  • Testing some of the Boba-straw Chassepot cartridges as seen on BlokeontheRange.
    They do work as advertised, leave less fouling than other types, and are easily 10x faster to make. I was not able to get exactly the same straws he used, but close enough.
    400gr .446 bullet over 70gr 1.5 Fg Swiss.

      @@OG_Okie_98_sooners 400gr for an 11mm bullet is about average. I have some 565gr (1.3 ounce) bullets I use for my Martini Henry- you feel those!

      @@olympicblackpowderrifles3155 These Boba straw rounds take away ALL of the issues. It's literally cut tube to length, put a cap on paper tape, tape to form bottom, fill with powder and bullet, and add lube.
