For the coffee thing, the lady wasn’t driving but she did have the coffee in between her legs when the car was parked. It was later discovered that McDonalds had their restaurants heat their coffee to a really high degree that is dangerous and will cause third degree burns in 3 seconds. The old lady didn’t want to sue but the the hospital bills were amounting and she almost died and the doctors were surprised she survived. She sent a letter to McDonald’s asking for compensation and that’s when they only sent her 800 bucks that hardly covered the thousands of dollars of medical bills, so her family helped her sue. They also found out that hundreds of people had gotten third degree burns before her from spilled McDonald’s coffee, which helped her win her case because they realized it wasn’t a defamatory lawsuit or like a fake lawsuit just to get money.
I was crying laughing watching yall talk about the suitcases, this is why the bros are my favorite youtubers I feel like we have the exact same sense of humor lmao

Yes! So nice and wholesome that you guys took a moment to mention the old woman who was burned by the coffee wasn't a scammer. 10/10 respect!!! ( For anyone wondering she wasn't driving though - she was just sitting in her car in the parking lot trying to add cream to her coffee so she took the lid off and it spilled in her lap and burned off her entire genitals and surrounding area and she almost died - I think the burns covered over 30% of her body the photos are horrific and the media made a clown of the poor woman)
Yes the issue was that MacDonalds was serving coffee at a dangerously hot level. There had been multiple incidents before this woman that had become legal. MacDonalds made exceedingly hot coffee because it reduced the spoilage rate of the coffee so they could sell more coffee for less money. EVEN after multiple legal cases due to coffee injuries, it remained cheaper for Macas to settle the cases than to change the coffee temperature.

32:00 omg when I moved away for college my grandma was exactly like this. She would call me almost every day asking me if I was ok, if I wanted her to come and get me and seemed to think that I only went to college thousands of miles away bc my parents forced me to (they didn't) It was very frustrating to deal with but I think sometimes people just miss you and they don't know how to express it. Thankfully she stopped after a while.

That girl who sent in a question about her friend not being in the same league as her crush is really annoying. Im assuming shes in middle or high school bc i dont think this question would ever be asked outside of that context, bc usually only in school are some people hyper fixated on people being able to get together or not purely based on looks. She also just sounds like a bad friend- like she was trying to act compliementary by saying her friend is still fairly attractive but clearly she looks down on her for even thinking some hot guy might actually be interested in her, when a good friend would think like "yeah, obviouely hes interested in you, youre a catch"

Sure some people might stay at that level of maturity and a thought like that could be part of their internal dialogue still as an adult but most people would grow up and realize theyre projecting their own internalized self hatred and ideas of how transactional they think love is onto others and other peoples relationships..
When you have a catheter you don't even know you're peeing, it works when you're asleep or awake or medicated. Ive had them a few times when giving birth, getting it removed was weird.

My experience with having a catheter after my surgery: IT HURTS. it makes your entire urethra ache and getting it removed is an incredibly uncomfortable sensation, its literally pulling a deflated balloon out of you. And you don't have to try to pee, it drains it out as the bladder fills and you don't even notice

This video is older, but I wanted to comment on catheters. After I gave birth (by C-section) I had a catheter. You don't feel it and you don't know your peeing but I remember being SO scared for them to take it out. I thought it was going to hurt so bad. It wasn't that bad, couldn't have been cause I don't remember it lol. Honestly I have bladder issues so I wish I could just have a catheter all the time lmao.

The pee just comes out of the catheter, you don't feel when you're peeing either. It can be very uncomfortable when the catheter is put in if the nurse places it in incorrectly. I only know because when I had a c section, they put a catheter in me.

Have have one kidney stone that got stuck and required an ER visit. I can't compare the pain to birth as I've never given birth but a nurse who was helping me said she had done both and felt the kidney stone was more painful so... idk I'm sure it depends case to case! Birth can go wrong and kidney stones can vary in size and placement etc.
I had a urinary stent in place after my kidney stone removal. I think that is vaguely similar to a catheter. It was uncomfy.
I have had several urinary scopes which I imagine is a more accurate pain of a catheter... go through your urethra with no pain relief... its only about 30 seconds but I cry out every time ... never get used to that feeling aha... ugh! Drink your water, friends!!!
