I have been using PXN V10 for over a month now, that thing you are facing with shifter, I am also facing and it looks like it is due to the cloth which hides the internals. But overall feeling of the shifter is amazing. I don't like the shape of the wheel as I would prefer the full circle shape (personal preference) and it is also on smaller side. I also love the customizability and compatibility of PXN V10. It supports PC, Xbox 1, Xbox Series X and PS4 (for PS5, you need to get a N5 dongle which costs 25$). The weakest aspect to me is the foot pedals as it feels very light, although you can adjust it but it still feels light (talking about the gas pedals, other are fine). There are rare hiccups which you might face but they are easy to fix, for example rarely the wheel doesn't align perfectly but it is easy to fix and also sometimes gearbox disconnects. Overall a great complete bundle and you cannot go wrong with it.
I just got this 3 days ago as a first ffb wheel, coming from controller mainly (only had the ferrari wheel for xbox which was bungie cord inside) My first thought was "oh there is no ffb at all" until I found the update and now i've ate my words. Now I only mess around in F1, and ATS, and it has been actually pretty nice. It took me a bit to find all of the adjustments, and i'm still figuring some out (as in I didn't know that I could adjust the base up until watching this video) For someone that isn't a hardcore sim racer, then this would be worth it imo. Now if you are wanting to take all sim racing super serious or can just afford to throw money for a name brand wheel, then do that. But a budget wheel, for casual gamers, it's nice
I purchased this thing as soon as it came out. At that time, it cost about $200. I didn't expect it to rise to $300 now. The biggest drawback is that many games are not supported on the software side.
I just got mine. Other than sometimes struggling getting my pedals to register on my xbox series s it actually feels really good. Better than my old tmx
I had this wheel for a year before i upgraded to a moza r5. I have some thoughts: In asia where im from, it only costs around 180-210 euros which is a steal considering the shifter The force feedback is sufficient as casual gamer but muddy if youre planning on taking sim racing seriously The pedals are good, but the brake spring is too light for serious sim racing Your stick shift 5th gear problem is unique to you. I like it better than the logitech because it has 2 switch buttons you can use The wheel is too small. Pxn made a new wheel with a bigger diameter in the same range as the v10. Its called the v99, however, the pedals are plastic. Overall, its a sufficient starter wheel. if you live east of the world and on a budget, its a steal for having 3 pedals and shifter. If you live in the west, just get a logitech g29 instead.
@@n25.ena-emon i've seen videos about it and I could compare it to my experience with the v10. Here is what i found out: The pedals look cheaper because theyre plastic compared to the v10 which has metal and adjustable springs - though it doesnt help that much as the stiffest spring from the v10 is still soft. However, they use the same hall effect magnetic sensor in their pedals, so youre more or less going to get the same performance from both pedals anyway The wheel itself is bigger which is good if youre into drifting, or just overall sim driving. The h-pattern shifter is the same as the one that comes with the v10, which is great. The mounting bracket is the same too, which is disappointing, because you need a hex wrench to mount it, unlike the g29 where you can just twist the clamps to tighten it. Overall if you live east of the world and on a strict budget, go for it. If you have a bit more cash, just get the v10. If you live in the west, better just look for a used g29
This steering wheel is a one to one copy of the mad catz pro racing force feedback wheel. Mad Catz is basically bancrupt which probably allowed them to copy it. But the Mad Catz wheel uses an outdated gear driven motor. Any belt driven wheel has a more precise force feedback output except maybe the lowest Thrustmaster option.
@@dannyfoley18It seems you don't know how a direct drive wheel works. Your steering wheel is directly attached to the motor. Tbh in my country the Pxn v10 is cheaper and better than the Logitech g29
In my country Egypt
The Logitech costs 60K EGP Thats like 1k dollars (yes, my country is overpriced), since a single dollar in our country costs 60 Egyptian pounds so time that by 1K it’s 60k but the Pxn v10 costs 8k-18K so it’s way cheaper than the Logitech g29
Now the better thing about the Pxn v10
1st thing: Is that it’s a full bundle pedals, shifter and wheel the Logitech comes with pedals and pedals, u have to purchase the shifter which is 3K pounds so to buy the whole Logitech bundle it would cost 63k
2nd thing: the shifter: the shifter of the v10 is a H pattern while the Logitech is covered, personally I love the H pattern
3rd thing
You can remove the wheel from the wheel base in the Pxn v10 but not in Logitech
4th thing, the pedals of the v10 have an adjustable string to make it feel realistic
5th thing, pxn has an app, so if someone likes to do the realistic trick of the pedals which is turning it upside down you can just remove the metal thing of the pedal and then map the clutch to accelerate
And map accelerate to clutch just by doing it on the app, so Pxn v10 is WAY BETTER than the Logitech g29
Logitech g29 is not a bad wheel but pxn v10 offers more for less money so the choice is obvious
