The drumbeat heard at 1:00 is slowed version of the "Morning Mr. Magpie" drums. The ending guitar effects from "Separator" can be heard around 0:06 and 1:32. The piano fading in around 1:30 is manipulating the piano chords from "Codex" to play the chords for the "Lotus Flower" chorus. Thom's echoed voice around 0:40 and heard throughout the track mimics the echoed guitar ending to "Little By Little".
This is my favourite of the TKOL RMXs. The haunting atmosphere, the chill vibe, the catchy beat, and like chimpzoid26 the creepy high pitched "don't hurt me"- this was definitely the best one in an album filled with perfect remixes.
"The one-eyed view of our universe says you must not look far afield for problems. Such problems may never arrive. Instead, tend to the wolf within your fences. The packs ranging outside may not even exist."
I'm not sure. I would say this is the best remix due to all of its intricacies and the piano, but I think my favorite is the Nathan Fake remix of Good Morning Mr. Magpie. I always choose my favorite based on the emotion rather than the content, and that one seems to have the most unique emotion. Strange that what one considers the best isn't always their favorite. I must say this is a very close second, however.
I really like when one can pull samples from tracks so different from one another and make something so beautiful. Segway into this from Pyramid song before I depart this world please.
Wow, really like this one. The rest of the remixes kind of suck though, imo. Well, they don't suck, it's not like I find them offensive to the ear. None really stand out though, tbh. They're just a bunch of soundscapes that I just can't find myself getting particularly into. With this, on the other hand... The piano hook actually has something to it. Despite this though, I still feel like every single one of these remixes has totally lacked energy. It's like TKOL on dihydrocodeine.
Is there a non remix studio track somwhere of this? I go crazy when a band has a remix but I cant find an original anywhere. I mean...it's remixed from something or it wouldn't be a remix at all. 🤔
noone else thinks this video is fucked up. so many sock puppets here. paid to deceive kindness not deception will rule someday, know what u r and what u do conscience seems to have deserted most even the shapers. it will change remember what you've done
+youtoob0217 you think getting led to burn is ok. disparage me all you want. it changes nothing and those with conscience will hear me. I wish you well despite you insults.
+Ellenn Oits you dont know what i think. i am insulting your choice of audience. you act as if you are enlightening us. go enlighten a sheep. treating an audience of Radiohead fans as such is insulting. we dont need YOUR help in understanding anything. who the fuck are you to question that?
+youtoob0217 and you are? I asked a question. I fight the silence I applaud ur fire, I think it's misplaced. you question me, but I'm not allowed to question hipocracy abounds
+youtoob0217 I asked a question. first and foremost. the bowler hat man being led to the wicker man burning by a seeming confidant. not sure what that has to so with beeber, although I know there is truth in music , many sing of how they have been burned

Thank you. It was going to be my next question. The piano segments are brilliant.
I am addicted to that drumbeat.
I kept getting it stuck in my head thinking "fuck, did I come up with this?" finally revisited this and was like OH SHIT I FOUND IT
Great concept by Altrice. Very cool.
Definitely my favorite remix on the album, amazing, wow
This one is my favourite of all in this album.
same
I want the CD!!! I can't wait to listen to these awesome rmx's in the morning while on the bus or something ;)
Reminds me of Massive Attack / Boards of Canada. Very downtempo.
This is good enough to be considered the ninth song on the album.
Sounds like something DJ Shadow would make.
Beautiful
best remix out of all of them. HI THOM.
how is this the only dj who used multiple tracks?
I wish remixes used a combination of different songs from the same album more often.
david august is also one of them.
dis track is dope
I agree. TKOL is refined as is by it self any other attempt to electrify it seems pretty, but futile
I heard:
Codex
Give up the Ghost
Feral
Morning mr magpie

Okay, I won't hurt you.
dope.
this is really a remix of "Give Up The Ghost" track ...TKOL just abriviation for The King Of Limbs which is not the song but the album title
wow, I just heard every song on TKOL...you can too, if you listen close enough.
Yay Music!
I know it's "dont hurt me" but I hear only "Oasis"
What makes you think Radiohead has purpose? Is Thom leading us on some mystical journey to the grave?
Fuck, this is amazing - Almost better than the album itself, almost.
fucking awesome, i mean really, a killer fucking tune
Pretty Legit
Pretty sure Bloom is in there too.
@DunlWatches Are we saying hi to Thom now?
HI THOM!!!
1:32 - What is the piano sample which starts around this time?

steve Horspool TKOL stands for The King Of Limbs, they remixed every song from the album
Ya, though to revise my original comment, the Blawan remix of Bloom also has value.
THOM! HI!
I hear Feral's drums.
Camberwickerman Green anyone?
@onebigfanofradiohead Opiod painkiller
