This & Empire both one of my favorite total war games, with RTW, MTW2 and Shogun total war 2 being up there, they should make new total war game set in 1700-1850
@@ciscobriones5904 Personally the main difference between Napoleon and Empire is the era and the feel. It might just be because I'm not as intimately familiar with the history of 1700-1790 as I am 1798-1815, but in Empire it just feels you can do more instead of follow along with the script of the Napoleonic Wars. The mechanic that disappointed me the most was the diplomacy, which is extremely basic compared to Napoleon or even Medieval II, kinda like they saved it for the end and had to rush to get something together to ship the game. So I'd wait until Empire is free or really cheap because Napoleon is a better iteration of essentially the same thing, just the aesthetic of Empire is better and is what keeps me playing it religiously.
If we are lucky, and the rumors are true, we can expect a Victorian era total war within the next two years. I just hope they won't get greedy and try making it vanilla and all so they can sell it in China... There is a HUGE crackdown on video games there for the last year or so (calling it "mental opium"), so this might give it a chance, I hope
Theu should make combination of those two. Like French from king time to Revolution of france till the new king. And AI or player can have American Revolution in game. Idk if i remember correctly but American Revolution was separate campaign im game. But they should do it in a way like AI starts itself an american revolution and persay you play with Brits, you have a revolution in over seas you can call allies for help. So yoi actually can dame the revolution or you fail miserably like brits did in real life.
My laptop is good but my videocard sucks it cant really run tw 3k very well with max unit sizes but in this game I can run in utra with the 2x unit size mod.
A shame this game was forgotten, it was a massive Improvment on Empire
