- Talk's Alex Phillips clashes with Youth Demand’s Ella Ward over the group’s plans to protest across UK universities for a “two-way arms embargo” on Israel.
Student pro-Palestinian protests will spread across the UK, according to organisers, who do not expect to see any repeat of the violence witnessed at US campuses.
Commons Leader Penny Mordaunt, speaking in Parliament, warned that protesters should be met with “an extremely strict response” if they tried to replicate what she called the “disgusting” scenes happening in the US, where 1,000 students have been arrested.
Asked about antisemitism on British campuses, she said UK universities were aware of their responsibilities to all students, “in particular, those communities that are feeling particularly under attack”.
Alex: “It isn’t what you’re saying at all is it? It's a far cry from it!”

ICJ has not called it a Genocide, they actually rejected the claim.
Right and wrong, they haven't called it a genocide. They called it plausible and told Israel not to continue the actions they are doing as it looks like a genocide. It's not been rejected, it's still under investigation.
They indeed did not call it a Genocide, and didn't even call it a 'plausibale Genocide' ... as so many "experts" (and sadly also biased experts) like to say. Lately, the former president of the ICJ clarified this in an interview. Nevertheless, it is wrong to say that they rejected the claim, because the fact if the matter is that they didn't rule on whether the claim of a Genocide is plausible or not.
On the other hand, one can argue that if they would have thought it plausible, they would have issued provisions to stop the fighting immediately and not just provisions that are a rehashing of what the convention already states.

Unfortunately they have since continued to do actions that fall under the convention.
