You sound like you’ve had enough of the area buddy? As I w said in your previous Videos, I used to live in the area and so did my Nan up until April this year, but it has changed, not for the better in places, you ever walked across Mayesbrook Park to the Roundhouse shops? There’s fish n chips, Chinese takeaway, another co-op, bit more to choose from. Just for the record would love to see another Mayesbrook Park/ Parsloes Park walk, makes me feel like I’m back home 👍🏻

I don’t mind the area, there is a lovely community, but what bothers me is a lack in quality in service to the community, where the standard should be higher. Why isn’t there more control in customer care in Barking and Dangenham? The smaller shop between the two is great. It’s a family business, but they are lovely and fair and everything is up to scratch. I wish it was them running the larger one. Thank you for taking the time to watch videos on my channel. I really appreciate it and your comments.
PS. I am familiar with the commercial area you have mentioned. There is a place I like to get English Breakfast there. I should do that it as well, I thought about it. Which route would you like me to do, between Parsloes park and Mayesbrook? Please suggest a route with details and I might do it, specially for you. :)

Hey buddy, I’ve got to be honest, you’re right about quality of service in the area it’s certainly gone downhill since I moved out the area in 2013, I still go back there every chance I get as it’ll always be home to me, and my Nan bless her heart lived in Harp House just off of Upney Lane up until April this year when she sadly passed away, you’re right about the smaller shop in the middle of the betting shop and the old cafe that used to be there, that’s the one I use and they used to look after my Nan so I’ve got a lot of loyalty to that particular shop,
The area that familiar with is the area I grew up in and I used to drink in the Roundhouse Pub when it was open not too sure if it is now sadly.
My pleasure, it’s a great channel, and I especially love the videos that you record in the area, so you done a video with Parsloes park in it, I mean you could walk straight down Rugby Road which takes you from Parsloes Park straight to Mayesbrook Park I lived down that road for 28 years however it’s not pretty, maybe Parsloes Park through Wykham Green which is off of Gale St through the back roads and into Porters Avenue past the Roundhouse and into Mayesbrook Patk, something like that would be really cool mate 😃👍🏻

    🤙🏼🤙🏼
*100%,* don't trust shops that hide their prices! I walk straight back out.
Wow, only showed total?! 😱😱 Isn't that illegal?? Horrifyin.

I am assuming it’s illegal. They also whined when I asked for the detailed receipt and had an attitude as if I was in the wrong. Oh, and when they did give me the detailed one, they listed items as "grocery item" not saying what exactly it was...

@@WorldTravellerAB shocking. I skate around ilford, barking, stratford areas so I really enjoy your videos, sometimes I see new routes or better routes to get around, and nice places to add to my list. I would love to see more of the Dagenham side, parks, cycle/skate safe roads, etc
