If you’re not in love with the Green Day graphics, the MXR FOD is the same pedal. In fact, it’s named after the Green Day song. And it’s less expensive.
I got one when they first came out several years back - it’s awesome. Takes single coils well like a good Marshall should, and rips with p90s and a Duncan JB as Billie would require. Excellent Marshall in a box.
Using an Epiphone Old Glory - nice! I bought one last year (got it for a good price preowned from PMT's website, funnily enough! Wanted a black one more than the Gold), and I adore it. Really turned me on to the joys of P-90s. Pedal sounds tremendous, as someone's already said in the comments, it's not just for Green Day sounds, sounds like a good option for anyone wanting a Marshall drive sound in a pedal.
@@peterschaefer1665 Yes. If you turn the Blend knob all the way to the left, you only hear the left amp (and can adjust the internal Gain and Output controls), and if you turn the Blend all the way to the right, you hear only the right (higher gain) amp whose Gain and Output are controlled by the two external knobs.
Very kickin pedal. I could hear a bit of georgia sattelites there. Some joe perry and slash as well. Now I must go and listen to green days version of a[pple bottom jeans on you tube.
Honestly, I think this is something I need to grab, solely because I wanted the old one and it sold out pretty quick and now goes for way too much money.
@ the “Boogie” sound comes from the Lead Modded Marshall. It gives it a tone of gain and with the scooped option can almost sound like a Rectifierish amp.
@@LuisJimenez-pb3ge I was replying to the original comment. I saw the pre release videos and they spoke of two Marshalls. As did the release videos with Billie. I’m referring to referencing a Boogie as where I believe OP is mistaken

THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you!
Yup that’s what I use with my SLO100
I ordered the dookie about 3 hours ago, was about to be p.o. i didnt see this sooner, but one i ordered was used and cheaper . 😮
Thats cool but getting this instead. because of the doggy on the pedal 😂
I think it sounds great. Not just for Green Day tones. Very useful for light breakup to heavy gain tones.

Man I wish I could play guitar like Dagan 🤘🏻
A new level of confidence and power.
Sounds freaking awesome!
I’m glad you’re not afraid to play some Green Day riffs to actually explain how the pedal sounds.
There are internal controls that adjust the "crunch" distortion and volume.
I have the version 1. It lives on my board and I’d never get rid of it.
Sounds great
Where’s my Fooking christmas video dagan!!!!!! I rely on them every year!!!🎸🎸🎸🎁🎁
Excellent choice of guitar to demo with!

Dang I need this!!!
great pedal. I have the V1, and still use it sparingly ... to this day.
Ordered one from Sweetwater. I have a deluxe that will love it or use it to nasty up my twin. You sold me with this demo, thanks.
they should make it a stereo pedal with both amps separated L/R.
Now that'd be cool!
The left side gain and level can be adjusted by two tiny controls on the circuit board inside the pedal.
Can you audition them separately for adjustment?
Only one output? Just buy two od pedals

i like it

Bit of James Gang Funk #49 in there as well I think.
Why does this pedal then not have to sets of controls for the two amps?
What guitar is he playing in this? it a JR?
Epiphone Jared James Nichols signature Les Paul🤙🏾

ANOTHER???
MXR, we NEEEED an American Idiot drive!
I think he used the same 2 amps for American idiot anyway
@cjstroked Yep, you're exactly right. (2 modded Plexis that is)
The only thing dookie about that pedal is the price
Wasn’t this supposed to mimic a Boogie and a Marshall? That was the old marketing information.
It’s always been two Marshall’s, one with the Crunch Mod and one with the Lead Mod.
Blink 182 used a MB Rect and a JCM800
@ thanks. I’ve watched several demos in the past that always referred to the two amps as a Marshall and a Boogie. The two Marshall’s makes more sense.

@@stug5041 how so? I know and have seen Billie’s rig. It’s two Modded Marshalls.

Why don't you do a randy rhoads gear run down your an amazing guitar player
I’m the second comment!
Anything associated with Green Day is lost on me now.
Can you play Islam prayer songs on it 5 times per day?
Almost like the mxr evh distortion pedal or the tom morello mxr power 50 that jcm800 plexi-esque flavor
