No it's fine as tetris attack. The reason why is cuhz the theme doesnt change the game play. It's still tetris and it is an attack with tetris combos not a yoshi attack. I see where you're coming from however only way I would change it is if they actually showed animations of yoshi and themselves attack like cinematics not just the little movements in the middle.
I heard of talks, especially since panel de pon got a re-release for the switch today, that the AI for this game isn't as good as the panel de pon version... I had to search for a video proving bowser is pretty tough compared to the final boss in panel de pon and this video shows exactly what I remembered.. crazy combo galore.

Played this first years ago, but once I bought Panel de Pon, I quit playing the copy of this I have. It actually has a second boss you face after the demon king/Bowser battle, the fight against the queen fairy testing you in the game. Tetris Attack doesn't have this boss, and the music she has is unused in Tetris Attack.

It feels as though another player took over the controller at the boss stages lol not the same speed and playstyle.... but that might be adrenaline. Just weird that it seems like he has easier times on the tougher fights than he did on easier fights XD

Maybe Im one of the only guys who though this game is easy as shit. Even on Very Hard. The AI is complete garbage and if you exploit the already noticable concept of them not doin jack shit when clearing a garbage block, you can run through every stage in less than a minute.
True, this game is not that hard; I regularly plow through Super Hard without losing. To me, the ultimate challenge for this series (at least in the international releases) is Intense difficulty Challenge mode on Pokemon Puzzle Challenge for the Game Boy Color. I like to call it "No Mercy" mode. In all other difficulties, the AI starts out really easy and gets gradually tougher as you progress. In Intense mode you have Falkner's Pidgey crushing you with x7 and larger garbage blocks right from the start.
If you play a stage for longer than 10 minutes, you wind up stuck on "9:59". The game will play, just, the clock stops. Is Bumpty the penguin and Raphel Raven the night thing male or female? Obviously, Bowsers a boy, because he's "KING"! If he was queen, however, he'd be female. Can you make a list of what characters are male and what characters are female?
omg i wish i had a keen eye and alot of smarts to play this game. i mean damn i'm smart but i'm not that smart xDDD. i always admired my older bros when they were only 8 and 7 years old playing this game and defeating all these hard levels. i dont see how you do all those combos and crap and get through super rough places where they have you trapped and you think so fast and move so fast. once they have me trapped i panic like a bitch and dont see shit. lol!

The computer cheats at some levels. That's why it looks like 2 players are moving the blocks. This also happens in Pokemon Puzzle league.
