- The eventual fate of famed professional gamer/streamer/and content creator HighDistortion has been somewhat of a mystery ever since he randomly disappeared in late 2020 / early 2021. He was once a legend in the Fortnite Battle Royale community, leaving many fans questioning his eventual fate.

Honestly I feel like hes just mad that people got as good as him, and he noticed people on his level can finally talk shit to him. Thats why he quit fortnite bc he hit his skill ceiling
HD n DK were My go to at the start of fortnite. Once the building and editing became so sweaty it kinda forced me to watch the new people sweating so I could learn. All the streamers had their own talents n trademarks n it sucks that HDs was solo squads. I couldn't imagine how hard that became to do with the skill in even bots getting better. His attitude was always top shelf even if he was raging. His rage hit different cuz you knew he could smash whoever was talking smack. I feel every streamer has their time to shine and eventually fall off the top but contain consistent viewers. Wish he would of held on a little longer and made a variety streamer. His apex gameplay is probably filthy

The new ones I watched I honestly didn't even enjoy watching such as clix or bugha I just watched them purely to learn and get better. I miss the HD dk cdn dauqan hamz days. I will say the only new guys I ever enjoyed was savage benjy n mongraal but they technically og streamers at this point.

The inevitable downfall of every streamer: Acting out while pretending that what is seen on screen is "the real you" gets tiring and old. The inauthenticity is enough to drive people mad. Since streaming itself is a fairly new entertainment medium, we're seeing people that are basically lab rats for the impact of this lifestyle.

When people say they want to move out into the wilderness and live alone typically (but not all the time) leads down a path of suicide.
If I was to end it, I’d prefer being by myself, isolated. So I don’t burden say police officers if they find me in an urban environment where there could be more possibility of death, meaning an investigation would be dragged out, leading to police being distracted on me instead of helping others who need it.
Just a thought. Hope he doesn’t go live out in a cabin by himself. I just don’t want to see a news article about him in the future as he was a huge reason why I started playing fortnite aswell as have a workout routine instead of none at all

I feel bad for HD, I’m not a therapist or psychologist or anything but dude didn’t seem like he had the best mental health back then. To me, he obviously seemed like he had some sort of mental health issues with the way he’s getting down on himself on twitter, which is obviously after “falling off”. But then even before, he would snap at random people for being toxic to him, almost like a built up anger or sadness. I hope he’s good and has people to still support him as a human being, rather then people who only supported him as a streamer

although its been 6 nearly 7 months after this was uploaded. seeing it on my recommeded brings back nostalgia as i used to watch HighDistortions Streams. behind all the Stream Sniping people did to him and other crap he was a relatively calm dude. Genuinely sad and i feel bad for the guy as the hate he recieved drove him to drop off the face of the earth.
The fact that ninja's title stated "100 eliminations" instead of kills really puts into perspective when he started going downhill for most of us

Please no.. Everybody has done a (multiple) video on the guy. There is no downfall, he has some type of f etish for weight gain and he still pulls massive views. The thing about predicating your channel to "being good" you will have to keep improving and showing good gameplay. Otherwise you will fall behind and someone may steals your spotlight. I guess that what to HD when tried to come back,.
What is worst some of your fans will look up to you and try to be on your level. Thus creating a race to the top. Now content creators have to beat their fans using their tips and set ups, and at some point some casuals will see a trend and will intuitively follow their actions and set ups if possible. And I saw it happen with my casual warzones friends.
With cheating software coming to play it will be no surprising if some people cheat just to close a gap or create one.

I remember seeing his videos just solo squading everyone. He wouldnt say much either and when he was playing with others he was quite but also funny. Seemed like a real relaxed dude for big guy that he is and i do remember seeing that rage video but when you get stream sniped constantly thats hard to ignore after several times and you are just trying have fun. Sad how Fortnite made a lot of streamers but also leaving out of it made their downfall.

It’s crazy just how accurate this story shows your usual ark for celebrity lives, or even just being successful in the first place: you’re tirelessly working towards a goal, getting closer and closer as you do, until you reach that climax where your life is just PERFECT. But after like a week, you realize you don’t have a goal anymore, you get bored with your current state, and it just goes downhill from there. That’s what happened here, at least that’s what I think
I hope he can return someday, even if it isn't a career, and even if he doesn't receive as much attention before, everything he achieved back then is still just as much of an achievement now. Why not add to the list further? Though I hope if he returns, he does it because he enjoys it, and he learns to not take comments made against him personally, it is difficult, but he'd pop off if he made smart jokes back and laughed about the situation on top of his insane gaming ability.

Stuff like this motivate me to never restrict myself to a single game, sure I'll probably play a game more often than others but still I rather be able to play any game I want, and people expect it, than play one game and then get bored of it, then play another, and it catches them off guard and risk losing them.

Having been an avid viewer of him for about 3 months a few years back it makes sense that he left. He'd been competitively gaming for over a decade & half. He isn't some young gun that is freshly into comp gaming. He had his experience ruined by "fans". I damn sure miss watching the Liquid guys & him playing together & fortnite all together but he's moved onto bigger & better things hopefully.

I think you missed a big aspect of it. Skill-based matchmaking was implemented, preventing him from pubstomping bots (what lower skill players were called at the time) which brought him to that viral fame.

Unfortunately for HighDistortion and many other Fortnite streamers, most of their fanbase were children. Today's generation of children only stick around until the culmination of streamers' careers and don't stick around for their personality or support future endeavors. I guess children now in days are spoiled with how large the audience of streamers has gotten, and I would dare to say the intention span is much shorter than it used to be in my generation. Back in the day, fewer streamers were around, and we were more inclined to support them after making a business decision to move on to another game. I understand they're children and still have much to learn, but it's sad to see how damaging kids are on the internet; they have yet to comprehend the power of words and their long-term effect on people. My generation was rude or immature. Now in days, kids are just straight-up cocks on the internet. That Alzheimer's tweet would've gotten you punched in the face back in the day if said in person, no cap.
Hope he gets better and doesen't give up on his dreams and what he want to do. I used to watch him a lot in the start of the fortnite hype. Hope he finds some other game that he really likes him self and enjoy.

I’m someone who is more than content with being small. If one day I do a stream and get big with in a year, big freaking whoop, but my hope is that anyone in that position doesn’t let it change them. Only time will tell I guess. Don’t let others get an emotional reaction from, it’s what their looking for. I was bullied a lot in middle school and high school. The only thing they want most is to provoke an emotionally charged reaction so that they can feel superior. I hope he’s do better.

The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a quick building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.
Strategy
His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand.
The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells.
A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more.
The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball.
However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter.
Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible.
It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value.
In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation.
Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage.
When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings.
Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building.
Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox.
If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique.
For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed.
For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa.
They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower.
The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push.
A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted
A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower.
This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower.
The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it.
A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower.
Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense.
The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is.
A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily.
A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough.

Summary
P.E.K.K.A is a troop unlocked in the standard Barracks when it is upgraded to level 10 which requires Town Hall level 8. She is a slow and expensive single-target melee Elixir Troop that occupies a big amount of housing space but comes with large amounts of hitpoints and damage.
P.E.K.K.As have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building. However, once they become aware of enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes, or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the P.E.K.K.As will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
Strategy
Offensive
Because this troop has very high attack damage along with high hitpoints, it is advisable to deploy them in pairs on each corner of the opponent's village or near a bunch of enemy defensive buildings. Most buildings won't survive two attacks from this very powerful unit (up to 1,224 damage per hit at level 9), meaning two P.E.K.K.As should destroy most buildings in a single hit from both units. By deploying in pairs, Mortars won't be as effective either, as they can only damage one pair at a time as opposed to an entire group of P.E.K.K.As deployed together. Nevertheless, if the opponent's village has maximum level Walls, it may be best to deploy larger groups of P.E.K.K.A.s. This way, they will be able to break through Walls with one hit each or use a Jump Spell or Earthquake Spell to support P.E.K.K.As.
Pairing them with a Rage Spell can make them deal extreme amounts of damage, allowing them to destroy almost all buildings in one hit; even the Town Hall can be taken down in three hits.
P.E.K.K.A's high damage and hitpoints allow it to easily knock out opposing heroes, especially when paired with Rage Spells, under which she is able to one-shot Grand Wardens, Archer Queens up to level 76, and Royal Champions up to level 10. However, if a defending Archer Queen or Royal Champion is attacking from behind a Wall, they can easily do a lot of damage to the P.E.K.K.As while they are stuck behind the Walls, especially if they are high-leveled.
Never train a complete P.E.K.K.A army, as they will be useless against flying Clan Castle troops such as Dragons or Electro Dragons, or even Balloons and Minions, as well as swarms like Skeleton Trap Skeletons. You can, however, back her up with troops that inflict significant splash damage such as the Wizard or use a Poison Spell.
P.E.K.K.A can set off and take most of the damage from traps. Deploy some Wall Breakers or the Wall Wrecker/Log Launcher to help it funnel through an enemy base.
The Golem and the P.E.K.K.A make a good combo as the former can absorb a significant amount of damage for the latter, allowing them to wreck havoc. Make sure to back them up with other troops, however, and keep an eye on defenses effective against them.
Defensive
P.E.K.K.A is not affected by Spring Traps, due to taking up more than 18 housing space. However, she will still trigger them.
This will protect any support behind the P.E.K.K.A.
She is a gamble as a Clan Castle troop due to her general weaknesses. However, against an unsuspecting attacker, who often assumes that whatever is inside has to be a Dragon or Electro Dragon, she can occasionally surprise the attacker by killing heroes in one shot that come too close to her as well as delaying their troops for a good amount of time owing to her tremendous hit points. She can be devastating against strategies involving many ground-based high-health troops such as Golems.
Because P.E.K.K.A has a slow attack speed, she is ineffective against large groups of low hitpoint troops. Large numbers (at least 15) of Barbarians, Archers, Wizards, and even Clan Castle Goblins can easily take her out. Alternatively, one can either use a Witch or a Minion. A Witch can summon Skeletons fast enough to prevent the P.E.K.K.A from reaching her and Minions, like all aerial troops, can't be targeted by the P.E.K.K.A.
Skeleton Traps set to Ground Mode can distract P.E.K.K.A for several seconds, buying time for defenses to attack her.
Single-target Inferno Towers can quickly defeat P.E.K.K.As. However, to stall long enough, place a Giant Bomb and a Wall at least 2 tiles away so supporting ranged troops will get destroyed before the Inferno gets attacked.
Upgrade Differences
P.E.K.K.A undergoes significant visual changes at all levels.
Initially, P.E.K.K.A is a metal robot-like troop with pink horns and spikes that carries a sword.
At level 2, the P.E.K.K.A grows in size. Tip of her sword also turns to an elixir-colored pink.
At level 3, P.E.K.K.A's armor and sword change from dark blue to a dark brown. Her horns, eyes, spikes, and the tip of her sword also turns darker.
At level 4, P.E.K.K.A obtains another sword, each sword is swung individually. Her horns are slightly pinker.
At level 5, P.E.K.K.A's armor color and sword change from dark brown to dark navy. Her swords glow pink, as do some of her spikes; the swords also appear to give off pink-colored smoke. Her eyes have a faint pink glow.
At level 6, P.E.K.K.A's swords become pinker, and the eyes, as well as the "nose", glows brighter.
At level 7, the tips of the P.E.K.K.A's horns and swords glow yellow-orange, along with her eyes and "nose". The sword handles change from pink to a darker maroon. The P.E.K.K.A's armor slightly changes color as well.
At level 8, the features of the P.E.K.K.A's glow bright pink. The P.E.K.K.A's armor also appears as a brighter shade of purple, compared to that of previous levels. Her sword and her horns also changed to bright blue.
At level 9, the P.E.K.K.A's armor appears as a darker shade of blue, compared to that of previous levels. The horns are changed to a dark blue color.
