Yooo I felt the same way in my 5th month and made a whole rant video about it😭😭😭 when they say it’s a journey they’re not playinggg cause your patience will be tested but the payout is sooo worth it. Loveee your locs🫶🏾 Can’t wait to see how they turn out😊
Try mixing oils. Essential oils often need to be diluted with a carrier oil. Try grapeseed oil. I’m heading into my 7th month. Blessings on your journey 🎉
Now I need to start my loc journey😭I’ve been watching videos for hours, but your intro “I was gonna dye it red and blow it out”, had me. My hairs mostly always dyed red and curly/straight, and I’ve been deciding if I want to start locs for a week. Thanks for the video 🇬🇧❤
Budding and bunching and shrinkage, Sophia Lusala. Hey. I'm watching you. I see you. That is half the battle right? LOL...... I like what I see. Very cool. Very cool. You did a good job with this one. Great video! I have just subw3scribed to your channel. So congrats, you just gained another one. I am an advocate on this platform for engaging with others and supporting one another. And returning love and reciprocating feedback. I think that kind of community on here is what we need. Hey, if there were a lot more people like me on here, you might have an extra 70 friends and fans to your channel, right now. Extra. That is the community I'm encouraging people to help me build. I truly am being sincere when I write that. I am a content creator, just like you. Let me get half the battle too. Let me know that you see me. Who knows you might even like one of the videos there.
Girl you don't have to accept bunching if you don't want to. Its a choice. Just get crochet needles and tighten your locs. Bunch of folks on youtube tightening with the needles, I learned how to do this on white straight hair and I locked straight weave hair. All looks good, try it.
I started my journey back in Oct 2023, but didn't like how it turned out after 4 weeks. I went to another Loctician and she combed it out and retwisted it. It's been 6 moths now, and I feel like I need to move to another Loctician to take me to my next steps. Is that wrong? I don't get that smooth clean edge look when she retwist and when I felt like I had an issue with a loc, she didn't see or know what I was talking about. Whether she's turning a blind eye to it, I don't like that. Don't get me wrong, I love how it's turning out, but had concerns and she ignored it.
You could always find another loctician or you can learn yourself ! I didn’t like how mine was being done or products they were using so I learned myself. RUclips is your best friend but also trust the process they won’t be perfect at first🫶🏽
I usually wash it myself in between retwist. But at this point since it started locking I think I can take on that task 😊. How do you control dandruff buildup. I don't have a lot, but I feel like imma rip out my hair trying to release it from under the loc. thank you for responding. Appreciate ur feedback.
Try using a dandruff shampoo like sulfur 8 if it gets bad, but also relieve your hair of some product. I switched to oil every couple days for my scalp and rose water daily, sooooo much better and no build up!
@@Fialululu I have been using rosewater and tea tree oil, but it's just certain areas very minimal I get dandruff and trying to get that out when it stuck between locked hair is not easy. There has to be a better way. thx for the feedback. Much appreciated!
enjoy the journey - you'll notice that your style is unique in many different ways. Coming up on two years now these thins have a mind of they own.
It's not ugly! I'm seriously considering it, but the commitment is real. Still, I know I'm gonna do it.
Yea,its such a beautiful process. You got this!.💖
❤❤❤❤Do it, I did it yesterday, mine at short 😂
YOU SHOULD !!!🫶🏽

Boosting this comment for those struggling with bunching as well !!!! Thank youuuuu
Hello how do you maintain your locs the way they are info please thanks.
Some type of moisture every day ( rose water, or mist down ), light oils on scalp every couple of days, wash regularly and wrap them up at night 🫶
