I secretly hope that the Devs were inspired by the Marvel series Legion. That show really did the whole "something creepy lurking around in your insanity" thing well.
Im worried that it's going to be like synthesis all over again. With so complicated builds and mechanics, that only high end players will be able to interact with it as intended
Yep, it's the same thing... very complicated stuff that people have no use for ... Man, even legion jewels was so very complex that also many people didn't even want to touch them
I've listened to a few of these thought videos and one thing I never see anyone bring up is the horrible lag that has been going on since Betrayal. I understand the influencer's all have super computer's, or at least above average, for the job. I used to play hardcore all the way up to Delve. And I could even run the game at it's highest settings. But with every league since Betrayal interacting with just about any mechanic is a brutal lag storm. And it's so weird. The game is fine up until act6. But from act 6 onward it's a mess. I swear if I am mapping and I am forced to eat a death just to start the mechanic I am done until optimization league.
Yea I played on ps4 for a while hoping it would be better since its a static piece of hardware they have to optimize for, the game crashes constantly, and there is some weird graphical glitch at least once per hour. When you can't even get your shit to run smoothly for even one hour of play on a console that's saying something.
Have a gtx 770. Only time I lag is first days of a new league, Betrayal and hundreds of blight monsters on screen at the same time. Not many options to increase performance but lower the graphics and reduce content on screen from the games side.
If you don't have a solid state drive do yourself a favor and get one. It makes the game run buttery smooth, and increases your load speed significantly. Not to mention storage is getting dirt cheap, you can pick up 1 terrabyte for ~100 dollars. And it's an investment that will benefit you for anything you do on your computer.
I would think bladefall would be better for that tbh, with BV you rely on mobs either being right on top of you or behind where you’ve already been. I guess it depends on how good the new skill is, but I think it’d be similar to that pyroclast mines build with the ring that makes your spells auto-target the nearest enemy.
based on the description, "cannot use gloves, main hand OR offhand weapons" means that we can use gloves and a shield. or gloves and one weapon. or two weapons and no gloves. meaning, this item is...... kinda OP unless they change it, or they worded it confusingly.
I'm pretty sure they mean all of the above, otherwise it would be beyond broken. English is just a weird language when it comes to how we use negatives in lists I think 😅
@@nathanbrotherbob that's what I think too, but it says "or" so one can..... Hope? Idk, if it is only one item missing thts insane, and will be a 100ex item lul
If you have doubts, just imagine this: 1000 dex + 750% facebreakers + this jewel. Base 1400-2000 phys damage means at least 11900-17000 hit damage without any other bonuses, without STR and everything. And it still would hit alot faster than regular facebreaker attack.
@@Keexdt Hollow Palm only activates while you're Unarmed. Unencumbered requires you to not be holding any weapons, shields, or using gloves. So you're dual wielding via the modifier overriding your status, but because you're not holding weapons, you're also Unarmed. Interestingly, this means you can block without weapons, and benefit from Dual Wield Block increases.
I'm doing no trade but the game is kinda balanced around it with most key uniques being out of the reach of mortal players. Even more so as we only play "league". I fear there will only be more of this with the elusive cluster jewels which will have to drop just right to be worthwhile. So while in theory it would be nice to have a diversity in endgame OP builds because of different trees everyone might just buy off the exact jewels. But I'm not playing a game to farm currency that's called a regular day job.

I think its nice they go into another direction with this league and can't wait to see how it all works altrough i do get the inpression the game's learning curve wich is already steep will get even steeper with this update. As for the boss, i think u will actually face a augmented version of your current character, since simulacrum means something like a fake clone so it would fit right in.
This was my first impression too. I remember the old Zelda II: The Adventure of Link boss. Perhaps something along those line. We are entering a mirror after all.
its gonna be terrifying with how expensive end gmae content gets. every new player and every good player will need a single map farmer character dedicated just ot speeding the acts and getting to AL8 imo. so u can GET loot to afford all the crazy stuff thatll awaken haha. i CANT WAIT !!!! ok rant over. fyi metamorph was my second league and tihs is the mentality of a person who only made it to lv 90 and died like 768 times on that char. also only ever had like 25ex net funds hahahahaa
I was going to go SSF but after hearing about these Jewels it almost makes me feel like I can't go SSF if my build ends up requiring a notable from a specific jewel mod. Unless they are easy to roll?
First, love your videos. Second, I hope you find this helpful, but I wanted to let you know that you are using the word "stipulate" incorrectly. You said "if I had to stipulate", and in context I assume that you mean "if I had to guess" or "if I had to predict", but that isn't what stipulate means. A stipulation is something that is usually part of a deal/negotiation, like a term, condition, requirement, demand, etc. To stipulate something is to make that requirement, demand, condition, term, etc. known. For instance, the proper context for a quote like "if I had to stipulate something" might be a sentence like "If I had to stipulate something in this deal, it would be that no one risks their health to accomplish our goal, or that the split of the loot is 60/40, my way, or that travel expenses are provided by the employer, or that there is fresh fruit in the green room as part of my contract rider." So stipulate isn't a synonym for guess or predict, it is more a synonym for demand or require (and usually in the context of a deal/negotiation). Also, as a bit of an aside, you can stipulate something, but also certain inanimate and somewhat abstract things can also stipulate, like saying "the pre-nup stipulates that adultery negates any joint asset division that might otherwise occur..." So in that way you can think of it as similar to the verb "states", because you could say that "the president often states that...", but it doesn't always have to be an animate/living being doing the action of the verb, because you could also say "the Constitution states that...". Anyway, again, this was meant to be helpful/informative. It wasn't a complaint or attack. I like your videos so far, and have found them helpful/informative, so when I saw the opportunity to return the favor, I took it. I too have misused words before, and some people can be dicks about how they correct you, so I hoped to help you avoid embarrassment, or an argument with someone seeking to belittle you for a simple and common mistake. Also, it never hurts to be more clearly understood when communicating (at least with your intended audience).
My biggest fear for this league is that the league start guides will be all over the place and bait me into playing something terrible XD That and the PoB developer(s) commiting sudoku.
Trade leagues will thrive and SSF are definealtly going to be much, much more interesting. On the part you are reffering to Enigma, I believe it might have something to do with Lunaris and Solaris instead to deal with the in game lore.
KINETIC BLAST YES! but time ot spend my life savings on mtx for it hahahaha. YES! might even try to reinvent storm burst trickster style builds or cobra lash inot this new skill. not good but i dont have to be good to have fun wahoooo
I believe you are mistaken about the Unencumbered mechanic. Remember words are extremely important in path of exile. They have comma's and the final word is OR, not AND. This means that as long as ONE of those slots is empty you get this bonus. Meaning empty mainhand, empty offhand, or no gloves (1 of the 3) gives you the bonus. A buff that allows you to select what gear piece you wish to sacrifice to gain this immense powerup. I believe this to be true because of one word difference, and until that word is fixed / changed, I am going to holdout on a buff to facebreaker builds, empty offhand builds, and missing glove builds (which would technically mean bows can get dual wielding and block chance nodes).
I feel more and more like skill tree respecs need to become much cheaper though. I understand that it's a sensitive topic for most players, hardcore veterans are often like "just quickly level a new char to try something new, or just quickly buy a few dozen orbs of regret". With these new Jewels though, it will be much more common that you are running a few maps, and find some unique expansion of your skill tree which might make you reconsider your whole build. And what if you just decide to swap the jewel for a slightly better one... Will it refund the points, or do you need to use orbs of regret for those too?
metamorph was all over the place... for some reason the map metamorphs had insane one hit kill potential, but those in the lab were utterly weak. Loot was not too impressive either... Maybe it was the map mods making them actually dangerous and in tha lab they did not have them, but that would be completely overdue for a rework anyway?
Why you sad? It is conditional. If you dont use main hand you can use gloves like Facebreakers. Just pick one: dont use gloves or main hand or off-hand.

Why the fuck would you be planning a build around unknown jewels? Just pick something you like and use new information about the jewels to supplement what you are playing. Also unlike legion jewels, youll be able to search mods, making it far easier to buy
League looks neat, however I do have some obvious worries: With 280 new notables, it's almost guaranteed GGG fucked up in interactions between passives / items / skills - sort of like the time they didn't let nodes that increased Shield defenses not affect Spectral Shield Throw. Hopefully most of these have been accounted for, but knowing GGG I doubt it. GGG said Delirium is supposed to "enhance" previous content, and while a part of me hopes that this means they'll actually interact with eachother I'm more inclined to believe it's another lazy "more monsters and a bit of extra loot" thing. Not saying it's bad by any means, just that it's not going to be actual interaction between the Rooms of the temple or members in Betrayal and the Delirium mechanic - only more loot. Delirium bringing up fog looks like it'll make ground effects horrible to be seen - but I'll wait for some video footage before making any judgements. New notable cluster jewels look like they'll be a pain to use and craft. Not sure at what point will be sacrificing 10+ skill points be worth it rather than go for nodes on the tree that you KNOW will be useful to you and it will simply make build creators have even more headaches. Doubt most build creators enjoy items like these or the Legion jewels ("just get the jewel with seed number 59285") and the fact that these things that change from player to player keep coming over isn't a particularly good sign to me - and another way GGG has to fuck over casual players who don't have the time or willingness to bust out their math degree and calculate whether it's better to path for the wheel on the tree or use that new shiny jewel they just got. Personally, I'd rather they dropped corrupted and dropped more often as a way to remove baiting people into trying to craft them, but as that's more of a personal opinion can't let it spoil the overall feel of the League. GGG has only shown one end-game encounter - which admittedly is one more than Metamorph had, but it still doesn't feel that special. Hopefully there's more than one variation. League does look quite nice though all things considered. Hopefully GGG makes it through without nerfing Necromancers and I might eventually consider buying a supporter pack again since Incursion.
no its like breach, you just hit it at the beggining of the map and it lasts a minute or so. it modifies monsters already there and adds extra monsters on top, similar to map bosses like shaper influence does.
Overcomplicated game that i can't play anymore, will complete new story mode in poe2 but that's it, every build i try dies in 1 hit at some point in end game.. and its annoying to sped massive amount of time to build character with so many expensive items and with all that to die like nothing.
some modifiers in T15-T16 maps will 1shot any build unless you have some good defense layers.... its all about dodging everything and kill before you get killed or play super tanky build but clear maps in 10mins instead of 2.... and yes pushing your build towards its limits requires tons of currency and without spending much time farming you will never get it there and keep getting 1shot due to lack of proper gear...

So I'm new to this game and started a standard league with the hunter and I'm now lvl 30. Should i start fresh with the Delirium league or does it really matter? Am i restricted from playing with people in other leagues?
Finally, I get to play as baran
but holy actual crap !!! this is just way too dynamic for me too! all thje resource spaming and such could be unreal fun end game potential, so the league might last a long time for fun. but mannnnnnn this is ginna be insanly hard to find "good" buiulds! but so much fun! the STARTER BUILDS for the league are going to take on a whole new meaning. its gonna be all about speeding through leveling and getting to mapping with fast clear to farm gems to CREATE A DIFFERENT end gmae build. rather than eventualy turning your starter INTO your endgamer imo. this will be amazing. i hope my irl life is structured well enough so that i cna truly enjoy this league for once
I secretly hope that the Devs were inspired by the Marvel series Legion.
That show really did the whole "something creepy lurking around in your insanity" thing well.
dear god i hope not
With the new Stormbind skill, I think it´s time for your Mana Templar as league starter ;D
"You can achieve permanent adrenaline and fortify if you're hitting a boss"

Oh No
I hope essence drain contagion is gonna be viable again I loved that build
@zone s Pcs are expensive tho, not everyone can just go and "buy" one jeez
This would be the league to start BV chieftain with the new bladblast skill xD
I would think bladefall would be better for that tbh, with BV you rely on mobs either being right on top of you or behind where you’ve already been.
I guess it depends on how good the new skill is, but I think it’d be similar to that pyroclast mines build with the ring that makes your spells auto-target the nearest enemy.
I just want they Yin & Yang armor set. Hopefully they will put it as a core package or something.
based on the description, "cannot use gloves, main hand OR offhand weapons" means that we can use gloves and a shield. or gloves and one weapon. or two weapons and no gloves. meaning, this item is...... kinda OP
unless they change it, or they worded it confusingly.
Why would an item themed around hitting people with your bare hands allow you to hit people with a weapon and gloves on?
If you have doubts, just imagine this: 1000 dex + 750% facebreakers + this jewel. Base 1400-2000 phys damage means at least 11900-17000 hit damage without any other bonuses, without STR and everything. And it still would hit alot faster than regular facebreaker attack.
Storm bind might be amazing if you can channel while moving
Infernal Legion Anger/Immolate skeletons is great.
Also, combine Hollow Palm with Rigwalds Curse for some bonkers scaling.
Doubtful b/c you're considered dual wielding... So i don't think you'll scale with unarmed dmg scaling, but who know.
@@Keexdt Rigwalds causes Claw modifiers to apply to Unarmed, so theoretically, you're still Unarmed while wearing it.
TheTolnoc I understand that but if you not considered unarmed does unarmed dmg scaling apply?
But I'm not playing a game to farm currency that's called a regular day job.
ggg hq "yo guys you know know our skill tree is fucking massive? how about we double that shit up" *people start cheering, dogs are barking, cars are crashing, the rapture begins*
Delirium is what I get every time I try to understand a new mechanic....
I think split personality will only be obtainable by corrupting prismatic jewels....
Interesting idea: is the Split Personality Jewel's distance judged by the shortest path, or how many allocated passives are on the path to it from your starting area?
The latter
@@jerrycheong6036 Man, this is going to be super interesting to build around. It'll be weird to see long, monopath trees trying to capitalize on them.
@@carlip Oh gods, i remember that boss! hard as hell(well, i was a kid but still) but fun!
i think you said alva when you meant Jun?
its gonna be terrifying with how expensive end gmae content gets. every new player and every good player will need a single map farmer character dedicated just ot speeding the acts and getting to AL8 imo. so u can GET loot to afford all the crazy stuff thatll awaken haha. i CANT WAIT !!!! ok rant over. AWSOME VIDEO :)
agreeeeeeeeeeeed! PLEASE dont make a headhunter maping only meta where we cant survive thrive and have fun without it :(((((((((
fyi metamorph was my second league and tihs is the mentality of a person who only made it to lv 90 and died like 768 times on that char. also only ever had like 25ex net funds hahahahaa
I was going to go SSF but after hearing about these Jewels it almost makes me feel like I can't go SSF if my build ends up requiring a notable from a specific jewel mod. Unless they are easy to roll?
In the video they apply a Chaos Orb and it changes notable so it seems feasible even if expensive
Looks like its back to ED /Cont :D
Any word on a release timeframe yet?
coming out march 13th depending on timezone and a week later for consoles iirc
Is your outro voice line from Meepo ??
Nah, it's actually Beedle from Wind Waker :)
@@nathanbrotherbob ohhh... It sounded so similar to meepo tho
Lightening trap should be good and easy way to play this league .. same as legion
I can't escape dota
this might be the only mirror that i get
srs burning legion + blessed rebirth???
predictions: Sirius is too hard atm so we are gonna buff summoners in delirium league, meanwhile, lets nerf berserkers some more
My biggest fear for this league is that the league start guides will be all over the place and bait me into playing something terrible XD
That and the PoB developer(s) commiting sudoku.
Trade leagues will thrive and SSF are definealtly going to be much, much more interesting.
On the part you are reffering to Enigma, I believe it might have something to do with Lunaris and Solaris instead to deal with the in game lore.
sry but it says banners you are caring it wount work(
how could you miss blade skills + animate weapon lol, if we asume baron zombies + str stacking gets nerfed AW could be the new summoner meta
I believe this to be true because of one word difference, and until that word is fixed / changed, I am going to holdout on a buff to facebreaker builds, empty offhand builds, and missing glove builds (which would technically mean bows can get dual wielding and block chance nodes).
can we talk about how GGG 1st time used ACTUAL GOOD builds for this trailer?
to showcase the fact that the league mechanic also makes old league mechanics harder? Coz boy imagine beyond+breach+delirium...
So , more content for top % of players that get to the endgame. For others, it's some mapping until red maps then gg.
Hopefully this one is really good like metamorph
metamorph was trash
metamorph was all over the place... for some reason the map metamorphs had insane one hit kill potential, but those in the lab were utterly weak. Loot was not too impressive either...
Maybe it was the map mods making them actually dangerous and in tha lab they did not have them, but that would be completely overdue for a rework anyway?
@@mbnhiphopmusik6429 yes, but was it fun.
"While you have no equipped gloves" :(
Why you sad? It is conditional. If you dont use main hand you can use gloves like Facebreakers. Just pick one: dont use gloves or main hand or off-hand.
@@ukaszgajda2138 cant have any of the three. Its and not or.
@@Xirpzy pls go learn more and look better its OR u can eqip shield and facebreak and 1000dex scale 1400-2000 phy flat its stupid cyclone facebreaker build
@@inqwe5076 so Bex is wrong?
Question was: Remove all or just one?
Answer from Bex: "Yes, you remove them all. Your hands should be empty and your palm hollow."
To me that sounds alot more like AND than OR.
@@inqwe5076 "... No equipped gloves, main hand, or off hand item". Could mean both but in this case it means you cant have any of the three items equipped for the jewel to function.
Just fyi I didnt need a confirmation from Bex to understand this but many others dont know english that well. I would change the sentence on the jewel to make it more clear.
I agree about the Headhunter. No league or core game mechanic should require any class to use the same unique to access the content.
What's the ability you're using at 14:11?
* The real problem with this league, is that POB won't have all those new nodes, at least not for a while... ;/ GGG always fucking us LUL
* And yeah, it will be impossible to follow builds using these jewels, just like the timeless jewels ;___;
* Oh, and of course, that mist will fuck us EVEN MORE LUL We keep complaining about lack of visual clarity and they keep ignoring us kkk
So adding new passives but dont give you more passives? It's a pretty strong drawback
How TF are we supposed to plan builds now? Timeless jewels were hard enough to work with.
Why the fuck would you be planning a build around unknown jewels? Just pick something you like and use new information about the jewels to supplement what you are playing. Also unlike legion jewels, youll be able to search mods, making it far easier to buy
Glad that animate weapon is coming back to the menu, but on the other side im woried about masive minions nerf...
League looks neat, however I do have some obvious worries:
With 280 new notables, it's almost guaranteed GGG fucked up in interactions between passives / items / skills - sort of like the time they didn't let nodes that increased Shield defenses not affect Spectral Shield Throw.
Hopefully GGG makes it through without nerfing Necromancers and I might eventually consider buying a supporter pack again since Incursion.
hmm, looks like you do a map then repeat it for the mechanic sounds repetitive but lets see
no its like breach, you just hit it at the beggining of the map and it lasts a minute or so. it modifies monsters already there and adds extra monsters on top, similar to map bosses like shaper influence does.
"afk farm blighted maps" your dota is showing again
StormBind with 8k mana hiero + indigon + potential good helm enchant = gg
Internet pedant moment: at 1:50 in this context, you meant "speculate" not "stipulate".
Ok.... molten strike again.....
ZikkyD
Maybe this new "Trickster God" is responsible for turning Innocence against Sin?
When I think about what turning day and night against each other could mean in the PoE lore, that's the first thing that jumps to mind.
It's the god that turned Solaris against Lunaris.
Sin mentions him, and the flavour text of Fractal Thoughts does as well.
Sin and Innocence were always rivals, pretty much since birth.
From a more or less casuel perspective (im bearly getting 36/40 if i try hard) i dont like the now Jewels either. The Game is just getting more complex with every season and i just cant keep up. :/
Excuuuuse me???
All that fog just give me chuckles when i remember how poorly optimized this game is to the point that removing most of the sounds on the config files will REDUCE (not remove) the huge amount of sttutering and fps drops on the end game content, more like a Tibia 2 Beta than an actual ARPG, man... what a mess!
Diablo 3 isnt perfect, but as its direct competitor, its WAY better in many ways, specially optimization wise.
Looks like the same shit all over again, kill some monsters, loot some items, fill your stashtabs, craft some items, get disapointed, end of league.
