    This adds 1 to the number of dungeons with infinite key dupes, wonder if more can be found in the future.

    Okay with speedrunning glitches usually the question on everyones mine is wth is happening on my screen rn, but im so genuinely confused. Wild video

      So basically the textures haven’t loaded, or they are using a feature in the emulator to see the polygons and hit boxes.

      @@dwiese1998 we are going into the well from out of bounds while keeping the top loaded, when we hover into the bottom from out of bounds we prevent it from loading and setting the flag saying that we got that key

    So I guess this doesn’t make the max keys LOTAD obsolete, right? Since this is an infinite dupe, and Zfg banned those?
    Still an awesome find, of course!

      I personally could see an argument for doing this kind of thing once per chest it can be done with, since even though it is an "infinite key dupe" it's still a unique trick. That would probably require rewording that rule to something like "if duplicating a key leaves the key in a state where it can be duplicated again, it must only be duplicated once in this way" or something

    I’ve never played OoT before, but I’m pretty sure that’s not quite how the game’s supposed to work.

      The way I understand it, which might be wrong: there are 2 chests in this spot, one that’s part of the courtyard room and one that’s part of the tunnel room. They are tied to the same flag, so if you open one of them, the other one will be open too. The trick is to open the chest that is in the courtyard room at the same frame you load the tunnel, which unloads the chest you just opened, preventing it from setting the flag. I do this by hovering under the loading zone for the tunnel.
