I have Lyme Disease and it is 100% not fun. At its peak, it felt like I was super drunk, the world was spinning, and I could not regulate my temperature. So yes, be aware of ticks!! I also have other illnesses that have shortened names. Example: endometriosis is shortened to endo.
I am a bro that lives in big bear, we do have bears! There's one that gets into trash cans a few blocks up the street from me. During the summer, it will come into yards looking for dog water bowls
