Which character should I cover next? It seems lots of characters are going unoptimized with their combo damage in this game
You can tell new players by if they can do a combo...
I'm meeting hwoarangs in teal rank doing
B3 4444 HS! Ff4
I'm enjoying new players but I didn't realize how far I had progressed
Already been using this tech - been making a video about it
ruclips.net/video/M7Zp5S1b2ZI/видео.html
Could you do a video on Paul tech?Great vid btw!
Lars cover him
Kazuya 🤜💥
Glad to see your channel growing, great video as always. Time to test the setup
Bro this is huge !! This will change everything. I've seen pros doing it but I didn't understand the reason behind it. I'm gonna hit that subscribe button & smash the like button. Thanks
Appreciate it :)
Just starting learning Jin now, will be watching taking notes 📝 lol
Great vid! Why are screw hits so good? do the put they momentum of the character in a better spot to land combos?
I saw the Alpha do this vs devilster and I didn’t think too much about it thanks for the video ❤
Glad I could help!
I did not know about the red eye dash after WS1>33. This is a huge help. Thank you so much.
I was legit doing WS1,33 into cd1 manually maybe hit like 3/10 thinking that was hard to execute turns out its easy 😂
@@Jok3rDk All this time I used what arsenalty taught, which is DF4, D4 or DF4, D2.
It's a super nice combo. Learned from Arsenalty and definitely endorse this one.
Only difference I do is, instead of WS 1 > [3+3], I just do a regular df [3+3]. Yes you lose the extra damage of the jab but execution is way more consistent and you can buffer the move when they are in the screw. So I prefer that :D
Does Devil Jin have anything like this? This seems similar to Kazuya F4 into FF4 as a combo ender, any other characters you figured out has this stuff?
The gold ranks know this, but it still catches a lot of players. I mix it up with his f/d 4, and d2 them or if you want guarantee is d4 for both Okizeme.
When I ran to this on ranked I took Jin to lab straight away, figured out how to beat it myself 😊
This i awesome lol. I can nearly repeat it across the map in Yakushima!!
I always Do this without the while rising 1, 33 i just Do downforward 3,3 into 1 or hellsweep. Is there a difference? Or just the damage
thanks, didn't underground the counter for this.
U can quickstand and block the hellsweep as well
Bro I really enjoy how straight forward you are with these videos ❤, I picked up Jin but he’s not as crazy like your Jin so I’m taking notes 📝
Glad I can help
Btw it also loses to recovery kick (the lil toe kick while laying down)
yup
Nice cut bro
i was making a video about this - i have been using this tech already
Great minds think alike. This vid randomly popped up on my YT and I was like, 🤔 somebody dun stole islers tech. 😂😂😂😂😂 let me send it to him but then I thought. Let me make sure he’s not in the comments section. Then boom!!! There you are 😂.
It seems like the low kick into back roll, d 3 or 4 also beats it but its still an amazing tech thank you for this!
beat that with cd neutral 4, it'll float the opponent
At 1:11 after you counter hit with f4, I see that after running you hit them with the b3 as they fall. However, whenever I try to follow up with a b3 after a counter with f4, I can never hit them even trying to run immediately after the counter hit?
Same problem, no timing works
@@slexho9709 it’s not b3. It’s b3F ZAN 1
Sorry, forgot to mention this before. You have to transition into Zanshin if you want the pickup. He’s doing b3F ZAN 1 in the video.
b3 does not pickup.
@@Retibra thank you so much dude
Yeah only b3 is 16 frames so it doesn't pickup after f4 Counter hit however if you transition into zen after b3 by pressing forward then suddenly it becomes 15 frames which makes it pretty easy for a pickup
Bro I need help. I’m honestly struggling so much with the BnB combo.
So b3f1 * bf2
ALWAYS turns into b3f12
The timing is so hard on the “wait” before bf2.
I can’t anchor my brain. I want to start bf 2 right when the elbow hits but that’s to fast. You need to wait a super awkward amount of time…
Any tips? I’m honestly at my wits end here…
Thanks
You are correct, delaying the 2 is the only way, once you get the timing down it's not too hard though.
I’m also struggling with the timing on the bf2, glad someone else is trying to figure it out. Thought I was going crazy when the Zen f12 was coming out every time
@@SuperMann104I wrote up an entire thing on how I’m retraining my brain. It’s working. I’ll comment it to you
@@SuperMann104
How to Train Jin's BnB: *=NEUTRAL
The hard part of his combo is the Neutral timing *
b3f1* bf2
This Drill will train the Neutral timing to muscle memory. SOUND is immensely important in this drill. I dont note focus oj the character but focus on the sound
It is very hard to "anchor" the start of your bf2. It does not start on the elbow hit(f2) , but a millisecond after. Too early you get the b3f12 .Too late and you drop the combo.
Here is the drill to find your bf2 start point, and the "anchor point" that your brain can gain muscle memory from.
Do b3f1 and continue mashing 1. Eventually Jin's jab will come out... LISTEN. LOOK. FEEL. Pay attention to when this jab comes out. This is the Anchor point…when the b3f1 string has ended.
Eventually replace the 1 jab with a 2 input jab. Now if you mess up, the b3f12 string will happen.
Eventually do the full bf2.(
If you need to train bf2 on the side add that in also
the bf2 needs to remain a distinct and clean input. The f and 2 can’t be at the same time
Alternate these 3 things:
b3f1 * 1Jab
b3f1 * 2Jab
b3f1 * bf2
The most important step is b3f1 * 2Jab. This is anchoring your brain to press 2 at that exact time. It will train you to stop mashing and WAIT.
Then when you make it the full one, the timing of the 2 is so ingrained that it will fall right into place.
You are literally just inserting bf !!! The 2 does not move!
When you add in the bf. Make sure you are holding off on your 2 still
Left Thumb bf is a SEPARATE thing! Independent of your 2 press
The bf should change to line up with 2, not the other way.
Spend a lot of time alternating with and without the bf to really solidify the timing. Like 3 with 3 without. Or 1 with one without. Repeat
If you mess up even once on any of the 3, go back down a level for a while.
Do this for every launcher and relevant counter hit.
Again, if you mess up, GO BACK. DO NOT TRAIN BAD MUSCLE ME LIKE I DID BEFORE THIS PROCESS.
That’s all. If you didn't deeply ingrain bad muscle mem, then this should be easy! If you did like me then this will retrain your brain!!!
I was having the same problem bro. Thanks for asking
I did this setup all the way to Fujin
You should mention how cd1 is -13 if they do quickstand. So doing this for your combos does have a risk
Yeah it is a small risk but it's worth it imo. 99% of players won't quick getup and if they do, even less people will punish this optimally.
@@Boogard it’s definitely worth pointing out especially when fighting characters that have 13f heat engagers
And Side roll left also doesnt work in case if man was nockdowned with f4!
I t hought it doesnt too but u just have to be faster and it actually hits
Toe kick also beat that that
Yeah I found this from devilster
B3 after f4 counter dont work for me..
Use b3f1
You have to do b3,f1. It has a lower hit box then just b3 so will easily pick up after f4
What controller are you using?
Ps5 controller
@@Boogard dude is it better to use the analog then the pad
Make a bryan combo guide maybe I really struggle with his combos
Agreed
Good idea
Has this been patched out? Doesn’t work for me
same
i cant run after ff4
@@iiCRANKx I'm pretty sure the starter they're using is counterhit f4, not ff4
😮❤
It's really hard to add it to a combo consistently, (WS 1,3) but it's kind of like the perfect electric in that, if you can do it, it's kind of unstoppable.
You can just do the df3~3 without the ws part and still sick dmg
No it is extremely easy and nearly impossible to miss, and I'm not tying to gloat at all. If you are having perfect electric level difficulty with this, I think you are doing it wrong.
Fullcrouch after screw, let go, and press 2,[3,3,] ->df ->1. You have an eternity to do this, including plenty of time to run up if you want to be closer. It is neither a combo nor unstoppable. It is an okizeme set up that can be dealt with by doing quick get-up, which leaves Jin at -13. I wish I had some advice for you if you're struggling, but you literally just hold down, let go, and press 2.
You can perform WS move easier is you input a quarter circle motion and then the 1, 33 after the Tornado. It helped me a lot. I hope you find it helpful.
what the shit, i do this
but instead i do df 3(x2) to do the kick only instead of doing WS 1>3(x2)
ofc i didn't invent it, i saw Devilster do it and was like "shit imma steal that"
How do you pick up after ch f4 consistently? I'm having a problem with that
mostly timing on the b3 while running up to them, but if i had to explain it more precise: im picking it up on timing where i input my dash, hold the second forward for ~20 ticks and then immidiately do b3.
also remember to hold forward immidiately after b3 because "b3" and "b3~f" (which puts you into zen) have slightly different hitboxes, and because of that b3~f scoops lower than b3
I thought ground poke and spring kick beat this too
Recovery kick also doesn't work with it!
Steve guide im really to play him recently but he feels so difficult
I still need to figure out that character lol
What if it's a devil jin player who flys from getup?
Should beat every option
@@Boogard should I then do the electric wind hook fist since it's a high?
So even just staying laid down won’t avoid the launcher?
If they stay on the ground it'll hit but it won't launch
People are not talking about hellsweep f33 zen yet XD. I figured that out recently and it’s the most disgusting thing ever
why the f33? wouldn't it be faster to just manually go into zen
Elaborate please?
@@Boogard go in practice and set the dummy to quick stand. Hellsweep them , and then directly after do f33 into zen into up1. Guaranteed if they quick stand. Then if they roll or stand on the ground, you d2 of cd1 electric. If they hold back, ff2 heat engage is guaranteed.
Yeah what about the toe kick tho, it consistently beats cd 1. I haven't seen anyone talk about that 😭 Toe kicks are 13 frames and you are allowed to do up to i17 attack to trade, i16 and below will beat it, because you get +4 with this specific tech. I personally go for df4, it gives +6 and is easier 😅
I also get the same situation to where i still cannot beat a toe kick even when inputted frame perfect, which makes the move an i20 attack. (13+6 =19)
For reference I am speaking of the "recovery kick" as it is listed in the practice menu)
Side note Kazuya is completely able to beat all get up options except quick stand, no trouble with toe kicks
Idk now recovery kick feels inconsistent at best cuz it's seems like a strict timing 🤔 I just tried it on myself and I'm getting relaunched more often than not
Try ws4 from the crouch dash
been doing this the first week of release
This guy's voice got stuck on 1.5 x speed
Okay this is disgusting, thank you.
this is insanly difficult
How do you run after the ff4
It's easy in Tekken 8 than Tekken 7 press f4 and don't press forward after f4 so you don't go into zen just press f4 (Counter hit) then run in by doing a forward dash then do your combo. People usually do b3 into zen 1 and you know the rest of the staple combo
If you go into zen after f4 Counter hit you don't really have to run as you can easily bound in zen or even after zen cancel combo but if you get a f4 Counter hit and you don't press or hold forward after the counter hit then you'll have to run in by pressing ff and immediately press b3 f when you reach you're opponent but remember when you reach you're opponent press forward after b3 as it makes it easy to pickup because he goes into zen
KAZ combo optimization Guide if possible
Might just do that
tried it. there's like maybe 1 person for like every 20+ in purple who knows how to block this. the potential relaunch is disgusting as well.
Damn...Do you coach?
Nah im not good enough to coach lol
Actually devilster and Alpha use this move, i copied it from them
Ben non, t'appuis sur sur carré, ou 1, et Jin ne peut pas continuer à te ramasser, et tu l'attrape sur le côté
The Alpha has been doing this for a while lol. You didn’t find this out man 😂
I didn't say I invented it I, found it out through labbing and made a video about it to make it more well known as I hadn't seen anyone talk about it. I have no idea who alpha is
I just watched The Alpha's gameplay. You are right. Thanks, I got another Jin pro to watch.
@@Boogard the Alpha is a really good Tekken player but Devilster is a much better Jin than the Alpha. Great video man! I will add this mix to the game plan thank you!
alright now delete the vid so no one knows
Huahahah
Agreed 🤝🏻 🥸
Tbh i thought everyone knows that
ok, thank you for letting me know... now you can delete the video so nobody else knows ... LOL
Lol get ready for everyone to quick get up now 🤣
I still wouldn't call this a Combo Damage Increase, because it infact is not a Combo. If you can get out of it, it's not a true combo.
If anything, this is a nasty-ass Mix up/Chain tutorial
This guy talks like there's a question mark at the end of every sentence.
How do u cd1 so quickly?🥹😭
Hold down forward after the Brazilian kick to enter the stance and then press 1
@@jojonta2119 no like I see ppl do it quickly for oki as well
