The Rolex Yacht-Master 126622 is encased in 40mm of stainless steel surrounding a Dark Rhodium dial on a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Features of this Rolex Yacht-Master include hours, minutes, seconds and date. This Rolex watch also measures 11.6mm in thickness and 47.1mm from lug-to-lug.

I own 3 subs and this YM. It beats the sub in looks but it isnt a daily wearer. That bezel is a scratch magnet and you cant have it polished either because its blasted platinum. And the bezel action is way too soft, The sub wins by a mile with its satisfying clicking sounds
my first and may well be my last Rolex. I can't think of another Rolex I like more than this. More cool than a sub, elegant enough as a dress watch, sport enough for daily.
Not really a daily, I own it too and rarely wear it. The bezel scratches so easily. I wore it for 2 days when I first got it and was really careful. Still two hairline scratches on the bezel already. Once in a blue moon. You need a ceramic sub as a daily beater :)
@@rogerb1964 I'm looking for something else for a daily wearer. I love my YM but, I'm always mindful it will easily pick up scratches. I've got my heart set on an Omega DeVille GMT for that very job.

This one is a sleeper. Next hype Rolex grail in the making. So unique yet functional and elegant. Goes with anything, causal or formal. Fire.

It has certain "cult classic" feel to it.
This is probably the most beautiful Rolex ever seen.
To me this is the quintessential Rolex. This watch is the personification of the brand.
This model with a blue dial is so much prettier than the Submariner. It's not just colors but the case shape; Yachtmaster is curvaceous like a Datejust, unlike Submariner's brutish sheer profile. More comfortable on the wrist. More elegant too.
Easily the most interesting, most under valued sport watch in the line up.
I watch this video whenever i'm not wearing mine as it sits on my watchbox. My most beloved rolex.
Got this watch in 2020 , and it’s a stunner. I wear this more than the Daytona, that’s how good this watch is

Agree. I also got this end of 2019, and it's got more wrist time than the Panda.
And how does the bezel look now? I wore mine for 2 days and had scratches. Ceramic for daily, this one for a day on the beach or a boat
There are definitely some light scratches as one would expect, but they came from desk diving. Scratches are part of the character of the piece.

I collected mine last week.....I'm absolutely loving it. The 'slate' dial with the ice blue secondhand is mesmerizing. It's my second Rolex

Underrated. I love mine since it goes with anything, from a Hawaii shirt to a suit
I recently bought the rose gold and chocolate dial version. It's on my wrist as I type this. It's stunning. The combination of rose gold and chocolate give it a warmth. It's absolutely stunning in sunlight.

Tim, this watch is a stunner, I love the shape of the case, the dial and the blue second hand, also this watch is one of the last affordable Rolex Sports watches, I hope to get one of these in the very near future.

This one is very hard to get as they make very small quantity of them, it’s now harder to find than any GMT or Submariner including Starbucks one! Of course I want one, and of course price are going up and waiting list are huge at all AD I know. Superb watch of course, but too much demand as usual. For me it’s the number 2 best Rolex to get now, after the blackface Daytona of course. Chasing them
The 42mm version looks better and slimmer somehow. Proportion-wise, i think the 40mm version will look nicer if Rolex adds 1 mm to the sapphire / dial. So 0.5mm thinner on the bezel and slightly smaller numerals. Thanks for the vid, man.

I didn’t love the look so passed.
I’m still waiting on the WG Daytona with Oyster Flex.

I’m absolutely in love with this timepiece and definitely thinking about getting my hands on one, if it’s possible. My only concern is regarding the durability of the platinum bezel and scratch resistance of the polished case. If a platinum bezel YM owner reads this, could you tell me about your experience?
Mine had a scratch on the bezel after a day, and you cant polish it no matter what people claim. Ask Rolex or check the Rolexforums. Cant be done. I own it but hardly wear it for that reason. A ceramic sub is what you need for a daily wearer unfortunately. Unless you are the kind of person who treats his watch like a baby. The case is fine, just like a Daytona case really. And the bezel has soft action, not anyhwhere as good as a submariner. You hardly hear the click. but the dial in the sun, wow. Buy it if you have other watches you wear daily, this is for the beach or a yacht. This is the classiest submariner but also the most delicate

@@Bayernfan4896 I like my bezels pristine, I dont go for the worn look some people dont mind. But the scratch is very hard to see. I know its there and thats why it annoys me. Some person having a quick look at the watch would never know. But like I said, you have to be a little careful, one wrong move and your bezel can take some serious damage that cant be polished. Also the bracelet - it has polished center links and no glidelock clasp- just the Oyster clasp with micro adjustments.. And it Scratches very easily compared to the brushed bracelet of a submariner. Its a luxury Submariner for special occasions. Hope that helps :)

This watch is out of my reach... Is there anything similar in style avaible in more affordable price range? I especially like colour choices of this watch. Nearest example is Steinhart Phantom GMT but it is charcoal black (coated titanium).
Is platin really a scratch magnet? Or can it be a daily wear without having many scratches

@@erwintan3575 oh man back in the days when I bought it I even got a 5% discount because I payed cash. I can‘t remember but it was around 9k I sold it for and still made a little money on it. But I miss it it’s a beautiful watch!

Me too, I was in Schiphol airport talking to the AD in there he seemed to think that this watch could well be attainable, went into my Ad in the U.K. and they didn’t say it would be a long wait, infact the last time I went in they had one in the window, let me try it on but it was for someone else this time

Not a fan of the way the dial is stamped with the crown and the word Rolex (looks cheap). For the asking price these should be applied and made of noble metal.

I have this n it feels more like a 39 n it’s my everyday Rolex,very comfortable then my jubilee date just 40 mm now that feels n fits like 40. Great vid. 🫶🏾
