I was talking to a woman at costco recently who was buying paper towels and toilet paper. She said, everything is so expensive today, I just don't know how young people do it. Turns out she was visiting her married adult son and was making the purchases for him. He was in his 40s. I was surprised. Two middle aged adults still relying on mommy for basic needs?!
Our 35-year old and her 2 kids are suckling at their father's teat just 5 years before he's trying to retire. That's why we plan on not just selling our house, but moving out of state to a home too small for anybody else to move into.
And those adult kids will probably vote progressive.
