I’m all for the tire graphics on screen. It’s not like these guys are making 5 pit stops per race to change tires. Once you roll out to staging you got what you got. Great show!
Personally as a racer I love the chassis talk. Also on the setup and shock build sheets, I think that'd be taking it well over the line on what is right and wrong on giving that info out. There's a reason the cars are covered with blankets/curtains in the pits. I'm all for hiding setup tricks. That stuff doesn't need to be and shouldn't be public knowledge.
@@mjriemen Like on what setups and shocks? I can promise other teams usually don't know what others shock sheets or setups the other team is running. They may have an idea, but not actual proof. A friend of mine has been running some experimental stuff and people have been trying to figure it out for awhile and can't. Even the local stuff, no one is going to know what you're running, unless you tell them.
I get the curtains but dlm is a SMALL world there's not many secrets left ....just my opinion but i think it's a safety blanket(lol) and cowardly if your sooooooo GOOD u should be able to beat me with the EXACT same setup that you have or else it's not u it's the setup....too much is out of the drivers hands nowadays...there's way too much bite and hike I miss when all 4 wheels stayed on the track the driver actually made the difference back then
I'm all for further fan interaction with the action on track, and the idea of making tire choice public is a great step forward. Someone else pointed it out but I can see Hoosier possibly doing different colored side wall lettering to differentiate tire compounds being used a la F1. Probably not this year but I can see it be a thing for 2025.

Tanner won, I think the richest race in Outlaw Karts. Started 6th. Paid the same as winning the Chili Bowl didn't it? There were enough Outlaw Karts there to run a J main on Saturday night. So a soup run possible.
Overton is chassing speed where he can. A lot of speed can be found in the flex of the cars. Team 0 cars, from what i have been told, have a lot of flex in them so it could be a case of them combining a longhorn with a Team 0 and testing it out to find more speed or just find something the overton is more comfortable in. This sport is always evolving, and unless your Austin Kirkpatrick it should be allowed
@Brandon-youtube it was more of a jab at the WoO and Lucas Oil Tech teams. Where the baned a car that was brand new still under development due to it beat the big guys in 1 race
Ummmm == Different bars in different locations = Difference! Different sized bars in same location = Different! WHEN in the process of build; bar sizes, location(s), or NOT .... yes, even the same bar but WHEN it's installed = Difference! Hmmm - even different materials "mixed" makes and WoW, pre-stress(ed), yep - you guessed it = Difference!!! R&D does so many things... and the possibilities are outrageous ... and then the time/personnel TO test ......... All factors!!! : ) Be Safe *edit Pssss --- and who is welding makes a ______!!!
What I have learned following this channel daily for a while now….Majority of folks who follow this channel are still Sprit car guys and most of those guys only follow Sprint cars…..so chassis talk goes right over their head bc it’s never talked about in Sprit cars where as in LM it’s chassis and motor builders just like ole boys Chevy v Ford debate. Also Overton knows what he is doing and I think it’s a great troll job on his part. He had his most successful season not point racing which he is going to do again this season.
Brandon Overton deal with chassis is funny because longhorn has a house car but maybe they are using Brandon to try some different things not going on the house car.

Like I said before, Longhorn doesn't acknowledge Overtons' wins. That tells you it's not a Longhorn. I think it's part Longhorn/zero with a twist.
F1 tires have different colored sidewalls to show different compounds.
Indy car is primary and alternate with different color letter colors.

any idea how many sprint cars will volusia get I know both KKR cars will be there
The last few years, DCN has seen in the mid 30's for sprint cars most years. I'd say that will be pretty close. Might dip into the low 40s possibly.

Wells motor sports is a Longhorn dealer. None of this makes sense. Why would Wells want Overton to run a different chassis then what they sell.
Wells hasn’t been happy with what they’re getting from longhorn for a while which is one of the things that has fueled this whole deal
