I've been testing this build every since you dropped this video & I think I've found that because there's no limit on the chaining back to yourself if you take additional chains beyond just 1 it significantly increases output. What's really neat is you can take that last night and get even faster clear speeds as it'll fork & chain without any extra cost. Since the DPS is coming from the spark charges exploding the chaining reduction is reduced. Also on the elmental nova tree I can see no reason to take +8% damage +8% area over just taking area as we want to maximize area to apply spark charges as plentiful as possible.
true the area node would be better, I think I have it taken as a relic when i had the area node already maxed out instead of putting a bunch of points into ignite chance. Interesting idea with the infinite chaning though. Mana cost might be tough though
@@booty_noodles Mana cost has absolutely been tough. I'm up to 24 regen and it's still not enough to hold the button down. The speed to kill has increased though significantly. I wish we had a way to measure real DPS. If they ever put together an API I'd love to code a tool that can take advantage of that data feed for proper calculations.
@@booty_noodles So the clear speed is MUCH improved with adding 2 points to the chain node and 1 point to the fork node. I can't sustain constant casting with 22 mana regen and a fairly gimped casting speed (just don't have the legendaries how I want them at the moment). Boss kill times are lower due to not being able to maintain with 22 mana regen. However, I've only got 24 points of frostclaw, and I'm dropping 2 nodes of efficiency so if I had 26 then I'd bet it would get boss kill times back to where they need to be. I can't test chaining to myself off of bosses since I can't sustain mana. Needs further testing. Clear speed though is god like compared to how it was (and it was Really good before as you well know!)
I tried this build mid-game, around level 60'ish and it did just fine with only the head piece. The rest of the gear, just spell damage, lightning damage, and intelligence. Though if you want to level 1-55, I suggest a different build with ice or fire damage. Lightning is weak by itself and it's not good for leveling. You'll find that out the hard way trying to fight Lagon.
Hei, a few suggestions that in my testing seem to improve the end result: These appear to significantly boost damage, particularly for Spark: 1. Move 1 point from Ceraunomancer (1/8) to Calculated Destruction (8/8) 2. Drop 7 points in Celestial Doom (0/10) 3. Add 2 points to Rift Bolt (5/5) 4. Add 5 points in Knowledge of Destruction (10/10) 5. Suggestion: Use Runic Invocation / Enigma for Traversal I see in one of your builds you use Teleport, but keep Runic Invocation on the other. Have you considered using Runic Invocation with the Enigma node just for Traversal? It's got shorter cooldown than Teleport, provides + Spell Damage buff, and... Enigma can traverse map in a way Teleport can't. If you see a spot of land on your map, you can teleport. For instance, in Temporal Sanctum you can teleport through the barriers, it's insane. Also, it boosts the Area of your Area spells (top-left nodes). You don't really care about the autocast invocation, but Runic Invocation is like... the most OP Traversal skill with Enigma. :) 6. Suggestion: Crest of Unity You get the sweet -15% damage reduction and Elemental Nova to 30, which is insane
honesty these are all great points and totally viable. i think the main sacrifice with using RI as traversal is that if would be on an enormous cooldown if you wanted to maintain the immutable order node.
You can play this exact build with two swaps until you have the mana regen and efficiency idols which is to drop dragorath's for a sceptre with T7 spell damage and -5 mana cost and drop lightning blast for anything you want (I did flame ward). You will likely also need to take 1 or 2 points out of the bottom left section of frostclaw to keep your mana spend in check which is a small hit you won't notice much in the early game while you work on your build. With a sceptre and the appropriate nodes keeping my mana cost around 15 I was ability to nearly infinitely spam frostclaw. Oh and always stand on your target for the return bounce of frost claw or it will likely not hit and you'll be doing near 50% damage and you won't get nova explosion overlaps on your target dropping your dps as well.
Great guide and awesome build. I definitely agree, I tried this at level 80 and it felt horrible to run with really low ST damage. Just switched to Spark Charge Lightning Blast to get the + to Frost Claw gear in the meantime.
Tried it, works like butter. But in my case I use the helmet that gives you Elemental Nova and the insanity of EN on the screen and damage are beautiful to use!
I am using a similar build without mana regen and extra frost claw levels by using foot of the mountain + switching weapons : - mapping with the ladle, no need to spam frost claw on the move, and lightning aegis + closed circuit are much less useful here because of mobs eating bounces or being too far - dragorath on bosses, can spam while stationary Mana is fine in both situations, and the build is much more accessible (I did my first version around lvl 90, with only +3 skills)
hi this works well by using mana strike that is specced ranged and cast frost claw and lightning on attack. this solves the mana issue as well as does screenwide explosions too
that can definitely work! i think the main downside is that you only have a 30% chance to proc frostclaw from a melee attack. On the other hand the amount of more damage you get on sparkcharges applied by melee attacks may make up for that
Just FYI, since Closed Circuit node from LB doesn't work when procced by Dragorath(This seems to be recent/as of yesterday), I found a clever way to get it to work regardless. If you turn your LB into cold damage, you can slot it instead of flash freeze. When you're bossing, you can directly cast LB once every few seconds, and then subsequent casts from dragorath procs will continue to apply Closed Circuit. It essentially becomes a huge bonus for single target. @bootyNoodles
Wdym I just tested on a dummy. Closed circuit still works for me..I see the crit and spell increase still going up as it is, no changes, and I am not casting lighning blast myself. Ofc it will work on bosses only - mostly since u cant chain to yourself this way, so with multiple mobs the chain from dragonrath doesnt come back to you most of the time. But upcolse on single target it is deff working.
Question - running the same build , however i am useing " Crest of Unity " Helm . Find that the 18% damage reduction on" chilled,shocked and ignited" a very nice defencive addition. Not to mention that all the other affixs i feel allow for more freedom for the over all point allocation.
I've been running this build for awhile, however, slightly modified because i dont quite have the gear. You can run this without needing 5/5 frostclaw mana efficiency (3/5 will be good enough). nor the -3 mana cost, but you must stack mana generation even more... Yes you lose out on some damage, but it works if you dont quite have the gear. You dont have to have T7 cast speed on the dagger...i only have t6, it still feels good to play.

@@booty_noodles I'm too lazy for that, but mana Regen is at 27 and I have a lower cast speed than you. Running 3/5 mana efficiency without the -3 mana node. With that regen and lower cast speed, it keeps the mana up....just don't have as much damage until I get the right rolls on the gear.
@@resresres1 You know lastepochtools has an "import" thingie, You just put your account & character name and boom all your equipped everything is there skills etc. You can just do that for yourself, to see more stats calculated than in the game ( though not counting everything as I saw). The lightning aegis is not supposed to work on lightning blast when you're not self casting it... Also on high corruption, the buff feels bad because it disappears after losing 25% of your health which is most of the time one hit and boom gone... Dragonrath is okay for single target with the spark charges blowing and stuff, but in the end ladle is gonna be way more QoL, allows to spec either in flame ward instead of LB, mana strike or even focus. Ladle scales with Int for cast speed and with enigma you're already scaling int, plus it gives you -3 mana cost on the spell.
I agree with most of what you say here. buff does disappear, but you can get it back pretty quickly so it definitely helps a lot with survivability. Ladle *can* scale higher, but the amount of investment needed to have it do more damage is pretty ridiculous. I think this dagger version is cooler too so there is that :)
@@booty_noodles yes, and the buff does work on triggering lightning blast, which makes it better than ladle unless ridiculously geared. I mean, ladke frees up a slot for something else other than LB like flame ward, but i dunno if it's actually worth it.
Can the added mana cost issue from lightning blast not be solved with the +throwing damage -mana cost affix on rings? Either a T7 ring for -5 or 2 T5 rings for -6
Nice build! Just out of curiosity, wouldnt u deal more damage if u stacked some more lightning dmg rather than some other multiplier? Im aware increased dmg is additive, but the less u have the more impactful it is to get more of it.
Tried to join discord, but expired. Thx for the cool build. Can you explain the importance of Volley of Glass on the frost claw tree? You didn't cover that in the video, and despite your *many* warnings I am trying to level as this build and balance mana costs with output, while also being short skill levels. I spec'd those nodes, and didn't see a noticable change in performance/output commensurate with the massive mana increase (compared to that 2nd pt in ele nova proc - which obviously doubles the # of novas). I'm also noticing I don't get much in the way of crit/dmg stacking from Closed Circuit unless I absolutely face tank stuff. Is that expected? 2nd question: why so many points towards the double-cast? With 4 points in Copied Scrolls (10% chance / stack) and 4 pts in Runic Energy (12 stacks) that's 120% chance to proc. Do you need those extra points there? At 3/4 or 4/3 you get a 90% chance. (7.5 * 12 or 10 * 9). At 3/3/1 you get (7.5 * 18 = ++100%). I'm assuming the dmg from burst is irrelevant?
What’s the best way to get dragon heart with +3/4 frost claw? +3 exalted frost claw is about 25m in the merchant guild and slamming it is a 25% chance on a reasonably price +1 twisted heart (do i really need to get 2lp twisted heart for the 50% chance to slam or stick with 1 lp dragon heart?)
good luck mostly lol. You can farm lightless arbor for increased chance of exalted relics today! then temporal sanctum has a similar buff is 5 or so days. you can check last epoch tools for the specifc time frames.
This build is amazing! Thanks for uploading it. One and only thing I dislike about this build is... Nova. It clutters the screen, which kinda ruins the experience for me. I wonder - how would you approach a non-Nova version?
Good point! It can definitelly be very cluttery with nova. If you dont want to use nova, you could just spec the points elsewhere into ward on hit and stuff. You also wouldn't need as many points in frostclaw which would make the build cheaper and could open up options like using a static shell for you chest piece and putting t7 int on your relic!

foot of the mountain definitely works but it just feels bad to stand still haha and it wont work well at all in echoes. red ring is a great option. especially if you can get 1LP and slam t7 int
There are no minimum requirements needed to make Frostclaw work. There are other ways to make mana/ward work for anyone. Sadly, seeing builds do 2000+ corruption is just bad for this game. I don't think the Devs really wanted people to "break" the game so easily so fast. There is no enjoyment except from the fact I can one button everything.
Mostly all true. Dev's have said that benchmark for a build "working" should be 300 corruption, and it should be EXTREMELY difficult for a build to make it to 1000. That said, might as well make hay while the sun shines!

Per your mana juggling video, frost claw needs to be at 24 mana to be mana neutral. but in this video you already have it at 21 and still recommending 20 mana regen. Is this really needed? Wouldn't the plus 3 from being at 21 mana forst claw enough to cover the cost of lighting blast? I got a omnis with frailty and i found a pair of red rings so I'm wondering if the mana regen on just the belt is enough
The issue is that sometimes you get unlucky with the mana regain from the gift of winter node. Additionally flame rush costs mana which you also have to account for. I find the 20 regen level is enough to safely not ever run out when fighting bosses

this is a bit stronger at an equal investment level as the other build. I just think this one is way cooler. I think with TRUE best in slot gear though, the other build can be stronger. That's generally not realistic for most people though.

potentially but it wouldn't be nearly as strong as you would be missing the nodes in the second half of runemaster tree that are really strong for defense and cooldown reduction. also you couldn't use runic invocation for defense.
Im using your build and something weird is happening to me, i can maintain frostclaw spam just fine with the mana regen/efficiency i got, it always goes back to full, but like when im in longs fights i can keep it up for like 30seconds to a whole minute, but suddenly is like the regen drops or something and i straight up cant keep up spamming let alone cast it, i gotta wait like 30+ seconds for my mana go back up, im wondering why O.o
What do You mean by long fights? On bosses or in echoes. Either way, I cannot maintain it also with my mana regen yet, I am switching back to spark mode only until I have better gear. What I noticed is that it depends on 2 things: distance from the fight - frostclaw needs to get back to give mana back, and the spark charges/nova cost. I think more dense mobs consumes burst of mana if you spam maybe spark charge consumes mana besides elemental nova idk ? On bosses I MUST use foot of the mountain boots so I can maintain my mana. I am at 17 mana regen only,
I think you guys might just be getting unlucky suddenly with the mana return from gift of winter. it happens. thats why i recommend mana regen a bit over 20.
@@booty_noodles Ye it may be also ,in my case, that on the controller, the frostclaw ai target is a bit wierd..so its not always targething the monsters..and with elemental nova u cant see shht so is worse..am I hitting something? or not? haha. By currency do you mean gold? Best way to farm gold is to join the merchant's guild and sell off your extra stuff and farm the gold nodes in monolith at as high of corruption that you can do. There's also a blessing in fall of the outcast timeline that gives extra gold
the gear for this is definitely expensive, but the higher corruption you can go, the easier it is to drop valuable things you can sell. I have some questions for you. I'm a Spellblade Spark Charge Lightning On-Hit spell cast build running this MH/OH and I've slowly been tweaking it. I will also be using my current items on a Runemaster soon. I recently added in the Nova helm with more nova slammed for +10 total. But it converts to tri-element and I am wondering if you know how this interacts/interferes with converting nova to lightning on the spec tree. Am I losing out on my 761% lightning spell dmg a 3rd of the time (obv it will still apply to spark charge)? Does it always cast all 3 elements? Is this usable within the scope of this Runemaster build for when I roll that mastery? I would love to figure out how to make use of this helm given all the amazingness to be had on it including reduced dmg taken.
I realize the dmg isnt coming from nova really but it is a fun part of the build to tinker with when you can add in that much +skill. I am also assuming that spark charge will apply no matter the element as long as we r specced in to it?
At this point I kinda wish I wasn't in so deep on melee attack speed for the on-hit spell procs. I don't think it can compare to the raw speed of this RM build when you're already relying on on-hit for frost claw and then on-hit/crit for everything underneath that. But at least Mana Strike will 100% apply spark charges every swing. Just not quite as flashy as manual cast claw.

Y'all understand that a build that can run 200 corruption is good right? Regardless, why is this a problem for you? Don't like ward? Don't build it. Go a different build or I dunno think for yourself and make one like this that's relying on other layers of defense. This is a PvE game. Instead of complaining about things other people enjoy, worry about playing things you enjoy.
not really. Most corruption build is literally zhp. What's your problem with ward? Ppl after warlock started just to hate ward builds for no reason. How this build having ward affecting your gameplay?
Plus, this build requires a lot of time invested to get the gear or at least a lot of time farming gold even if you're using merchant's guild to buy the gear. Call me crazy, but it seems reasonable that if you invest a lot of time into a game like this, you should be able to complete all content with ease. What's the point in getting the absolute best gear and making the most efficient passive and skill node choices if you still struggle with content? That's the appeal of an arpg. To make a character godly and most people never even get to that point because of how much time and effort that takes. I personally usually start a new build once I get to level 95ish doing 200-300 corruption.
everybody plays builds different ways and enjoys different stuff! I agree with a lot of what you say though. I played so much in the beta though and was messing around with builds in lower corruption that now I just excited that I can buy all this best in slot gear to try these builds that require it and can go even higher!

you can get more lower left nodes. Frostclaw is still near infinite at 22 mana. Only ran out of mana 2 or 3 times in 4 days.

tried it and the damage is nowhere close to this build. would better off to play as spellblade using mana strike-flame reave-surge spark charge build.

Wdym I just tested on a dummy. Closed circuit still works for me..I see the crit and spell increase still going up as it is, no changes, and I am not casting lighning blast myself. Ofc it will work on bosses only - mostly since u cant chain to yourself this way, so with multiple mobs the chain from dragonrath doesnt come back to you most of the time. But upcolse on single target it is deff working.
Would Crest of Unity be a good fit for the build? You can dump the extra skill points in Infernal Prism which penetrates enemy resistances

Question - running the same build , however i am useing " Crest of Unity " Helm . Find that the 18% damage reduction on" chilled,shocked and ignited" a very nice defencive addition. Not to mention that all the other affixs i feel allow for more freedom for the over all point allocation.
I've been running this build for awhile, however, slightly modified because i dont quite have the gear. You can run this without needing 5/5 frostclaw mana efficiency (3/5 will be good enough). nor the -3 mana cost, but you must stack mana generation even more... Yes you lose out on some damage, but it works if you dont quite have the gear. You dont have to have T7 cast speed on the dagger...i only have t6, it still feels good to play.

@@booty_noodles I'm too lazy for that, but mana Regen is at 27 and I have a lower cast speed than you. Running 3/5 mana efficiency without the -3 mana node. With that regen and lower cast speed, it keeps the mana up....just don't have as much damage until I get the right rolls on the gear.
@@resresres1 You know lastepochtools has an "import" thingie, You just put your account & character name and boom all your equipped everything is there skills etc. You can just do that for yourself, to see more stats calculated than in the game ( though not counting everything as I saw). The lightning aegis is not supposed to work on lightning blast when you're not self casting it... Also on high corruption, the buff feels bad because it disappears after losing 25% of your health which is most of the time one hit and boom gone...
Dragonrath is okay for single target with the spark charges blowing and stuff, but in the end ladle is gonna be way more QoL, allows to spec either in flame ward instead of LB, mana strike or even focus. Ladle scales with Int for cast speed and with enigma you're already scaling int, plus it gives you -3 mana cost on the spell.
I agree with most of what you say here. buff does disappear, but you can get it back pretty quickly so it definitely helps a lot with survivability. Ladle *can* scale higher, but the amount of investment needed to have it do more damage is pretty ridiculous. I think this dagger version is cooler too so there is that :)
@@booty_noodles yes, and the buff does work on triggering lightning blast, which makes it better than ladle unless ridiculously geared. I mean, ladke frees up a slot for something else other than LB like flame ward, but i dunno if it's actually worth it.

Can the added mana cost issue from lightning blast not be solved with the +throwing damage -mana cost affix on rings? Either a T7 ring for -5 or 2 T5 rings for -6

Nice build! Just out of curiosity, wouldnt u deal more damage if u stacked some more lightning dmg rather than some other multiplier? Im aware increased dmg is additive, but the less u have the more impactful it is to get more of it.

Tried to join discord, but expired. Thx for the cool build. Can you explain the importance of Volley of Glass on the frost claw tree? You didn't cover that in the video, and despite your *many* warnings I am trying to level as this build and balance mana costs with output, while also being short skill levels. I spec'd those nodes, and didn't see a noticable change in performance/output commensurate with the massive mana increase (compared to that 2nd pt in ele nova proc - which obviously doubles the # of novas). I'm also noticing I don't get much in the way of crit/dmg stacking from Closed Circuit unless I absolutely face tank stuff. Is that expected? 2nd question: why so many points towards the double-cast? With 4 points in Copied Scrolls (10% chance / stack) and 4 pts in Runic Energy (12 stacks) that's 120% chance to proc. Do you need those extra points there? At 3/4 or 4/3 you get a 90% chance. (7.5 * 12 or 10 * 9). At 3/3/1 you get (7.5 * 18 = ++100%). I'm assuming the dmg from burst is irrelevant?

What’s the best way to get dragon heart with +3/4 frost claw?
+3 exalted frost claw is about 25m in the merchant guild and slamming it is a 25% chance on a reasonably price +1 twisted heart (do i really need to get 2lp twisted heart for the 50% chance to slam or stick with 1 lp dragon heart?)
good luck mostly lol. You can farm lightless arbor for increased chance of exalted relics today! then temporal sanctum has a similar buff is 5 or so days. you can check last epoch tools for the specifc time frames.

@@_Gorthax Very possible. I've seen a fire variant that didn't use nova. Mana strike lightning blast is basically the same thing w/o nova.
Good point! It can definitelly be very cluttery with nova. If you dont want to use nova, you could just spec the points elsewhere into ward on hit and stuff. You also wouldn't need as many points in frostclaw which would make the build cheaper and could open up options like using a static shell for you chest piece and putting t7 int on your relic!

foot of the mountain definitely works but it just feels bad to stand still haha and it wont work well at all in echoes. red ring is a great option. especially if you can get 1LP and slam t7 int

There are no minimum requirements needed to make Frostclaw work. There are other ways to make mana/ward work for anyone. Sadly, seeing builds do 2000+ corruption is just bad for this game. I don't think the Devs really wanted people to "break" the game so easily so fast. There is no enjoyment except from the fact I can one button everything.
Mostly all true. Dev's have said that benchmark for a build "working" should be 300 corruption, and it should be EXTREMELY difficult for a build to make it to 1000. That said, might as well make hay while the sun shines!

Per your mana juggling video, frost claw needs to be at 24 mana to be mana neutral. but in this video you already have it at 21 and still recommending 20 mana regen. Is this really needed? Wouldn't the plus 3 from being at 21 mana forst claw enough to cover the cost of lighting blast? I got a omnis with frailty and i found a pair of red rings so I'm wondering if the mana regen on just the belt is enough
The issue is that sometimes you get unlucky with the mana regain from the gift of winter node. Additionally flame rush costs mana which you also have to account for. I find the 20 regen level is enough to safely not ever run out when fighting bosses

- 5 point bonus: the effect is doubled if you have an active gon rune - this does NOT work.

this is a bit stronger at an equal investment level as the other build. I just think this one is way cooler. I think with TRUE best in slot gear though, the other build can be stronger. That's generally not realistic for most people though.

You should change the boneclad for crest of unity, +6 elemental nova and aways tri elementaland increased area
i like the boneclamor more since it has the extra intelligence. We don't really need more nova area or levels.
I think he was making the point on it always being tri-elemental, which is a HUGE spark charge generator and an immediately noticed increase in effectiveness in my opinion. @@booty_noodles

potentially but it wouldn't be nearly as strong as you would be missing the nodes in the second half of runemaster tree that are really strong for defense and cooldown reduction. also you couldn't use runic invocation for defense.
Im using your build and something weird is happening to me, i can maintain frostclaw spam just fine with the mana regen/efficiency i got, it always goes back to full, but like when im in longs fights i can keep it up for like 30seconds to a whole minute, but suddenly is like the regen drops or something and i straight up cant keep up spamming let alone cast it, i gotta wait like 30+ seconds for my mana go back up, im wondering why O.o
What do You mean by long fights? On bosses or in echoes. Either way, I cannot maintain it also with my mana regen yet, I am switching back to spark mode only until I have better gear. What I noticed is that it depends on 2 things: distance from the fight - frostclaw needs to get back to give mana back, and the spark charges/nova cost. I think more dense mobs consumes burst of mana if you spam maybe spark charge consumes mana besides elemental nova idk ?
On bosses I MUST use foot of the mountain boots so I can maintain my mana. I am at 17 mana regen only,
I think you guys might just be getting unlucky suddenly with the mana return from gift of winter. it happens. thats why i recommend mana regen a bit over 20.
@@booty_noodles Ye it may be also ,in my case, that on the controller, the frostclaw ai target is a bit wierd..so its not always targething the monsters..and with elemental nova u cant see shht so is worse..am I hitting something? or not? haha. But that is only a controller issue since u can't pinpoint the frostclaw.

By currency do you mean gold? Best way to farm gold is to join the merchant's guild and sell off your extra stuff and farm the gold nodes in monolith at as high of corruption that you can do. There's also a blessing in fall of the outcast timeline that gives extra gold
the gear for this is definitely expensive, but the higher corruption you can go, the easier it is to drop valuable things you can sell. I have some questions for you. I'm a Spellblade Spark Charge Lightning On-Hit spell cast build running this MH/OH and I've slowly been tweaking it. I will also be using my current items on a Runemaster soon. I recently added in the Nova helm with more nova slammed for +10 total. But it converts to tri-element and I am wondering if you know how this interacts/interferes with converting nova to lightning on the spec tree. Am I losing out on my 761% lightning spell dmg a 3rd of the time (obv it will still apply to spark charge)? Does it always cast all 3 elements? Is this usable within the scope of this Runemaster build for when I roll that mastery? I would love to figure out how to make use of this helm given all the amazingness to be had on it including reduced dmg taken.
I realize the dmg isnt coming from nova really but it is a fun part of the build to tinker with when you can add in that much +skill. I am also assuming that spark charge will apply no matter the element as long as we r specced in to it?
Just look at the tag of the spell. If it has other elemental tags than lightning its going to be casting those other ones :D

At this point I kinda wish I wasn't in so deep on melee attack speed for the on-hit spell procs. I don't think it can compare to the raw speed of this RM build when you're already relying on on-hit for frost claw and then on-hit/crit for everything underneath that. But at least Mana Strike will 100% apply spark charges every swing. Just not quite as flashy as manual cast claw.

every "good" build in this game is getting absurd almounts of ward and facetank every mechanic its beyond dumb.
that’s because that’s what this game basically breaks down to, the defense eventually becomes more important than dmg.
Y'all understand that a build that can run 200 corruption is good right? Regardless, why is this a problem for you? Don't like ward? Don't build it. Go a different build or I dunno think for yourself and make one like this that's relying on other layers of defense. This is a PvE game. Instead of complaining about things other people enjoy, worry about playing things you enjoy.
not really. Most corruption build is literally zhp. What's your problem with ward? Ppl after warlock started just to hate ward builds for no reason. How this build having ward affecting your gameplay?
Plus, this build requires a lot of time invested to get the gear or at least a lot of time farming gold even if you're using merchant's guild to buy the gear. Call me crazy, but it seems reasonable that if you invest a lot of time into a game like this, you should be able to complete all content with ease. What's the point in getting the absolute best gear and making the most efficient passive and skill node choices if you still struggle with content? That's the appeal of an arpg. To make a character godly and most people never even get to that point because of how much time and effort that takes. I personally usually start a new build once I get to level 95ish doing 200-300 corruption.
everybody plays builds different ways and enjoys different stuff! I agree with a lot of what you say though. I played so much in the beta though and was messing around with builds in lower corruption that now I just excited that I can buy all this best in slot gear to try these builds that require it and can go even higher!
