My interpretations of the song. I see it as a commentary on the social media Era. We mostly live behind our smartphones and computers (Trapping us inside monitors 1:22) everything need to be shown perfectly "instagrammable" (Addiction to perfection stabbing me into my eyeball 0:50) Showing only what we want to show to other people (Controlling the timeline 1:35) We don't have a grasp of what is real and what is fake anymore (Is it really real or just online? 0:34) We live behind our usernames (ID:Aligator 1:00) Sometimes with multiple personalities (That explains the different Lexie Liu's at the end 4:04) and our alter egos (Mask on, go psychotic 0:29). We troll each other with toxic comments (Hence: guess you don't want to be at peace with me 1:06) Can we even be considered human when plugged online? (You macho man 1:37) At the end of the day, we shut our smartphones and computers down, only to reboot it the next morning and start all over again (Reboot the future 1:17)

@@janessasabugar6115 N+1 redundancy is a computing term. When it comes to storing data in a computer/server there is always a chance of a storage component failing and causing you to lose data. By dedicating a portion of storage for redundancy rather than capacity you ensure the survival of your data. in the song this concept is used as a metaphor for the earth and how in the event of human failure (extinction) the earth as a system/computer will continue to run.
Player ID Alligator could be a double meaning, the first being the phrase see you later alligator. Gator is also a term for adware or software that companies use to collect data on users and target ads to them, thus enabling people to participate in overconsumption and further creating waste for the planet. It is a trap. in reference to the previous line about how man upholds capitalism and traps us all to continue this cycle until we bring about our own end.
