Thanks for watching guys, i hope you like the new set up. Going to stick to this theme for Paladin and Shaman at the very least and see what sort of feedback i get. Thank you as always for all your support to the channel, its very much appreciated. Not far to go for the first give away now!!
I enjoyed the previous format. If i wanted the dumbed down version i’d watch hamsterwheel’s series for gearing. Please list the absolute best pre-bis items so We know what to strive for, along with some more easily accesible items (like you do). Also i liked How you dressed the character piece by piece instead of showing the end resultat first. Keep up the good work
Hello sir! I got a question for ya. Should I go Blacksmithing or Leatherworking for my profession? Or both and buy the mats for each? I don't know what's better. Getting the weapons from blacksmithing or getting drums from LW. Any help is appreciated keep up the content! (I play Ret pally)
Hey started playin ret on a private server. Since it is, paladins on ali also get SOB. My main question is ive been having a very hard time finding what is BIS for kara and up. Not the pre bis. Any chance you have more vids coming or know of any spread sheet that shows this?
I’m going to be doing a bis list for all classes for each tier, I was going to hold out on e first one being Tier 4 obviously until an announcement but I can start working on them a bit early, I’ll make sure ret is first!
Tbh early on there is just a massive lack of it and I tried to make everything in here balanced overall so only 1-2 reps exalted max (ideally 1) the shatar ring is ofc really good but before getting in Kara I’m not sure you would have time to get the perfect set up. This was originally called Pre Kara gearing but I switched the title up to pre raid bis. The whole point of it though is getting in Kara super fast and with lots of gear options, hope that makes sense
How does some Classic 40 man raid gear compare to these? Seems like Gauntlets of Annihilation, Legplates of Carnage, Chromatic Boots, and even some T2.5 compares to these.
If blizzard follow the patches like it did with vanilla "Googles and Ragesteel shouders" will not be able to be crafted since it's only added later on. And in fact besides Eng Googles, the go for to Head piece it's prob "Overlord's Helmet of Second Sight" From the Teron Gorefiend quest chain in Shadowmoon Valley. It's 3 sockets, crit, hit and STR. I know Lionheart Looks Cool sounds better cuz of the 100str proc but ins't really close to Stormherald since SoB is based in weapon dmg (All melee attacks deal additional Holy damage equal to 35% of normal weapon damage) and SoC too (Gives the Paladin a chance to deal additional Holy damage equal to 70% of normal weapon damage). Lion 341 - 513 // Storm 386 - 579 remember Lionheart have a internal CD and plus u can pvp with stormherald aswell. Overall awesome Guide i never had seen any of your vids keep up this good content one more sub.
Enjoying these videos, but the Blackened Chestplate and Clefthoof Hide Leggings seems to be from the same quest, so you can't get both rewards. Also, I imagine most paladins will choose the Libram of Righteous Power over Band of Anguish from the rewards of that quest :)
Farm all reps to honored get the PvP gear they sell. Then do ramparts get the cloak out of chest. Rest will be filled in by quests drops. That's it pvp gearing is all about farming all the normal dungeons to buy the pvp gear of rep vendors. After that it is saving your honor and tokens to buy the pieces from PvP vendors.
The blacksmithing sword/mace is bis. Its pretty close between them but if you want to pvp as well then I'd suggest the mace. Its 3.8 speed means all the abilities that go off weapon damage will be more powerful.

Thanks for the feedback mate it’s really appreciated. I’ll make sure to make some adjustments for the shaman video tomorrow!
@@Scottejaye Good thing to keep in mind is that you can't please everyone.
@@dragdritt True that my friend!
Easy way to do the trampoline quest. Use the trampoline once to get slow fall buff, mount up and jump off hill near nest. you hit it 9 out of 10 times
Plan on rerolling draenei ret pally for tbc, so this video really helps, thanks!
Nice vid been waiting for this one, gonna change my main to belf ret once tbc rolls around and its actually more viable.
If they let us start @58 i might reroll ret aswell. Otherwise i will stick to my current char.

As ret you ideally want both the weapon and the drums tbh, going to cost you a pretty penny obviously but definitely worth it!
@@Scottejaye and if I had to choose one over the other what would you recommend?
@@caliber5383 The weapon is just too good too pass so BS
Awesome video! Very interesting - thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it mate, thank you!

Hi mate, thx a lot for guide, but why u dont use more expertise items? Like ring with shatar?

Alot of the nax pieces can compare and last you to kara but i would recommend joining the paladin discord server for more info
BRO THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE!

You should make a pvp pre bis video as well :D

Small tip when editing. Don't put a character in mid of screen flapping around like mad, it's quite distracting. xD
Think you underrate the value of expertise.
There is barely any expertise items pre raid mate, off the top of my head there is an exalted ring and quest legs that are viable
@@Scottejaye ur not wrong. Expertise is very limited just don’t remember you mentioning the value of it. Thanks for the content! Glhf
@@connorsmith2059 green gloves from quest give you expertise to expertise is huge in ret game rn

No oathkeeper on weapons? Saaad!
Haha, nothing wrong with oath keeper #tier6bis
So wrong on the weapons
No ret paladin would use a 3.3 speed weapon
