I believe I'm using the Zoom U-22 with a USB-B to USB-C adapter. You can get them for $50. You could also get a Pyle Microphone XLR-to-USB Signal Adapter for around $30. Main thing is to get the right USB to your phone's connection cable. Both have analog gain control and you can also listen to audio from your phone using them too.
