We spent 1 day exploring Angkor Wat (and it was absolutely enough) 🇰🇭

- Angkor Wat, the biggest temple complex in the world, and once upon a time the center of the mighty Khmer Empire. As it is a huge temple complex, it is pretty much impossible to visit everything in one day. But ticket prices are also crazy, $37 per person (not including transportation), which forces you to really think about how much time you want to spend there. We decided for a 1 day ticket, and did the small circuit. That is the most basic one, and takes you to all the most famous spots like Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm. Some people say anything less than 3 days is not worth it, but I must disagree. One day is absolutely enough for most people. Don't believe me? Then join us as we explore Angkor Wat!

We absolutely did 😊
Angkor Wat so beautiful with that water mirror look, and the sky above ❤
It is an incredible sight ❤️
Thank You for this Video about Cambodia🙏❤️️
Thank you for watching 🙏😊
Can see where you can get "temple" burnout. When I visit I might want to do one days worth of temples, hit something else the next day (Floating Village of Kampong Phluk comes to mind), and then hit the temples again on the third day if needed. Also agree re: all the tourist groups and crowding. November through February is supposedly the top tourist season, so at least you got there at the start of the busy season.
Yeah, I think spreading it out over multiple days and do/see something else in between is the best way to do it!
I never thought one day is enough!... After few days I still feel not enough...
Oh wow, you must really like ruins! 😄
Are you going to kulen mountain for water fall?
Unfortunately not this time, since we have already left Cambodia! However, next time I will for sure! 😄
You guys don't seem to look at anything. You do a lot of walking through one temple and then on to next. This is probably not your thing.
I've been there 3 times. Believe me, there is so much to see and to appreciate. The variety of the temples complex and the sheer mass of those temples were like nothing else in the world. It simply amazing how the ancient builders could have accomplished such monumental tasts with what tools they had over 1200 years ago.
Oh I'm sure there is, we just had a severe case of "old ruin" fatigue (and in my case also recovering from food poisoning)! It is indeed crazy how they managed to do this, and I'm happy you enjoy it so much! 😄
