I am looking forward to your review of the InMotion L9. In the meantime I have a suggestion to include an additional range test to your testing so that we can get an apples to apples comparison. Currently your range tests involve riding at full speed whenever possible, but this obviously penalises faster scooters as range reduces with increased speed. It would be nice to also include a range test when riding at 25kph/15mph as this is the legal maximum in most countries and then we can also see how much range is realistic with each scooter when riding them in the same manner at normal legal riding speeds. I realise this is a lot of extra work, but its something to consider in future reviews because customers can then compare apples to apples. It would be nice if the industry would quote their ranges in this way rather than how they currently do (15kph speed at 25 deg C on flat ground with 70kg rider and no wind) which is totally unrealistic. With cars we usually get mileage quoted on urban/56mph/75mph speeds to get a good idea of how well they perform under different conditions. Just some things to consider and I understand this may be asking too much, so no worries :=). You have the best information source and channel for anyone looking to buy a scooter, so keep up the good work.
Your persistent screen graphic stats are well done. Good compliment to the reviews.

Quoting company specs ? Showing pictures and video of media releases ? My scooter would eat all but the Thunder, on a par. I could throw this together in about a day.
From a psychological point of view it’s interesting how people tend to vote based on emotions rather than utility... The big scooters like the Wolf and the Thunder are among the least versatile for commuting and are more for joy riding on weekends but they have a much bigger emotional impact and scored the best, while some of the most versatile scooter like the etwow V or GT are not even there...
is it really so surprising to see irrational creatures capable of forming emotional attachments vote without putting too much thought into a scooter survey?
You're right. It's interesting. When I made my choice, I didn't want to spend an enormous amount of money. I wanted a last mile solution. It was a combination of price, weight (low), range, weight capacity (I'm pretty portly), and build quality. So with those factors you should be able to calculate a sweet spot. I ended up with a $250 Swag 5 elite. I won't know if this was a good solution for a year or so but I like it well enough.
Dennis Mathias a lot of people start like this, I started with a $350 one 6 years ago, one year later I almost put $1000 and now I have several scooters at different prices points and for differet purposes... Some people will stop at the entry level, others will stop using a scooter and others will climb the quality spectrum and even have several (sometimes expensive) scooters...
Digitalguy; The scooter hobby is an addictive one and I have gone quickly high end. I have 3 scooters at an investment cost of $7000.00 and growing...rapidly. I want a RION next!!!
Mavis Vdv had one too, but sold it last summer. Not because it’s not good, because it’s too good. It’s a real monster scooter, unfortunately too dangerous in a crowded city like Vienna.. couldn’t limit myself or the scooter... always full throttle ;) stay safe and always wear your helmet on this beast!
@@Ancorarte I sold it with pain in the heart. Here in Belgium it's illegal to have these kind of (unlimited) high powered scooters. But what really drove me off was that you'll need a separate insurance for these things which wasn't in the past.
Zero 8 is not on the list but it's very similar to Zero 9. Would you recommend Zero 8 over the Xiaomi M365 Pro riding in a city? I know they have a big gap in pricing but is the pricing difference worth paying for the suspension?
Wow - this is fantastic. The amount of work that went into this is incredible. E.S.G. = the definitive guide ( bar none ). Thanks for sharing all the info.
Which is better and which one should I buy? The Emove Touring, Turbowheel Swift, or the Horizon? It's a very hard decision because they are all fairly similar.
Very informative report. As we own an M365Pro that my eldest loves, I bought another Xiaomi M1 Swiss edition for the youngest. Both on sale, the later purchase for just under USD400. I bought a heftier scooter with 120kg capacity for myself (103Kg)...to keep up with the kids. A rear wheel drive (500W, 13,500 MaH, IPS 54) OBARTER X1. For USD 690 (AliExpress), this scooter is IMHO a BEAST. Suspension front and rear, disk brakes front and rear, plus regen break. VG range. Hard to beat at this price, considering all of the features.
Glad my scooter made the list, 200 miles on fluid horizon, very impressed, I regularly get 25mph on full charge then 22 to 23 mph. Also 20miles per charge consistently.
I’m a thunder rider for over year now. I would actually recommend the wolf warrior over the Thunder just because it is more durable, better suspension, has a horn, and headlights. The only downside is it cannot fold up as tight as the Thunder for transport. It also cost substantially less. Same motors, battery, and controllers. Great review!
I'm reading the manual for the thunder (haven't bought it yet) and I don't see it having turn signals. Does it? I refuse to believe a scooter over three thousand dollars lacks what $1,500 scooters have.
GOTRAX is the best bang for your buck! I've been through 3 of em! They all still work 👌 except for the Jetson electric scooter.. it broke were ya fold it up, after so many times of folding they DO break & the wires will split.. so I don't fold em unless I have to.
Nanrobot should have made the cut. I own the d5+ and love it! One of the best purchases I have ever made(I'm 40 yrs old). If your looking to find a way to commute or just get around town easily buy a scooter. You get what you pay for.
I’m a newcomer to scooters. Don’t have one, want to buy. I really like the layout of the information in the video. Thanks, I’m going to watch some more of your videos and see what I come up with. Thanks again!

I have the hover 1 pioneer and I must say it's awesome at $159 bucks I paid for it with a top speed of 23mph I'm so happy with it . Disc breaks and for me personally 7 miles in range.
Hello. Please, I have a question about an electric scooter from the Vsett brand, model 10+ (20.8AH / 2 X 1400W). If you want to compare it with the competition, will you be able to place it in your TOP 13 electric scooters ?! Thank you for your time!
Wow, looks like this is more of a list that puts beast scooters on top. Obviously fanatics that blow their budget on scooters with the price of small cars will prefer many of these scooters more than people looking for reliable, affordable and portable transportation. To date, the best all around e-scooter is still the Segway Ninebot ES4. It’s light, reliable, sleek, 28 mile range, plenty of lighting for safe night time commuting, dual shocks, LED screen, solid tires, dual brakes and excellent speed; all at a price that won’t break the bank. Yet, it didn’t even make the list even though Xiaomi 365 is known for breaking at the stem, breaking down in the rain and having constant issues with flat tires. They made the list not once but twice. Great job guys!
Glad to see the ZERO SERIES represented here. The ZERO 9 & 10X are simply amazing. The ZERO 9 should be on everyone’s list for entry level scooter. Damn is she pretty at night! My next E-Scooter is the 10X. The speed and incredible suspension are to beat. Get them Both thru REV RIDES and you will get the best service in the industry.
I was looking at the Zero 9 and 10 for a week now. but for my needs, I realized the 9 is more for me. And with the coupon code bringing it less than $1,000, seems good.
Looks like my own review of the 10X has radically changed. I wrote this review before I even OWNED a 10X (as mentioned) My opinion was based off ALL OF THE OVERHYPED REVIEWS! My current review is the accurate review for the 10X with the largest battery available. REV RIDES service is incredible, that has not changed!
ive been jealous to those people who has scooter, ive been watching a lot of videos on this yet still wishing to have one congrats to those who had these
In my country Emove Cruiser is not being sold as of right now, it is the sweet spot. Instead of that one i got myself an Inokim OX, can't regret it, specially in the looks and range department.
Electric Scooter Guide i live in Chile, we only have minimotors, zero and inokim here. There is also budget brands like ninebot and such but there aren’t many options in the 1000$+ price point. We also don’t have Kaabos, for example. Inokim Ox is the best scooter i’ve seen as far as looks, my only complaint is that they do not have tubeless tires, but it is just a small caveat.
I have had my M365 for 4 years now and i am still enjoying it. Through the years i did think of upgrading but utility wise and my usage i do not think that i need an upgrade.
I personally love the OX...very underrated scooter since the specs are not great for the price. But for when I'm not looking to race, this is my scooter of choice. ruclips.net/video/Xq-AUxI7sOA/видео.html
@@v-mp3305 wow expensive! I got a wide wheel pro 2020 dual motor with biggest battery for 950eur. Really love it. Do you think the money is wort it? After all its single motor
I bought the Horizon based on your review and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately the scooter I wanted to upgrade to is not on the list being the Zero 8X. However the 10X is pretty high on the list so I feel fairly confident that since the 8X has a lot of what I’m looking for it will be a good choice Once I decide to purchase a new scooter.
Electric Scooter Guide Thanks for the response. if you don’t mind me asking, for someone like me who doesn’t want to deal with flat tires and doesn’t mind a more bumpy ride, would the 8X be a good option? I’m Even considering the Emove cruiser for its long range, as that is very important to me, but I’ve also heard the 26 amp hour version of the 8X can go 40+ miles on a single charge. I will take a bit less range so I don’t have to deal with flat tires but you are the expert and I would love your opinion.
I was very interested in the Top 13 for 2021 and enjoyed the report a lot. OTOH its not a review for commuters and I would appreciate a review on ‘Last Mile’ scooters. Considering what would be important to me in particular in order of priorities for me: Weight / foldability (I have to lift it in and out of my car and I am an older woman) Power for hills (I work/live in a relatively hilly place, small hills but hills nonetheless) Price (obvious enough) Security (Ability to lock into place to fixed object and keyed on/off) Accessories (I would like to use my scooter for the occasional shopping expedition or visit to a friend/family etc so a small trailer would be handy or even a dog trailer so I could take my small dog with me) Tires (Not so important as I don’t off road etc but the tyres need to be puncture resistant as my previous scooter was constantly having tire repairs due to screws etc from my work commute and that got old and expensive) cheers for the good work!
Awesome. I currentky have M365 PRO and I really want Kaboo Mantis PRO. Sad thing is that M365 PRO still stay as my daily driver because it can survive rains like nothing. But Kaboo mantis is full of holes :D. Only for sunny days :D.
Kaabo Wolf Warrior is the best machine on this list BY FAR! I own the Zero 10X with the largest battery offered and I have a Zero 9 which is fantastic for what it is; A great scooter to learn on or for your kids. A 10 year old can ride a Zero 9. The 10X out of the box is a dangerous scooter I’m sorry to say. I have a steering damper on order which I do think will clear up some of it’s front end shenanigans, but stock watch out! The power is definitely there to get you in a heap of trouble and fast. Steering is twitchy and dangerous. The front end has way too much flex. On the positive side the aforementioned power is definitely there but you can’t use it because the front end. The Zoom branded brakes are fantastic and will pull you down from speed in a hurry. I do not understand why Zero did not put those excellent LED lights along both sides of the board like the Zero 9 has. With that said the low mounted front and rear lights are bright and look cool. The whole scooter looks very cool. I want to love the 10X and I’m hoping that the steering damper will clear up most of the front ends major issues. If you have ever ridden a Kaabo Wolf Warrior, then you know what a properly set up front end feels like. You also will know what a properly sorted suspension feels like. The trampoline effect you get on the 10X ain’t cool. I am going to have to modify the stock shocks front and rear as well. The standard springs and dampers are comfortable and soak up bumps great at under 25MPH speeds. The 10X also jumps high curbs with ease. But that soft suspension becomes a serious detriment at anything above 25MPH where the soft suspension becomes dangerous. There is that word again: dangerous. This 10X has my brain split in two. Just an analogy folks... Part of me really likes her but part of me says that she was taken out of the oven before fully cooked. It’s an unfinished piece. I intend to engineer all the bad out of her and I think I will be left with a great looking, fast, stable at speed scooter.....for the same price or actually MORE MONEY than a Kaabo Wolf Warrior out of the box. So if there is only one to choose from the choice is obvious: The Kaabo Wolf Warrior is king of the scooter mountain top and when you figure in its price, well that makes it a STEAL!
Thanks for your detailed comment above. I'm in the UK and in the process of going from my single motor Zero 10 and looking to go dual motor and better suspension. I had Kaabo Mantis Pro, Dualtron Eagle Pro, Zero 10X 60v 21amp, Vsett 10+ and Apollo Phantom on my list available from reputable stores in the UK. I think the trampoline effect you mention as well as poor front end will cross the 10X off my list. You have to pay £65/$85 for the triple stem clamp to fix the flexy stem out of a brand new box which is unacceptable imo. my list is probably Vsett 10+ (£2100), Mantis Pro (£1750) and Apollo Phantom (£1900) The Daultron Eagle with poor creaking stem is a bit of a put off. Once again thanks for the detailed summary of your Zero 10X experience.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide cool thanks! I basically just need a scooter to get to work 4 days a week, I don’t live very far only like 2 miles so I won’t be beating on it or using it everyday all day. Just need an affordable and reliable scooter that’ll get me to point A to point B haha
Aren't most of these too fast to use without a driving licence? I heard the speed limit is 25km/ph in most EU countries? Have you got a list of scooters that can be used without a license?
Appreciation from the rest of the world for the Metric conversion of the weight and range, but will help if you also do the same for Top speed and Acceleration.
I agree. Some reviews from other channel are using imperial/metric for sake the of the viewer. Who the fvck in the world have the patience to convert while watching , definitely not me.

Questions regarding the usage of high performance scooters like these. What do they qualify as on roads? Secondly What are the long-term maintenance cost/requirements. And lastly, how do people address the practical concerns of these scooters such as putting them in one's vehicle, going to the coffee shop/grocery store and preventing them from being stolen?

i come from the motorcycle racing world, just now getting into high end scooters. the problem i see is PRE-ORDER! I dont mind giving a few thousand dollars for a nice performance scooter, but im not gonna wait for months with a pre- order... this is whats keeping me from buying some of the high end scooters now...oh and the (sold out) every time i go to buy one.
To answer the question in a visual way, this is my best eScooter for all the essential reasons( Still tweaking it a bit, for now) and I wish you all a good day :-) ruclips.net/video/heHz_rplk4M/видео.html
Avoid the Pink version of the V2 - serious quality control issues. Back wheel assembly was wobbly on mine so it grinded against the pads constantly, significantly reducing battery life (drag). I’ve talked to multiple people with the same problem on the Pink.
None of them are waterproof. But you're right, no IP rating means definitely don't make a habit of riding it in the rain. These are my favorites for rain riding. electric-scooter.guide/best-rated/top-scooters-riding-rain/

Great video, but unsure where the price tag for the Ninebot Max was taken from (that price tag is for the newer Max G30LP, which is not the one you show here), just figured I'd mention it here.

Great video Chuck. What scooter would you recommend for an 8yr old girl.
In my country Emove Cruiser is not being sold as of right now, it is the sweet spot. Instead of that one i got myself an Inokim OX, can't regret it, specially in the looks and range department.
Cruisers are coming to countries all over the world. What country do you live? Also the OX is one of the most under-appreciated scooter IMO.
I have Inokim oxo, its a power beast 2x1000w 2wd. Hydraulic disc brakes, max. Speed up to 65kmh, but gps showed even 76. 😃 what a wonderful machine.
Can’t wait to see where the Apollo Explorer fits into this list when it gets more global traction
Have a feeling it might make into next year's list. Have you seen our review: ruclips.net/video/T8R54mp57UU/видео.html
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Isn't appolo explorer just a rebranded zero 10?
@@corsinivideos yup its a zero10x
And apollos city is their take on the zero 9.
I have had my M365 for 4 years now and i am still enjoying it. Through the years i did think of upgrading but utility wise and my usage i do not think that i need an upgrade.
Ayyyyye! My homie made #5 😸
Watching this makes me want a 10X next once my G30 training wheels are off!
Yea - go for it. We love the 10X geni.us/IaBkXX
Just ordered Inokim OX super.. i hope it is good?
I personally love the OX...very underrated scooter since the specs are not great for the price. But for when I'm not looking to race, this is my scooter of choice. ruclips.net/video/Xq-AUxI7sOA/видео.html

Is there a top 10 for end of the year? Looking for a workhorse that has the range and handles nyc roads /weather
Awesome review kind sir...I have the ninebot max, and after 3000 miles I finally got something broken, the rear fender.
Great to hear! Yea, the 8X didn't make the list, but the 10X is definitely a favorite for so many riders around the world. geni.us/IaBkXX
I bought my Fluid Freeride Horizon based on this video and your site. Looking forward to trying it!
Amazing video!
Thank you so much
Thank you! -Paul
I was very interested in the Top 13 for 2021 and enjoyed the report a lot. OTOH its not a review for commuters and I would appreciate a review on ‘Last Mile’ scooters. Considering what would be important to me in particular in order of priorities for me:
Weight / foldability (I have to lift it in and out of my car and I am an older woman)
Power for hills (I work/live in a relatively hilly place, small hills but hills nonetheless)
Price (obvious enough)
Security (Ability to lock into place to fixed object and keyed on/off)
Accessories (I would like to use my scooter for the occasional shopping expedition or visit to a friend/family etc so a small trailer would be handy or even a dog trailer so I could take my small dog with me)
Tires (Not so important as I don’t off road etc but the tyres need to be puncture resistant as my previous scooter was constantly having tire repairs due to screws etc from my work commute and that got old and expensive)
cheers for the good work!
I’m enjoying the M365 Pro 2 for the first time using e scooters. Have never moved around so chillin in life!!
M365 or pro?
@@arinabolot566 pro👍
You have to pay £65/$85 for the triple stem clamp to fix the flexy stem out of a brand new box which is unacceptable imo.
my list is probably Vsett 10+ (£2100), Mantis Pro (£1750) and Apollo Phantom (£1900)
The Daultron Eagle with poor creaking stem is a bit of a put off.
Once again thanks for the detailed summary of your Zero 10X experience.
Great review but I would put the Fluid Freeride Horizon over the Segway Max tho because of the speed power and suspension

Anny suggestion for max 600$ budget for a 190 cm and 110 kg man? Was looking for the Kugoo M2 Pro or the Youping Q02. What do you think 🤔
Great way to see the review of these! Really helped. What do you think of the Apollo Ghost 👻?
I'm a big fan of the Ghost. Amazing bang for the buck. Its incredible up hills. -Paul
Always enjoy ur videos Chuck!

Does any offroad scooter have better ip klass than 44?
If you get mud att your Nanrobot D6+ and must wash it?🤔
Aren't most of these too fast to use without a driving licence? I heard the speed limit is 25km/ph in most EU countries? Have you got a list of scooters that can be used without a license?
the Emove has got to be the winner imo... affordable at 1399 can legit as tested go 50 miles on a charge...built like a tank..... I think i want one
Appreciation from the rest of the world for the Metric conversion of the weight and range, but will help if you also do the same for Top speed and Acceleration.
Thank you for the 9nfo

Come on now bruh...google works everywhere

Questions regarding the usage of high performance scooters like these. What do they qualify as on roads? Secondly What are the long-term maintenance cost/requirements. And lastly, how do people address the practical concerns of these scooters such as putting them in one's vehicle, going to the coffee shop/grocery store and preventing them from being stolen?
Hiboy s2 pro?
We haven't tested it yet, but the S2 is one of our top 6 best cheap scooters, and I expect that the Pro will make both lists the next time we do them. electric-scooter.guide/best-rated/best-cheap-electric-scooters/

Excellent info and review. I will buy the Gotrax ...to try.
Have you released the info collected on scooters that didn't make the list? Trying to get real world info on the Hiboy S2 or Max.
Really surprised the eMove Cruiser was rated so low. Maybe a lot of the responses were for the older model.
Emove touring makes a ton of top tens
i come from the motorcycle racing world, just now getting into high end scooters. the problem i see is PRE-ORDER! I dont mind giving a few thousand dollars for a nice performance scooter, but im not gonna wait for months with a pre- order... this is whats keeping me from buying some of the high end scooters now...oh and the (sold out) every time i go to buy one.

Avoid the Pink version of the V2 - serious quality control issues. Back wheel assembly was wobbly on mine so it grinded against the pads constantly, significantly reducing battery life (drag). I’ve talked to multiple people with the same problem on the Pink.
"this is not a fake review". That means we can trust it folks, glad that was clear in the video.

How is it when going uphill?

None of them are waterproof. But you're right, no IP rating means definitely don't make a habit of riding it in the rain.
These are my favorites for rain riding.

Great video with tons of information for people to have a foundation for when they decide to shop for an electric scooter. Maybe the next video could one for elite electric scooters like....Xtron, Rion,Weped and so on....maybe it can be a video of scooters of over $3000. Just an idea 🧐
Great video, but unsure where the price tag for the Ninebot Max was taken from (that price tag is for the newer Max G30LP, which is not the one you show here), just figured I'd mention it here.
How are you able to hit 28 mph on the Zero9? I can only do 24 full battery 150lbs.
Speed on display is inaccurate out of the box on zero 9.
The video was great! In Japan, you can't easily ride an Electric scooters yet. The law is troublesome. I'm looking forward to the video! With love from Japan :)
