows/updates for open wheel racing and non open wheel racing. This would give a little more time for some of those details that guys are asking for, and double your content and ad revenue.
@DIRTTRACKR social media is full of fact checking warriors, those people are not much different from a parrot who repeats other's thoughts. I Personally like people who use their brain and own memory rather than just reading off a website that anyone can read for themselves .. exact stats don't really matter and don't tell the whole story especially in racing
Guys are jealous of you , you tell the facts which most drivers can't handle. Keep doing what you are doing Justin. GO JUSTIN!

It great and most interesting to learn that a new Chassis, built by Wells, is now in compation, in the Dirt Oval World.

Not tell secrets, good luck with that one ! 😊😮😊😮
I think Marlar separates himself from the others to stay in the top 4.
Good job pronouncing Maquoketa correctly! 😂

Insane that point standings for these series is a daily topic. Jeeze its April, for heavens sake!!

I expect Daulton Wilson to get one of the new Wells Chassis.

yeah i hate to say it but i called johnsons retirement when it happen its just common sense if your hand dont work right your not going to risk racing
