    These STK chips were common failures in VCR power supplies as well as projection TV convergence circuits. One of many reasons for the failure was inadequate or dried up heat sink compound.

    these STK originals are getting hard to find.. i know they make fakes.. but why cant we just make a modern version of this and have it produced by PCB Way.. i mean it's just transistors and caps/resistors.. or am i missing something..

    Had an amazing Hitachi 1080i crt rear Pro in which these failed in,
    Unfortunately my mother wore out the tubes with 4:3 content, leaving bright pillars.

    my sony sl-hrf70 is on its 3rd stk5441 but now have issues with the loading mechanism its on my list to repair
