Dude I work in one of the big 4s and the starting salary is pathetic. (Deloitte being an exception) It's just marginally higher than the likes of Infosys etc. Although the hike is great. So the salary part would be a con for me.
And the work-life balance is PATHETIC. Apart from that I completely agree with all your pointers.

Hi Palak, thanks for an amazing video, it is very informative. I appreciate if you can resolve my query. I your opinion Hwz EY GDS would be the option for a Software Testing Profile. Is it good to join/go with this position in EY incomparison to other IT firms like Congnizant, Accenture etc.

hey loved your video and the knowledge that you shared. Just one thing ..I'm working in Deloitte and as you said that we can only work on our laptops and nothing else so it's not the case. Maybe in your company, it was but in Deloitte, you can open any sites you want, and even sometimes I also open Spotify or youtube and play some songs and work at the same time.

i don't know may be she had been in just one of the big 4s , so she may feel these are the advantage. but i found only 1 advantage, ie , annual shutdown!! :-D

It’s no different than typical Indian MNCs like TCS, Infosys and ridiculous Indian work culture

Hi, I got offer from KPMG is it good am from SAP field ???
One of the biggest difference and fall side for an Engineer while he/she works with Big 4 and the other options like Software Services/Product Companies/Software Product Companies like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft is that the number of headcounts available. It's always less and that makes life pathetic with work-life balance facing a Big Toss. Eg. In a Software Services Company for a Software Implementation project we would be having around minimum 5 Technical people but here in Big 4 max 3 😭😭😭

I still have few months....... Either I can prepare for some product based company(which will be a little hectic for me) or get satisfied with the offer and start pursuing some of my hobbies.
Also will I get a chance to switch to Software engineer at some product based company later?

@@rajripu4736 actually busy with tight schedule as I haven't found my way out from Big 4 yet. Would suggest you to go with Product based companies.

KPMG- I guess two months
Resignation is employee decision..No one can stop until and unless you are serving your notice period..Sometimes manager doesn't relieve you easily due to ur importance for the project..However after your notice period no one can stop you..Hope it clear ur query..

Can a student studying for external exams like gate can manage working in such componys (as a fresher) atleast for 1st 6 months?

It depends on person to person experience..Remember before joining these firms:
1. If u are on client side, you will not get one week off in the December.
2. Again it depends on which domain you are working..Let say finance then the client will be indian only..
3. Certifications sponsored wali bat is not true for everyone..You have to earn a lot of badges for going for certification..
4. Team outings again depend on manager..
5. Last but not the least the thing which only matters is ur profile and ur package..

Because of the pandemic they have allowed WFH but during normal times you have to go to office atleast 4 days in a week.

Pressure is everywhere 🌟. If you're entering the corporate, just prepare yourself for this. KPMG is a brand and my personal experience has been great 🌟

The hike is good. And variable pay depends on your performance.. a good performer can get anything around 20-30% and an avg performer 10-15 %. Working hours are typically 9hrs daily but you would definitely be working more than that.

Hello , I have three offers in my hand PWC, Infosys and Accenture for Infosys and Accenture joining is in August and for PWC it is in September. Iam in a confusion that, i cannot accept the joinings from Infosys and Accenture if I want PWC. By leaving those aside and waiting for PWC is it worth to do. Can u give we a correct idea about this confusion of me. And my role is associate in domain of cyber in PWC.
Also i heard that in PWC there will be no job security I mean they may revoke offer any time. Is that true?
@@katamsivanagasravani3490 that's definitely not the case with Pwc at all. It is a big brand and if they have given you the offer letter for a permanent role , no way they can remove u if you perform well. I guess if brand value is your priority go with Pwc .

Depends on ur project. I've personally worked for 12 hours straight.

Why Deloitte usi giving less pkg 25.8 compare to Hcl,ntt,uhg,cts these are giving 28 lpa.is it good to join Deloitte on 2.2 lacs less pkg. Role Senior advisor
