I love how honest you are in your videos, you admit, ‘yes my space isn’t perfect, but I’m going to try because it’s important to my process.’ Thank you once again for inspiring me to change when I know I feel like I’m stagnating, and realising how many outside factors could be responsible.
Looks kind of like what I am struggling with - having to use the same room as living space, working space, art room...having to constantly rearrange things to be able to do what I need to do in that moment :) On another note, your videos are always such a pleasure to watch, you seem to have this peaceful and calm atmosphere around you.
I love the way the table legs turned out! I can totally feel you concerning the box of art supplies! I have found myself having to "break the seal" of more than one set. ;-D. I have also found myself feeling that I should market my skills as an art studio organizer on more than one occasion. ;-D The great thing about reorganizing is the rediscovery of materials that have slipped my mind. Even better, is the feeling of new purpose for my creativity. New avenues to explore, new branches of creativity that have been forgotten.... the twists and turns that come with being an artist can actually be so overwhelming that I find myself having to take notes detailed enough that I don't lose the essence of my inspiration!! It seems that I keep having to do these things at least every 2-3 years. I have to say that the new explorations, whether it be because of new technologies or new ways to use old ones (I'm a classically trained oil painter), keeps my creativity fresh and I remain open to all possibilities.
1:30= the pose we’ve all made when redecorating a room. I probably spend about 20% of my time, if not more, whenever I’m redoing a room in my house. Also, I have that exact same easel!
Rewatched it a couple times!!! And some of your old videos(the job-leaving and the dog-sitting ones) while sketching a building...SO LIBERATING....You are one of the best kind...LOveU
It's so satisfying to get clutter under control and have things find their own place. It's amazing how every time you move into a larger space, it still fills up so fast! I have to do clear-outs almost yearly now!
Dear Minnie, Congratulations on transforming your room! Facing the "stuff" is no easy task. Of course, the irony is as an artist, one is always creating more "stuff!" This was inspiring! Have a wonderful weekend! Best wishes, Dianna
The music stopped and I Became PARANOID... Checked the red timeline and my heart stopped...I sank in my bed AND WISHED...WISHED for the video to be of an hour long or more!!! SSSOOO THERAPEUTIC AND AWESOME ORGANISATION. THIS ROOM IS MY FAVOURITE EVEN WHEN MESSY....BelieveMe. LOveU
I LOVE your video so much! I'm currently re-arranging my own space as well since I still live with my parents and I have a room which acts as a bedroom, study space, work space and creativity space and I understand how difficult it can be to have one space for multiple purposes. You managed to redesign your room so beautifully AND functionally! You did a great job and inspired me to tackle the re-design in my own room, so thank you and enjoy your "new" space :)
Gracious, Minnie! The room looks absolutely amazing after all that organizing and, honestly, you have such a unique eye for room design for "The Artist" that no wonder it felt so inviting, inspiring, and motivating to be in there! The bright natural lighting in there makes it seem like it's like breathing fresh air in there! Plus, you look so cute in there looking like a little boss artist gal working hard in there! Im sure Oz was equally proud of you and happy about his new gaming space that you provided for him as well! Everything from the plants to that beautiful chair with the throw blanket on it was just perfect displayed and inviting and I couldn't be more impressed! Everything looks beautiful, Minnie! A well managed 4 day achievement!🤓👏🏾❤
Your windows/microsoft Studio screen amazes me everytime I see it haha. I totally get why you reorganised your room! We don't use our living room much so it always gets used as a room where we put things that we don't want to deal with. Then it gets so overwhelming that we stop going in there all together and let things pile up even more. Right now we've got all the stuff in there that we need to take to the tip...
I love how transparent you are with so many things you do! It is so reassuring to see you in your videos being all honest and natural! I am always so motivated and inspired by your work :) Thanks!!
Trapped in a similar bedroom/office/relaxation space/storage space because space is so expensive where I live, and this is definitely giving me some great ideas for how I can improve the flow of things! Thank you!
Wonderful Minnie, thank you for allowing us into your life. Yes, a cluttered space"constricts" creativity, I need to work on decluttering my 2 work areas(3)!!!! PEACE dear sister.
Magnificent job! A lot of work but will be so energizing and fuel productivity. I've got to tackle my art/storage room and make it less cluttered and more functional. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your decorating skills are excellent. It's nice to paint on 8:15. It's great to change and decorate the working environment. It's a place where you can draw pretty pictures.^^
I know how easy it is for me to procrastinate when not trying to film the process so i really respect you for ACTUALLY finishing the room And the video
I love what you've done with your studio...it seems to reflects the peaceful and vibrant way you approach your work...this video has given me so many ideas on how to reorganize my studio...thank you:-)
WOW...you looked beautiful (not that you don't normally but there was radiance) in the last shot...so that was a good rearranging of space that you did...
I live in a dorm and using the same table to eat, study, craft and art results in the table having a crapload of stuff that's not related to my current tasks. It can be distracting. This video is motivating me to clean my space up :) i love your vids!
I have watched and rewatched this video again and again during this covid-19 crisis. It has calmed me and has me try to arrange/organize our study/school room which is also a place where I hope can escape to doodle my art again..hard to find rest as a mother of 4 kidlets😊 Love your channel!
Please show your herb garden when you do it! I’d love to grow lots of herbs in my flat, so would love to see how you’re gonna go about it! Also, I love your videos, they always help give motivation to push through with my art x
Oh wow, I’m intrigued by the PanArt box-the paper looked gorgeous. Could you do a separate video on it? I’m unfamiliar with this company but like the idea. And did they supply paint as well?
this video is so inspiring...keeping it as a motivational video for whenever i need to remind myself of healthy ways to tackle large/daunting tasks, not to mention the absolutely beautiful editing...thank you, minnie!
Oh my I feel your pain. I am just in the process of decorating and then arranging my studio/music room. It’s at the stage of ‘shall I cry now’ at the moment. Thank you for the inspiration x
Was looking through youtube for art studio inspirations, and it's refreshing seeing one that's not already done. :) Well done with your reorganising, it looks fantastic.
What a beautiful space you ha e created. I love your honesty in showing what is normally off-camera. I am in the middle of cleaning and rearranging our family craft room, which has become a dump site for every placeless thing we have. Not at all conducive to creating, even if we had a cleared-off space in which to do so.😕
My studio turns into such a mess, because it‘s really small! I keep trying to find solutions that don‘t involve moving to a bigger place, but oh boy am I failing! Great that you managed to turn your space around! Oh, one day I‘ll get there too!
Really enjoyed this video Minnie, you’ve done a great job, thank you for sharing. The music you choose for your videos is nice, couldn’t help but add them to Spotify 😊😁💚...
I love your videos!! I've finally decided to get back into doing more Art and I'm in the process of moving to a small condo from a large apartment which I'll miss all the space, and I'm not even sure how to set up my workspace so happy to have found your videos!!🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼
God, I feel this so much.. I have very minimal storage in my tiny student room, but now I keep getting more stuff, so now everything is so full >.< I guess it's time for a big cleaning and organizing day here too. Love the way Ozzy's desk worked out btw!!
What a wonderful space! Have you been able to find any good ergo work chairs for your back pain? I had to get several assessments done at my work to help with my shoulder.
The struggle is real sometimes with spaces. I have a filming me area, a filming overhead area, computer/work/admin area, Mr. Winston area, storage area. I’m constantly rearranging and this is making me want to start all over again. Hahaha! Love the video, Minnie!
Great stuff Minnie. It’s such a huge relief when everything has been cleared and put in its right place. Every time I do my room I love spending time in there. So why do I not keep it that way all the time? 😱. Loved when you said you left the legs for Ozzie and then cut to you painting the legs 😂😂 also might have held my breath but then you said Herbs 🌿😂😂😂
I always forget that Oz doesn't see things like painting table legs as a treat or fun project (like I do 😂) he was certainly happy with the result though!
Inspired me to do my own office. Inktober starts tomorrow and I need to keep my space clear so I’m inspired for these daily drawings. Thanks Min, beautifully made video as usual.
“It’s potentially gonna be the room we start our ..”
Me: family?
“..herb garden.”
Me: EVEN BETTER!
Hahaha! I had the same reaction!
😂
The amount of beautiful natural light in your art space...I’m a bit jealous 😍
Me Too!!
I know right! 🙌
It's the brightest room in the flat by far and it still knocks me back every time I walk in here 😊
I love how honest you are in your videos, you admit, ‘yes my space isn’t perfect, but I’m going to try because it’s important to my process.’
Thank you once again for inspiring me to change when I know I feel like I’m stagnating, and realising how many outside factors could be responsible.

It forces us to be creative with our spaces, doesn't it ;) Thank you!
I was gonna clean my room but Minnie updated and I dropped everything to watch her clean...😂
I get it...I did that yesterday for two of her videos then I fell asleep!!LOL
@@ghanshyamsingh3653 I was wondering if it's weird that I'd rather watch her clean that do it myself. I guess not. 😅
LOL! 😂 All of you, go and do what you're supposed to be doing 👉
Guilty. I love her vlog and how to Playlists while I'm painting.

Yes! 💪 We're on a roll!
I don't know how I missed this video, but it's all for the best because I'm tidying and rearranging my studio and this is perfect companionship
What a lovely transformation! And it has room for both of you. Wonderful.

So pretty
Loved this, what a great space. Our space room acts as our attic and is full of... stuff... Not even sure where to start on that one.
We're trying our best to spread all our 'stuff' in any little bit of space we have around the flat, but it just builds up! Impossible, isn't it!
