I personally like the scratches. It makes the watch look and feel more ‘real’. So do not worry about the scratches, it just shows that this is a watch that someone actually wears.
I own both the Sub and the blue YM. Both are great watches, but the YM is a whole different level. Absolutely spectacular. It’s been my daily wear for a few years now and still looks amazing. The “delicate” platinum bezel is still in pristine condition. It’s no where near as fragile as you have been led to believe.
The Yacht-Master is a beautiful watch. The Submariner is also a great watch but I just wonder why so many people limit themselves just to the Submariner.
The Yacht-Master looks much better than the Submariner with the supercase. Also, being dressier makes it more versatile, less utilitarian looking. It's refined and elegant for a sports watch, I like such combination of attributes . For those who don't know, the purpose of the bidirectional bezel is to track elapsed time between buoys in a regatta and also to assist with the countdown to the start of the race. All marketing, electronic alternatives are used in real life, just like diving computers and digital chronos. Who cares, in this fantasy Rolex world. They should have called it Yacht-Racer. By the way "Rolesium" is not an alloy but a made up word to say there are elements of steel and elements of platinum. Well in this blue dial model only the bezel is platinum. In the previous model the dial was solid platinum too. I own the platinum dial 116622, a very monochrome and handsome watch to me. Bought it new 5 years ago, was produced from 2012 till 2016. I preferred it to the blue dial when side by side at the AD, although not by much. Retail price was 11,350 euros back in the day, not cheap when the Sub 116610LN was readily available for 7,900 euros. I chose the YM hands down (at a nice discount mind you) over the supercase Sub with its slab profile and fat lugs. Compared to the Sub, here's how I see things. Take the blue pill, buy the Sub and sleep with the peace of mind you have what everybody else wants. If everyone aspires to owning one, it must be good, right? Stay in the numbing and reassuring beaten path. Take the red pill, buy the Yacht-Master and step into another dimension, a world of fine connoisseurs who can appreciate the countless subtleties and elegant sophistication of such an exquisite timepiece. Almost no one will understand it but you don't follow the herd. Instead you go your own way, free from those dictating what you should be doing, how you should be thinking. @@Nexus.Achiles Is it true that the platinum face 116622 is a very rare watch? I’m looking at these on the used market and they’re up to 20% cheaper than the rhodium and blue face.
Love the video! I bought the 126622 in mid March this year, right before they shut it all down :-). I also chose this over the black sub and the Batgirl girl. 1 point to clarify, since I'm seeing that a lot of reviewers consistently get this wrong ( or at least present it in such a way that makes the viewer assume something that is not true). When we say that the bezel is solid platinum, what we should clarify is that the YM, just like all the other bezeled rolexes, has a bezel insert. The insert itself is solid platinum, but the coined rotating outer bezel is 904L just like all the others. If you look closely at the part where the insert meets the coined edges, you will see it. In fact, it is better this way,, since platinum is softer than steel, and it would not be practical to risk the bezel becoming deformed if God forbid you banged it against something. All in all, this watch is the at the top of the heap of all the bezeled offerings! Cheers.
You made a great choice with the Yacht-Master, it's a great watch. It's a good point about the platinum bezel and maybe I should have been more clear. I have also always thought how the full platinum smooth bezel on the Day-Date would fair with use. 🤔

My preference is most definitely the Yacht Master 40. I love the blue dial. In fact I also prefer the Yacht Master with the black dial and bezel with a rubber strap over the Submariner.
I have the blue YM and the new black Sub 124060. I gotta say the YM is my favorite. The look, feel, elegance and the fitment is on another level. The Sub is a great everyday watch and is easily recognized while the YM feels sporty with more elegance. I love both watches.

It is still one of my favorites. It’s the perfect size, it’s kind of flashy, but can still blend in. I’ve since gotten a two-tone version of the same watch in Rose gold and steel with a chocolate dial. One of the best pieces they make IMO
I got that two tone Yacht-Master with the chocolate dial and Everose Gold. Got that one about a year after the Slate dial. Pretty flashy, expect it to be noticed...
My grail watch has always been the Sub, but when isaw the yacht in person i decided not to wait and got the yacht. i still want a sub but this is a good choice id think
same I always wanted the SUB couldnt get it so I got the yachtmaster I love it what a under rated watch.. finally found a sub and now my collection is complete. got a 2012 datejust 2 silver diamond dial , a 2019 sub date and a yachtmaster 40 blue dial. MY date just is my daily. I Wear the other ones on occasion.
The most recognized watch is the submariner, proven and tested , its based on your preferences. But better than the subs... only the owner and his mood can decided for that .. I have both in my collections.
@@paulsiddle1673 it’s “ most recognized watch” who cares whatever watch you get , that’s your business . You get a watch coz u like it , not to be recognize.
Bought it today dual tone rose gold choc dial 40....walked in and saw it on display and bought it straight away(Melbourne AD at watches of Switzerland )couldnt believe my luck.YM is definitely more sophisticated and classy than sub, on the wrist it feels fantastic.
Love my Yatchmaster 40, keep it for best, more of a dress watch. I love the blue face and red hand. Still want to get a Sub, although GMT BLNR is my next target, just as I’ve been on waiting list for two years. Would swop position for new 2020 green bezel Sub. Yatchmaster is ideal for the smaller wrist, as mine is. Can still find Yatchmaster 40 on secondhand market for retail, seems to on the move up slowly, as the more popular sports versions top out on price and maybe demand. Who wants to pay almost twice retail for Batman/Batgirl (jubilee version) when this sexy watch is obtainable.
Really nice videography and quality. My only complaint would be when you said the Submariner's bezel is for timing remaining "oxygen". It is used for timing the length of the dive itself, it's not able to calculate remaining air. You would need a pressure gauge for that.
Actual dive watches are much different nowadays, no one actually uses Rolexes for diving anymore. Many divers use dive computers. I can tell you are just trying to sound smart.
@@StewartLucrative you’re right most divers now days use cheap dive computers. When I went through combat dive school I was the only one with a mechanical dive watch. An instructor told me, what the hell is that? that’s not a dive watch is it? I said, it’s old school dive watch. We all had a good laugh on that one. Instructor didn’t find it funny. I was wearing a omega seamaster at the time. Today I wear a Prometheus posiden or a Oris aquis caliber 400. Hoping to own a Submariner someday.
Great video but the easy link vs glide-lock was far fetched. I love my GMT Master 2 and I appreciate the easy link but I’d take the glide-lock any day if I could 👍 Its not even a fair fight between those two.
Agreed! Glide lock allows adjustments in 2mm increments. The easy link 5mm adjustment is too large, almost never use it. Unfortunately the glide lock clasp is 5mm longer than the easy link - and smaller is better.
My 2019 Submariner was my first Rolex. First of, I don't have the stainless steel Sub with black dial, I have a two tone bluesy, and the main reason I bought it over the Yachtmaster was the blue ceramic bezel and beautiful blue dial, together with the gold, it, to me, just is a magical combination. So the point where you say the dial on the YM is nicer than on the black Sub is true, but it is a mute one for me. The Subs bezel being unidirectional only doesn't bother me one bit, it takes maybe 1 or 2 seconds long to set it compared to the bi directional bezel, and it being a dive watch, the reason for it being unidirectional makes sense. Also, not only do I like the Subs bezel (again, in my case blue) better, but I also like the fact that it's virtually scratch proof and fade resistant. Seeing the scratches on your YM's bezel was a bit hard to look at and made me like my bezel even more. I prefer the glide lock extension over the easylink (I have a 2020 Datejust 41 so I am familiar with the easy link and find it a bit fiddly) The Glidelock has a finer adjustment, more range, and is easier to use, and the reason the range is so big is for people using their sub to go diving with a diving suit, so again, there's a functional reason why the range is so big. It's very true that the black Sub has no polished center links which can also be seen as a good thing since you won't see scratches as easily as you do on polished links, but again, that's a mute point for me since my centers are made of gold. A lot of people don't like the squarish look of the Supercase, I am not one of them, I actually love it, this is strictly personal taste. Lastly, the power reserve...newer movement, better movement, the YM wins hands down, until the next Sub will have the same movement. Sorry for the long essay, but I found myself having to "disagree" with your 5 points, mainly because I was comparing it to my own watch. Last two points, the Sub is cheaper than the YM and has a better depth rating. The Bluesy is 2 grand more than the YM but has the shiny dial, pretty and scratch proof bezel, and a dial that easily rivals the YM's....tricky to compare them all. Loved the review though and enjoyed every second of it! Keep up the good work!
It all depends on someones taste, but sub is to main of a watch, every one buys it, gray market is crowded with second hand subs. And about 300m depth of a sub, siriously, who will use it?, no one….
That comment about the 5mm clasp extension in the YM vs Sub Hulk's 20mm glidelock completely missed the point. The glidelock allows micro adjustments more suited for everyday use when the wrist expands. On the contrary in the YM, the clasp extension is really too much leaving most with a loose watch.
Cultivated World it’s a beauty . The bezel can get quite dirty and scratches easily . It’s not as good as the sub imo but the blue is stunning . It’s like the subs younger brother
Ok, so I have 2 yacht master (rhodium dial and choclate dial) and I also have the new 41mm sub. Gotta say that your points in this video are soso being I have both I can tell you that I defintiely like the look more of the yacht master but if i had my choice i would go with the sub because of its brand recognition and difficulty to get and history of it
The submariner bezel isn’t only for timing Oxygens left. It’s main purpose is for timing decompression stops so divers know how long they need to wait at a certain level, so they don’t ascend to fast and get decompression sickness aka the bends.
Hmm. But the unidirectional bezel turns anticlockwise, which would give you a shorter decompression time in case of accidentally turning it. This would be on the dangerous side as opposed to timing bottom time, where shorter is safer... Agree? Also, most diver don't use pure oxygen but pressurized air or Nitrox. Timing breathing air can't be done since it's related to depth and and breathing cadence. The pressure gauge will do that - and since it's 2021- a dive computer with an additional sensor for the tank pressure is the way to go😉
Great vid...but you've missed the point re the easy link vs glidelock...5mm of adjustment is pointless, its either going to be super tight or too loose (if anyone's wrist expands 5mm or more then you need to see a Dr). The glidelock offers increments of 2mm, which is perfect. Admittedly, 20mm is excessive, I just assumed it was there on the Sub to fit over dive suit.
I agree. The YM is much better looking in terms of the case shape and the combination of platinum bezel blue dial with that red seconds hand is just amazing.
I have the bluesy sub in stealing gold and absolutely loved it and would never change it for a yacht-master beautiful though it is it's just a matter of preference
I’ve seen a number of second hand Yachtmasters with platinum bezels. On a number of occasions the bezel has been marked quite visibly and is allegedly very difficult/expensive to refinish. Send it in for a service and God knows how much Rolex will charge for a replacement platinum piece. It’s a pretty watch but the high polished centre links, case and bezel would make it a nervous daily wear piece and I could see me wearing it less frequently to special occasions which would make it totally redundant in my view. That’s where the Sub steps in. The brushed surfaces and ceramic bezel means it can take a lot of wear without showing much damage and still look brand new. Sometimes watches are just a little too precious and need babying. For me the Rhodium dial is a killer look. The blue with the red highlights doesn’t work quite so well. All subjective of course. The model that’s growing on me is the cool looking rose gold two tone with the chocolate sunray dial. Warm harmonious times. I’m sure women would love that piece. Not as masculine perhaps but a pretty looking piece that you’ll virtually never see anyone else wearing. Best bit is that it’s a steal over the ugly root beer getting all the attention.
I agree with everything except for the Easylink being better than the Glidelock system. The Glidelock is superior in every way, and can be more finely tuned to your wrist size.
The Sky-Dweller review is in the pipeline and will definitely happen. We just have to wait for the lock-down to ease before we get our hands on it. Hopefully, it won't be too long.
I love the blue dial but how well does the bezel hold up to every day wear and tear? Is Platinum soft like gold will it look like shit after a couple of months of wear?
The Yacht-Master in the video is about 2 years old and has seen a fair amount of wrist time. Taking that into consideration the doesn't look too bad and bear in mind that any marks you can see look much more obvious in the video than they do in real life.
Mine is 12 years old. Daily worn for years before my dad gave it to me as my college grad gift. The platinum looks just like it did the day he bought it
Great video mate. Just subscribed. I wanted your opinion if possible? I'm about to buy my first Rolex and torn between 3 watches. This Yacht Master 40, a Deepsea Sea-Dweller James Cameron 126660 and a GMT Master 2 116710. Which would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
Glide lock is a much better feature. Only wish it was present on my explorer ii. The Sub will always be the flagship Rolex, it just has that timeless reputation & is an anytime, anyplace type of watch. YM is beautiful also & I do love the unique colour hand.
I disagree on the clasp, the glidelock gives you much smaller steps. My experience of owning models with both these clasps. That said, in everyday use, the Omega Seamaster Professional 300m clasp beats both in terms of usability. You can adjust it with a simple press & slide of your thumb, while still having the watch loosely on your wrist.
Nah mate there is a known issue with the Omega SMP push clasp. I’ve owned 3x of them and 1 got jammed and I couldn’t take the watch off!! The glide lock is leagues ahead!
The 20mm range of on-the-fly adjustment on the Submariner sounds like overkill, but the 5 mm of the Yachtmaster can be too little for some people. My watch has a total 9 mm range, and I use 5 out of the 6 positions on any given day...
I love the size, case design, polished cnetre links on the bracelet and the beautiful blue dial...but the bezel if fugley and the red seconds hand looks cheap and doesn't look serious enough. It's a shame. The Sub just ties together more nicely and is more versatile, especially the newest "41mm" version in black.
No, not Hulk, but actually submariner is created for (scuba) divers. And so it DOES makes sense to have an option for 20mm to extension. Because if you gonna wear a scuba neopren suit, your arm, wrist, gonna get larger and its needed a longer bracelet then. Also the bezel on the submariner specially is one directional because diver also. Thats the different between a "pilots-watch" and a divers watch. The reason why? Well wikipedia or google sure tells you
Both have different purpose, a Yacht master basically is NOT a diving watch, The Sub is, plus the extension size on the Sub is for a diver to be able to wear it on the gloves, and that’s why the Yacht master is more luxurious than the Sub.
The new Submariner addresses the power issue. End of the day……… still trying to justify itself against the submariner. Submariner versus the Yachtmaster......if you’re asking that, you already know ………it’s the iconic Submariner. You’re just trying to fool yourself every time you look at that Yachtmaster on your wrist and asking yourself why didn’t I get the Submariner.
Some ridiculous reaching here. 20mm glide lock is too much flexibility? That’s like calling your boss and asking for a pay cut because all that money is too hard to spend!
The argument for the clasp was dumb, the sub can make the exact same level of adjustment as a YM and then some, so the YM isnt better than the sub there. But it is for the other categories
Nobody dives with a dive watch hundreds of feet under water, they use dive computers. A yacht master is an upgraded version of the submariner, just less water resistance being less of a tool watch. But like I said, nobody is diving hundreds of feet under water with a Rolex submariner, so the water resistance is useless in the submariner to me. 100ft is just fine on a Rolex, that’s perfect for daily use and even if you want to go swimming with it.
5 reasons it’s not 1. The platinum bezel is a scratch magnet, can’t be refinished and costs a bomb to replace. Scuffs look horrible. 2. The polished centre links are scratch magnets 3. The blue dial is OK but the red second hand really clashes with it in a visually jarring way and looks terrible. The grey dial being much superior. 4. The yacht master doesn’t lie quietly on the wrist it shouts loudly over the radar and attracts the wrong attention ie you could be mugged for your watch in public 5. The 5mm bracelet adjustment isn’t anyway superior to the Submariner. 6. Bonus. The high polished clasp also attracts scratches just by breathing on it.
İn my opinion piano black glossy dial is allways much better than sunburst dial it looks much luxury premium and quality sun burst dial looks so cheap and simple
YM is a bit over the top for me.....too much for my taste....when younger guys wear them it looks a bit pretentious.... just me....Sub is classy but not FU classy.

how is it after 3 years?
It is still one of my favorites. It’s the perfect size, it’s kind of flashy, but can still blend in. I’ve since gotten a two-tone version of the same watch in Rose gold and steel with a chocolate dial. One of the best pieces they make IMO
@@DESCENDINGDR I have the rhodium dial but I am trying to find that chocolate dial on ever rose.
I got that two tone Yacht-Master with the chocolate dial and Everose Gold. Got that one about a year after the Slate dial. Pretty flashy, expect it to be noticed...
I bought the Yachmaster last week because to me it just suited with so many occasions and looked striking.
My grail watch has always been the Sub, but when isaw the yacht in person i decided not to wait and got the yacht. i still want a sub but this is a good choice id think
They are both great watches and if you can have both you will have the best of both worlds.
same I always wanted the SUB couldnt get it so I got the yachtmaster I love it what a under rated watch.. finally found a sub and now my collection is complete. got a 2012 datejust 2 silver diamond dial , a 2019 sub date and a yachtmaster 40 blue dial. MY date just is my daily. I Wear the other ones on occasion.
@Matthew Congreave I have seen both brother and the blue face on the yachtmaster is the one to buy most definitely thank you sir.
It sounds like the Yachtmaster is filling in for what you really want, a Sub.
The most recognized watch is the submariner, proven and tested , its based on your preferences. But better than the subs... only the owner and his mood can decided for that .. I have both in my collections.
Do not give a twit if someone "recognizes" my watch. Doesn't play into my purchasing decision.
@@paulsiddle1673 it’s “ most recognized watch” who cares whatever watch you get , that’s your business . You get a watch coz u like it , not to be recognize.
@@WAQZR35 That’s what I said.
Bought it today dual tone rose gold choc dial 40....walked in and saw it on display and bought it straight away(Melbourne AD at watches of Switzerland )couldnt believe my luck.YM is definitely more sophisticated and classy than sub, on the wrist it feels fantastic.
I just did the same thing today! Greetings from Zurich
@@joevazquez9405 congratulations mate…..this watch will just grow on u with time……wear it in good health 👍
@@lostandconfusedsoul4457 thank you so much and same to you. I traded in my stainless steel GMT for it plus some $$$ I pick it up today !
@@joevazquez9405 good decision 👍👍
Yes, you are right about the oxygen. Maybe I should have been more clear. Thanks for watching.
The submariner expands more to fit over a wet suit. They are actually designed for diving not just the office.
desk diving :D
*drops mic*
No one uses a Sub to dive. The Bezel is only used for timing things nowadays.
Just got a 16623 yachtmaster, but my next watch will be the 116622 for sure! The blue is absolutely stunning
I’m not a Rolex dude ( prefer Omega and Breitling ) but there’s something about this watch that makes it sooo simple yet sooo perfect. A winner
Its just a Sub with a different bezel and some colors on the dial. Wow. rolex is such a yawnfest
@@NCSheriff7No, it's a Sub with the case shape done right. The only Rolex I would wear.
In ym that easy link clasp is ideal to be opened in summer, and closed in winter.
I couldn't agree more I have the Hulk and this exact watch and I enjoy the YM much more it fits my 6.6 in wrist perfectly...
I happen to own both watches they are both beautiful in their own way I wear the submariner more than the yacht Master both are amazing time pieces
They are both great watches but the Yacht-Master is so underrated. You have the best situation and you have both watches.
Thank you for bringing attention to this beautiful blue Rolex
This YM is spectacular.
Yes, the Yacht-Master is a great watch and so underrated.
So very Underrated!! Better than submariner in every single aspect!! Come On!!
Yes, the Yacht-Master 40 is so underrated. There are so many people that are going to kick themselves when Rolex discontinue this model.
Cultivated World it’s a beauty . The bezel can get quite dirty and scratches easily . It’s not as good as the sub imo but the blue is stunning . It’s like the subs younger brother
As a diver watch, the YM is a better watch?
For diving purposes the Submariner is definitely a better watch.
I like it with the rhodium dial better.
We like the Rhodium dial as well. We love the turquoise seconds hand on that model. If we could, we'd have them both. 😍
I like the platinum bezel, and that strap lugs on the case curve in to meet the strap much better than what I have seen on the sub
We definitely find the Yacht-Master 40 to be more comfortable than the Submariner.
Ok, so I have 2 yacht master (rhodium dial and choclate dial) and I also have the new 41mm sub. Gotta say that your points in this video are soso being I have both I can tell you that I defintiely like the look more of the yacht master but if i had my choice i would go with the sub because of its brand recognition and difficulty to get and history of it
Interesting piece. Keep up the good work. Regards.
Thank you for your comments and we're glad you enjoyed the video. 👍
This is a better watch by all measures! No one really dives with a dive watch!
I agree. The YM is much better looking in terms of the case shape and the combination of platinum bezel blue dial with that red seconds hand is just amazing.
I have the bluesy sub in stealing gold and absolutely loved it and would never change it for a yacht-master beautiful though it is it's just a matter of preference
I like the Yacht master, thanks for this great review.
Thank you for watching.
This is going to be my first trophy. This the one.
Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
I agree with everything except for the Easylink being better than the Glidelock system. The Glidelock is superior in every way, and can be more finely tuned to your wrist size.
Just got one, it’s awesome
Just got mine today. Thank you
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 👍
Just got the blue dial YM a month ago. YM is no match for the Sub. YM is the rich man's Sub:-))
Horses for courses I’m a sub fan although the YM is a nice looking watch .
Damn bro, you just sold me on the Yachtmaster 40. :)

40mm?
@@paulsiddle1673 yeah. It wears smaller cause of the shape of the case. It's not like maxi case.
Hit the nail right on the head! Yacht master all day!
The Yacht-Master 40 is such an underrated watch. People will be kicking themselves whenever Rolex discontinues it.
The Gladlock is for superior than the quick extension easy link. And it’s also used for diving to fit over a wetsuit. You failed on this point buddy
@@CultivatedWorld Thats good to know
Mine is 12 years old.
Love it, the submariner.
The Submariner is also a great watch. 👍
I have both in two tone. Both are fantastic!
The Charlie Sheen watch! 😂 Love it.
The link adjustment on the sub being too much is so true - made me laugh when you said it’s for the Hulk😂
can you please compare the new yacht master 40 to the new GMT master 2 pepsi?
We have a review of the GMT Master 2 'Pepsi' coming soon. We'll get the 2 watches together at some point and make a comparison. 👍
Good points
Thank you. 😀
A stunning watch!
The bracelet adjustment is for wet/dry suits which vary in thickness depending on conditions & depth.
I was lucky enough to purchase a black sub/ date today. to me it is the classic rolex. the YM is very nice, but .... ~ JDS/CT. ( aug 25. )
Congratulations on your new watch. The Submariner is a great watch too.
This is the watch I want 😍
I disagree on the clasp, the glidelock gives you much smaller steps. My experience of owning models with both these clasps.
That said, in everyday use, the Omega Seamaster Professional 300m clasp beats both in terms of usability. You can adjust it with a simple press & slide of your thumb, while still having the watch loosely on your wrist.
Nah mate there is a known issue with the Omega SMP push clasp. I’ve owned 3x of them and 1 got jammed and I couldn’t take the watch off!! The glide lock is leagues ahead!
@@MikoTheTomCat never ever heard of an issue with that clasp 🤷🏻♂️
very known and common issue with those Omega push clasps. No questions asked just straight on the spot replacement from Omega.

The 20mm range of on-the-fly adjustment on the Submariner sounds like overkill, but the 5 mm of the Yachtmaster can be too little for some people.
My watch has a total 9 mm range, and I use 5 out of the 6 positions on any given day...
This right here is my grail. One day.
Mine is the 116622 as yours which doesn't have the 70 hours ?
I love the size, case design, polished cnetre links on the bracelet and the beautiful blue dial...but the bezel if fugley and the red seconds hand looks cheap and doesn't look serious enough. It's a shame.
The Sub just ties together more nicely and is more versatile, especially the newest "41mm" version in black.
Excellent video. Congrats.
Thank you very much!
Eine wunderschöne Uhr 👍👍👍
…I thought that not the complete bezel was made of platinum, only the insert of it 🤔
I'll pick this over the sub any day. Why pick a ceramic bezel when you can have a precious metal platinum bezel.
Sea Dweller 43 smokes them both. Appreciate the video though.
We have our review of the the Sea-Dweller 43 coming soon. Watch this space. 😎
Great review!
Thank you for watching.
Theres a reason the sub sells 500:1 over the YM
Much cheaper is the main reason
Exactly why YM would be my choice.
Definitely better than submariners
blue dial grey watch face is still my favorite
No, not Hulk, but actually submariner is created for (scuba) divers. And so it DOES makes sense to have an option for 20mm to extension. Because if you gonna wear a scuba neopren suit, your arm, wrist, gonna get larger and its needed a longer bracelet then. Also the bezel on the submariner specially is one directional because diver also. Thats the different between a "pilots-watch" and a divers watch. The reason why? Well wikipedia or google sure tells you
I have it, then love to see you speaking about it ! THANKS !
Yacht Master in rolesium with slate dial, 40mm is my pick!
I'm going to change my Submariner date from 2021for this beauty because of this 5 reasons.
"you're"

Some ridiculous reaching here. 20mm glide lock is too much flexibility? That’s like calling your boss and asking for a pay cut because all that money is too hard to spend!
Yess I prefer the Yacht master over the submariner....
The argument for the clasp was dumb, the sub can make the exact same level of adjustment as a YM and then some, so the YM isnt better than the sub there. But it is for the other categories
Nice vid. Subbed! I have the 37mm Rhodium YM. Much better imo than the ubiquitous Sub.

WHATS THE RETAIL PRICE ?
The price of the new Yacht-Master (126622) is £9,550 GBP ($12,000 USD/€11,450 EUR).
Love it.
This over a Sub for sure.
5 reasons it’s not
1. The platinum bezel is a scratch magnet, can’t be refinished and costs a bomb to replace. Scuffs look horrible.
2. The polished centre links are scratch magnets
3. The blue dial is OK but the red second hand really clashes with it in a visually jarring way and looks terrible. The grey dial being much superior.
4. The yacht master doesn’t lie quietly on the wrist it shouts loudly over the radar and attracts the wrong attention ie you could be mugged for your watch in public
5. The 5mm bracelet adjustment isn’t anyway superior to the Submariner.
6. Bonus. The high polished clasp also attracts scratches just by breathing on it.
Also, the power reservation is the same. I just don't understand why he used the new sub and said that it cannot go for 70hrs.
Agree on some points - but the bracelet adjustment is utter nonsense. The EZ link is too big of a gap. No value at all.
We understand where you're coming from. Your watch definitely needs to match your personality and character.
