Wow, what a fantastic market. I'd lose my mind trying to keep to a budget with all those fun as well as practical items. I think the healing ladies are fantastic from what I've seen about them before with Grandmother, mother and daughter so the knowledge gets passed down through the generations instead of being lost through modern medical usage! zippered coin purse in 'ethnic material '.....a few EC coins inside ; (I use them) ... bid baskets: w handle for farmers market, knitting projects...., any hand woven belts ? Where those socks for coffee? have stand to hold sock ? Sandy, round one is a tortilla basket. You bring just baked tortillas home in your basket. Thanks, loved going to market with you two.

What a fun market! So much cool stuff, but i especially was impressed with the furniture. It looks so well made.( Wish you would have asked the prices. I'm sure it's much cheaper than the stuff you get here in the US. ) I would be broke in just a couple of hours with all the goodies! LOL!
I have some friends that have bought furniture there. They had a huge table made...it is gorgeous and it was 60.00 I believe.
That's Amazing! A solid wood table here would certainly cost more than 10 X that amount!

Friend brought Rosewood - long... from Ecuador back t o MI. It cracked open thru middle.
Fun! Love the Cuenca markets! We had to purchase a cheap suitcase while there to bring all our trinkets home. 🤗
We've done that before. Buying an extra suitcase to bring goodies back. We love all the open markets here.

Been enjoying the last month here in Cuenca. Thanks for all the recommendations. Weʻre going to go and check out this market today (it was just recommended to us yesterday too, coincidentally) to grab some nicknacks for folks back in the US.

That's sweltering...too hot for me...isn't that unheard of in MI. We found our place in less than a week. I think we were in the right spot at the right time. Love the neighborhood and this place is filled with great walking areas. There are A LOT of single ladies here. I think you'll be fine.

About the song, You can't play copyrighted music on your RUclips videos otherwise RUclips will demonetize your video because you do not own the rights to those songs to play them on RUclips. So if there is a song like that playing in the background to long Our video will get demonetized even if we did not intentionally place that song on the video. That's why we can't use a lot of our audio when we're in restaurants and certain places like that that play a lot of mainstream music.
