    My daughter got to come home for Christmas before deploying later this month. She surprised me while I was at the mall, of course my husband and younger daughter were in on it. Less than a minute after we finished, a girl that couldn't be more than 13, with tears in her eyes, came up to my daughter and thanked her for her service.

    Negligence is not doing one's duty. Sacrificing to do one's duty is something that people like him/her will not understand. It takes a strong person to live with the things that are demanded of us in the military. But it is moments like this that make those sacrifices worth enduring.

  • @Dancingswan54
    @Dancingswan54 11 лет назад

    What about all the fathers that are going off to war? Aren't they giving up their child/children? From what you're saying the vibe you're giving off is that there is no point for a male role model in a child's life. If the mother figure is so important that it is wrong for her to defend her country that must mean that you think a father figure is meaningless and any father could go anyway whenever her pleases and it wouldn't affect his child at all.

    I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I believe that men and women should have equal opportunity to fight for their country. Both can work together in any job and be an amazing force. I am currently in the process of joining the Israeli Defence Force and they have no qualms about me being a woman and being able to fight. They have been able to defend their land against several countries who are fighting against them. Can I ask if you've ever worked with women in the army?

    Hi, I hear what you're saying. But this women was captured and could have been killed. In my opinion she should never have been allowed to go in the first place. I hope there is never a need for drafting. Many soldiers return from overseas suffering post tramitic stress. It is a terrible thing and a person is never the same again. For a woman in that situation it would be most difficult to then have to cope with young children. I would love not for anyone to have to go to war.

  • @enfeildnagant1972
    @enfeildnagant1972 11 лет назад

    look combat is a serious job and allowing women in combat units has more to do with politicians trying to look modern and stylish than try ing to make a amazing force.women simply dont have the strength or endurance to be hauling around 100 lb of gear plus weapon and still be able to fight.hygiene is another issue,the female body simply was not designed for extended periods in the field ,also the phyclogical factor.the femal body does not process stress quite as well as the male body.

  • @enfeildnagant1972
    @enfeildnagant1972 11 лет назад

    ok first off what is your speciality or job going to be in the idf.to answe your quest. have i ever worked with women in the u.s. army. no i have not,i was airborne infantry and women are excluded or at least use to be from the infantry or any job that was in the combat arms,such as infantry,armour,artillery etc. i feel allowing women to be in any unit that activley engages or initiates an assualt on the enemy ,women should not be allowed.i feel women do a good job in the suppourt role ,thats it

  • @CaptainScarlette
    @CaptainScarlette 11 лет назад

    Dude, give it a rest. Women serve the country, they go on deployment. None can go infantry. Women have been serving this country for a long ass time, and regardless of their job it's still signing a contract being of literally owned by government. I really hope you don't breed, and stop trolling the internet ._. It's like that's all you're good for wasting life in front of a computer.
