Your level of knowledge on cars is impressive. Not like other few. You deserve more subscriber and views. All the best. Hope I can have a fun drive with you someday.
Thank you! I've never seen myself as a proper car enthusiast - but I've always shown great interest towards rotary engineering since forever. I'm still far from an expert but it's definitely something that I'm passionate about which is enough to motivate me in learning more about my car and making it better than before. Thank you for the support! Do hit me up on Instagram if you want to join me for a drive. Everyone is welcomed!
Normal la wear & tear, is ok, at the bright side, it gives u a chance to fix it & have a greater feel of it after is done. Glad to see it's gives u a better ride after fixing it hehe
That is true! As tiring as it is to always fix something, I keep on getting happier than before whenever I get to drive Miyuki around. It's weird how some stuff like the engine mounts were able to solve multiple issues in a single fix. Definitely worth to get them replaced (when it's due).
Glad to see Miyuki operating in its best condition since your initial purchase! Idk why but it never occurred to me that the easiest way to test a thermostat in a workshop would simply be by placing it in a kettle which brings the question: Is that kettle specifically used for testing stuff or is it Ah Seong's personal multipurpose kettle? 🤔😂
I still get nervous whenever I turn the ignition to drive Miyuki (simply because when I fix 1 thing, 2 other things will break). That aside, it's all about seeing the brighter side of things and facing the challenges as I go. Now that you mentioned it, I do hope it is a kettle meant to test thermostats and boil other parts. I don't want my #1 trusted mechanic to be high on coolant all the time. 😂
always love seeing a car gets tlc and doing maintenance mods . sure it's not the most flashy thing to do but it's what really makes a difference when you drive it
Maintenance mods are not exactly exciting mods but they often do bring noticeable difference when it comes to drivability! I love how replacing a few parts were enough to make it drive like a totally different car. Here's hoping that I get the car at least one step closer to being a track-ready rotary machine in a year or two!
“So… malam ni, ada duit nak makan tak?” My lord that’s a very sad & honest question… that being said, keep your chin up Hariz! That smiles right after bringing her out from the workshop is worth starving for!! (I’m kidding, don’t skip meals bro)
Hahah, she knows me well enough that I tend to skip or cheap out on meals when I'm trying to stick to my budget and avoid from overspending. Thank you so much for the motivation! The joy of driving the car is definitely worth all the trouble but it's best to take good care of our health as well. Car parts can be replaced, our body can't do the same. ;(
Nope, I definitely do not suggest to get it if it is your first and only car. Get yourself a reliable daily, save up some funds - big enough to purchase an RX-8 as well as all the money needed to get parts replaced or the engine rebuilt if anything were happen throughout the course of your ownership. Learning as much as you can about rotaries is highly recommended and knowing how to fix certain things yourself will be a big bonus if you were to own one in the future.
What happened to your Mazda RX8 engine cannot start or battery problem or the starter wire.same problem with my father's Toyota Camry 1 week the car cannot start due to the starter wire.then my father called the towing truck for send this Camry to the workshop and the technician already upgrade the new starter wire and finally the Camry already start.this Toyota Camry incident were happened on Monday 15th of January 2024.
I actually mentioned everything about it from what happened and how I fixed it in the video. Never had any starting issues though but thank you for sharing your experience! Been wanting to upgrade my starter too (once it is weak).

Do you recommend the Rx8 as a first car?

How much did you spend in total?
It was slightly under 4000MYR (or 840 USD) if I recall correctly. The price of loving a car. 🥲❤️🩹
That’s not too bad tbh.
