hi cozy friends🤎this was filmed last week, before knowing how much some of us would really need this self-care chat now. while we might not be feeling cheery about the self-care we need, i hope this can still help you decompress & get you through rough times. don't let anyone make you feel bad for how you're feeling. take all the time you need. love you and please know i'll always be a safe space for you.
@mari23_13 sending you all the love. My sister passed away a month ago, and it's been a very rocky situation. All we can do is our best and remember the good times. I hope you're finding some cozy vibes that soothe your heart ✨️💗🎀
Been watching everything unfold from Canada and I am completely reeling from how badly I overestimated the humanity of so many people. Thanks for being such a little light, and I hope we are all going to be okay.
I'm an American and wanted to share my perspective. If you live outside of the U.S., then you probably rely on the news to give you a depiction of our country. However, I feel like the news does not always give a balanced portrayal of what it's like to live here. I think that in the last election, Americans voted based on whether they were satisfied with how the last four years had gone. Not all Americans were tuning in to all of the latest developments in the news of things like Trump's court cases. I think the reason for why Trump got so many votes was because people thought he would be a good leader on issues like inflation, border security, and energy independence.
My little contribution: LED candles. Many might find them a heresy but HEAR ME OUT! You never have to change them. No wax spill when you blow them off. The light is just as cosy and ambiance-setting as a real candle. You can choose one scented candle to light along the LED candles for scent (I do that). You never have to worry about burning something, and all the LED candles I own have a timer setting that turns them on for 6 hours, they turn off for another 6 and then turn back on on their own!!! I have converted a few friends including one living with depression. LED CANDLES!!!!!
I agree with this wholeheartedly! I have some amazing LED candles from tea lights to tapered! I have ADHD so flame candles are dangerous for me. I forget to blow them out. 😂
@@Printandpetalco Yes!! The LED tea lights are amazing! We are NOT in the business in having you burning the house down, thank you to the inventor of LED candles for keeping you safe and cosy🙌🏻
A suggestion for the fake candle haters like me 😂 Put the led candle in one of those candle house things (the candle holders that hide the candle) so that you can enjoy the warm glow without being offended by the sight of the fake flame
I'm definitely in a place where nothing is making me feel better or bringing me joy. However, I'm trying & reminding myself that punishing myself isn't helping. So I've made myself make that cup of tea, make something to eat, watch an old favorite movie etc etc. Appreciate the video 🤎& sending hugs to all.
It's so interesting seeing your thoughts in the comment section, because as I was watching this, I kept thinking, "This video is so perfectly timed and Cozy K knows exactly how much her community needs this right now." The fact that it wasn't intentional makes this video (and you!) all the more magical. What you do is so important, thank you for being here. 💖
I use all of these. I have to have these because of my general mental health. I'm extremely blessed to have access to rest, family support, and ample resources. I hope everyone can find cozy moments too, you all deserve it ✨️💗🎀
I've dealt with an anxiety disorder since the age of 6. I'm 31 now and still struggle with it now matter how much work I've done. It's an ongoing process. Thank you for being here Kennedy and sharing your way of life. You've taught me to enjoy things and structure my time in a way that makes me truly happy. Productivity is important, but so is soothing our souls. Having too high of expectations on ourselves or others just leads to a critical voice in our head, which is where sadness stems from. It says we are not enough. Thank you again.. love all your tips and just how much you care about others.
This past week has been exhausting and deeply disappointing. I spent Wednesday morning trying not to cry on public transportation. I really needed this video today. Sending all the good energy your way. Also, i make great soup. I need a soup shirt. It always comes with my homemade breads and biscuits.
I feel you. I cried on the commute so I wouldn’t cry at work- I argued with old white male coworkers instead, all morning. It was so disheartening. After work I went to my favourite café for some reading and went to buy another book and chatted with the shop owner. Community lifted my spirit so much. Wish I could come and taste one of your soups and breads to chat and find comfort together.
This video was the timely warm hug we all needed. It just hit me how difficult it must have been for you and Eddie to edit this video in the past week and see yourself in the past providing self-care ideas to get us all through everything. Thank you so much for all that you do in providing us all such a comforting safe space to return to, Ken. You’re helping to uplift so many of us, and your community here is so amazing and talented. Take care and stay safe, everyone. 🤎🫂
Now is a great time for extra self-care and taking the time for ourselves, as much as we need, to fill our cups back up. It's so important for each of us to do what we can for ourselves so we have enough to reach out to others who are in need and so we can give all the extra care and compassion to our loved ones. Spaces like these are so necessary. 💜
I have one of those foldable tables that are used to eat in bed, and my version of a makeshift cozy nook is lifting that up and putting it in the corner of my bed. I put my book, my knitting, my laptop and a cup of tea on my lil table and plop into bed and thats when you know its my cozy hobby time🌟😎
Thank you so much for this. Your videos are a part of my self care. I will be building a bubble of coziness around me to retreat to, recover and regroup.
Kennedy! 🌞Thank you for this video. I know most of us are feeling very stressed, lost, scared etc. I’m so happy to be able to watch your content during this time. You’re the light amongst the dark. 🤎✨

I been dealing with the most stressful situation of my life that has been on going for the past few months. Thank you for being there and supportive no matter what were going through. 💛
Due to personal & medical reasons, I have been out of work for a while. I always neglect the fact that I still deserve rest; I really appreciate that you always make a point of it. It truly makes the guilt I feel disappear. Thank you💓
not me crying while she tedtalks about how important friendships are bc i watched this video to find ways to cheer myself up bc i have social anxiety & really only have one friend :‘)
Walking Activity: My bestie and I go on “color walks”. We choose a color (say orange) and we point out everything we see that’s orange! Traffic cone, pumpkin, cat, chair, etc. It sounds silly but it’s quite entertaining 😁
One thing about those back rests you said remind you of college/dorm room set ups, is that they’re such a pain to move around imo. If you are going to have one and keep it in the same spot and use it all the time then it’s great. But if you’re someone (like me) who switches things up a lot, I find it cumbersome to move around and it’s always in my way. But it is super comfortable when I do use it.
My “sunlight lamp” makes a huge difference in my seasonal affective disorder. If you’re on the fence, get one! But make sure you use it properly, because it didn’t really work until I used it consistently and correctly. My routine: I have it right beside my bed, plugged into a smart plug. I use it as an alarm, with the time set around 6am during the week and 7am on weekends. It turns on while still laying in bed. When it goes of I place it right beside my pillow, like as close to my face as I can while not looking directly into it. Then I check the weather, read, or do the wordle on my phone, whatever, for 20-30 minutes. Then I start my day 😊. This was game changer for me, and I’d say this resolved about 80% of my SAD. I hope this helps someone ❤
im holding onto cozy hobbies even more so now. since tuesday I have gone back to comfort shows like Friends, watched a comfy 90s movie Shes all That for the first time and just turn my brain off making pizzas on Good Pizza Great Pizza. all of these are such good suggestions
Ughh yes you picked the best coping mechanisms! Maya and I just started Cook serve delicious 2, which is like a more hectic, co-op GPGP! 10/10 recommend!
I first found you when I was going through a rough breakup with my girlfriend. I started watching your videos and it was like I had a new bestie to teach me how to just relax even through one of the hardest times of my life. You are so beautiful and hardworking and amazing at what you do. Seriously, thank you so much for all that you do ❤
Kennedy, you and your channel are such a Light in this world - thank you. 🙏🏽 ☀️ I would love it if you could make a video where you share your tips on finding good new friends as an adult and also having moved to a new area. 🧡🧡
Ahhhh thank you you are literally my sense of community and I appreciate you showing yourself become emotional over the good things in your life because I feel thatttt
I absolutely adore your energy and I agree with you on the whole "environment"-stuff, like make your surrounding match your vibe to relax and the relaxation will come naturally! Stay healthy and keep up the good work Queen!
Okay I was not expecting this video to be so deep & inspiring 😢 I always adore your videos but this is one of my faves. I actually took away alot from it so thank you ☺️ xx
Thank you for suggesting the cute keyboard or voice notes for journaling. I have probably started five different journals and I just can’t keep up with it for whatever reason.
I just did a hike (it was a total of 11 miles) and as soon as I got home I turned this video on and had a bath and just relaxed. Thank you so much Ken 🤎
This is a lovely video! All of your videos are of course cozy and comforting, but I really needed these reminders and ideas right now. Thank you! How did you go about making new friends? It's something I really want to focus on but honestly have no idea how to go about it as an adult.
getting emotional over here w everything going on rn & i feel like this video is what we all needed. u have definitely made my year better and feel so so grateful to know u and have u in my life even if it’s just by being part of your online community. YOU ARE THE BEST 🤎
Every time you recommend a product, service or hobby I always give it a try (loving Factor btw). It really takes the decision fatigue out of choosing an activity. I bought the projector you recommended and had an amazing 3-hour bath😭 . So just, like thanks lol
Thank you!!! These videos help me so much, on top of everything going on rn- I am a workaholic, watching these always reminds me to take care of myself/ mental health. I need constant reminders to take a rest 😅
I tried digital journaling for a couple days and I absolutely love it! Typing on a nice keyboard definitely does more for me than the traditional pen and paper. I hope you make a "digital journal" video one day!! I'd love advice on all the different apps and and things you can use!
I’m not a walk hater, I’m a weather hater. The thought of going outside in Canada for the next 5 months makes me cry. I freeze quite easily, even during the summer months when it’s a bit windy, cloudy, or rainy. I am never ready for the impending ice and snow that happens every year. A three month vacation is my DREAM. But right now, anything helps. Thank you.
I ordered soup for dinner last night and also made it at home the two nights before that... soup does serve an important function and will always bring a light to my eyes. happy to see it included in this lovely vid 💕
I do full-day comfort show, I do it in the day I have to clean the house and then I go out, take some prepared food like ramen or pizza to put in the oven. I used to do this all the time when I lived alone at university since my flatmate always went back home and my home was the other side of the country 😅. God, I loved those days of cleaning+cozy comfort shows/film so much , I definetely was not having a great time at university and I swear those cozy days literally saved me 🥹
i loved this whole video- you are so nurturing & calming & cozy of course. better than therapy, honestly! can’t wait to incorporate virtually all of these into my winter 🥰
Omg blanket fort!! Please film yours, I want to see your creation!! Also, that entire soup section was hilarious I am dead. You are so ridiculous lmao. But wow I think I actually needed that soup permission pep talk and now I know what to do with my afternoon - MAKE SOUP.
THANK YOU FOR USING YOUR PLATFORM. We will always stand by you!!!!! Appreciate what you are doing. Please continue to talk politics as you feel able - you have an amazing voice and providing community to so many women who are terrified.
I bought a switch from watching your cozy games and I love it. I’m playing animal crossing and hogwarts legacy. I finished strange horticulture. Love your cozy content and vibe. Thanks for helping me get through seasonal depression
Thank you sm!! I feel like I'm beginning to notice a difference with the shorter days and feeling a bit down (especially if I get up late lol) I wrote a bunch of these down so hopefully I can plan some fun things for myself ✨
Love the sharing circle idea ❤❤❤ so good for everyone’s mental health especially when it’s intentional and sober! So when is the big cozy friend sleepover happening?? 😂 Thanks for the video! Great ideas 😊
sksk i literally save your weekly videos for my weekend bath bomb spa time and am commenting live from The Bath (tm) haahah. I love alllll of these! vibes immaculate, Kennedy, per usual.
happy with these ideas.the colder months are my Absolute fave and i will be intentionally incorporating the ideas you've listed. I do some of them but i'm gonna to schedule them in a planner for my overthinking brain lol especially the cozy nook idea! thanks K :)
@17:35 I used to hate walking too. but the other day my brain was going a million miles a minute and I combined your voiceover journal idea (heard it from one of your stardew playthroughs) with walking so i was quietly talking to my phone while getting some movement in my day and it felt so, so good also, in case you're afraid of looking crazy, it just looks like you're talking to someone on the phone lol. i just pretend like I'm ranting to a friend
If you don’t like soup try stew you can make it creamy or rich and the consistency can be what you want it to be. You can have some crunchy sourdough bread with it ect
I make soups at times because I'm lazy and don't like to cook 😂. A lot of them use the same ingredients in a way, so if you have the staples, you can always make a soup (and actually, I prefer to make mine thicker so they're actually filling, so I guess they're a stew). My main one is lentil "soup", but I add ground beef to it (I'll probably make this tomorrow). I also usually make a beer bread for it, because it's only like, three or four ingredients. I don't drink beer, so it does mean I have to buy a tall can of beer and then make two loaves with it (or else, if you live with someone who will drink the other half, give it to them. If you put it in an airtight cup/jar, you can save it for a few days and make that second loaf later on). I might instead this time just do regular sandwich bread and toast each slice, then add garlic butter to it. Sweet and simple 😊
I need to make me days more often, especially now…. Thanks for such comfort videos, I can’t tell you how many hobbies, comfort ideas, self care ideas you’ve provided….Thanks…🫶🏻🤓🕯️☕️
2025 Self care idea/goal for myself personally… learning Jiu-jisu to help release/heal anger, to feel more empowered of my self & body, and for my safety. Thank you CozyK for creating such a safe space! Hugs to everyone 💗✨. You are loved. You are light 🥰.

Thanks for this video, my father passed away two months ago and the weather is cold and rainy for a few days, so I'm not okay. I'll try your tips ❤
Peace for you.

happy with these ideas.the colder months are my Absolute fave and i will be intentionally incorporating the ideas you've listed. I do some of them but i'm gonna to schedule them in a planner for my overthinking brain lol especially the cozy nook idea! thanks K :)
this is a great list!❤
@17:35 I used to hate walking too. but the other day my brain was going a million miles a minute and I combined your voiceover journal idea (heard it from one of your stardew playthroughs) with walking
so i was quietly talking to my phone while getting some movement in my day and it felt so, so good
also, in case you're afraid of looking crazy, it just looks like you're talking to someone on the phone lol. i just pretend like I'm ranting to a friend
If you don’t like soup try stew you can make it creamy or rich and the consistency can be what you want it to be. You can have some crunchy sourdough bread with it ect
I feel similarly about stew sadly🫠
@@CozyK Fair enough! 🤣
Thank you so much Kennedy
So glad you posted 💕

you don’t know how much I’ve needed this, thank you so so much 💙
A❤❤❤wesomeness! Thank you for sharing 😊😊😊😊
Great ideas, lovely video as always ☺️🧡
