In this video i upgrading the stock Squier Jaguar Bass pickups with the DiMarzio DP126 Pickups and making a recording test to hear the results before and after
The DiMarzio Model P is a hum-Canceling 2-piece pickup for big, punchy sound that'll cut through the band without sacrificing bottom-end power. Gutsy midrange provides growl when the bass is pushed hard. Combined with the bridge position DiMarzio Model J pickup, you can dial in any tone from a tight midrange punch to a warm bottom-end with bright, clear attack

I like the groovy music you used when you revealed the pickups in the box. :)

I adore my Jaguar SS! I thought it was good enough stock, but since I sold a P-Bass for $800 to get this $200 replacement, I had plenty to spend on upgrades. I changed the bridge, pots, strings, and pickups. I used DiMarzios, maybe the same ones. I wanted a completely different sound with much less brightness, so I installed flatwounds.
As it was, my upgrades were less than $150, so I ended up with a fabulous $350 bass that I now play exclusively.

Nice. I put this same set in a Squier VM PJ, they sound great.

Hi Brian, they are very sturdy especialy the pbass pickups are very strong, i adgust the height of the bridge at 2mm from the poles and 3-4mm the neck

@@StamatisStabos I have these in my PJ bass as well and the j pickup responds well to plucking/picking close to it. You'll get that quacky honky jazz bass tone. I was disappointed with mine until I realized this.

Nice, I have an identical bass and was thinking about doing this. Definitely an improvement though honestly I don't hate the stock pickups. Not real high output or anything, and obviously being a less expensive bass, they have their limits, but for what I'm using it for, I don't mind the sound at all. Would like to upgrade the saddles and nut as you did, though. And new tuning keys I think would be great, mine doesn't stay in tune super good.

Yes, If you like it and you want to keep it for a long time it's good to upgrade it you can find a lot of stuff in good prices, most of the expensive instruments have the brand logo that sales you can make it very good if you make a setup and change some parts
