- Thank you for supporting Fish That Snag. Although present all year round, tuna numbers swell in Platypus Bay during late Summer and early Autumn. Heading north from Hervey Bay into Platypus Bay and chasing these speedsters of the sea is a must do adventure for any fisho visiting the Fraser Coast.

Bread and butter species fishing and surface lure fishing are among my most popular fish video's. Other popular fish include Golden Trevally, Tuna, Sharks, Snapper, Queenfish, Cod, Coral Trout, Emperor, Sweetlip, Parrot fish, Bream, Threadfin Salmon, Flathead, Barramundi and many more.
Fished for these bad boys myself and man they are fun! Caught a 1metre longy on a 3000size spinner and 3-5kg rod. Awesome video! Love it

G'Day Mate - takes me about 20 -25 minutes in the 440 Quinnie being pushed by the 50hp Etec.

G'Day Tony - most tackle stores who stock Austackle Gear should have them, if you are in Maryborough or Hervey Bay I know that Freedom Fishing in Maryborough currently have them in stock and no doubt Steve at the Anglers Den in Hervey Bay will get some more when people ask for them. If you can let me know where you are I can find out the closest store with them in stock for you if you like?
