Hi Jim loved the video , we visit France with our campervan and stay & fish mostly on the municipals on rivers , we do have the capability to wild camp , I know I would find it extremely interesting if you could do a video on public waters again regarding permissions, licences and your experiences , its a bit daunting for people like us that would love to visit some of the amazing public lakes , I was just looking at a couple near Mayenne ,they looked beautiful , also Jim does the full licence at €105 cover you to fish all over the most of France , Best Wishes & Regards Jim , Pete

Really enjoyed this one , was in this area last autumn but most of the lakes I visited were closed due to fire risk , so you know if they are open this spring 2023 ?

Hi James, I’m tying my baits onto a swivel & fishing them on a multi rig. I’ve used this method for at least 15 years or more. Just means I can change the hook without trying a new hooklength & I can have loads of hookbaits already tied up & ready to fish 👍🏻👍🏻🎣

They are mostly still closed with no re-open dates yet. They are saying the lignite underneath the ground is still burning!
