Great video! Only question is about the diff cover screws- isn't adding Loctite to screws into plastic bad, unless the Loctite is specifically formulated for plastic and not metal? I've always only used Loctite on metal to metal surfaces. Anyway, I very much appreciate your video, this is the next task for my Kraton, and I'm feeling better now after your walkthrough!
I watched this to do the diff oil on my only two battery old car.. and one of my bearings was failing too, I ordered some new higher grade replacements and after running it for only three more batteries the original bearings where completely shot! Hopefully the new replacements last.
So I have 1st Gen Outcast V2 that has the slipper. Do you know if the new center diff they put into the Outcast V2.5 is a direct fit into the original V2?
Looking forward to the driving video after. Picked up a Kraton for Christmas, regretted selling my widemaxx to get the xmaxx.

Thanks for the very informative video. I just watched and did step by step as you did and it was very easy.
Very helpful video, thank you!
great video - but you need some quality hex drivers . those cheap free ones you got were making me nervous

Yes sir.
That will fit into your big rock, and you can upgrade and get rid of the slipper clutch….
