Richard was the greatest font man of the 80s. An enormous talent and one of the best I ever worked with. Wrong label, wrong management. The should have been massive. But you need four tires on the car: Artist, Label, Management, Luck. They had only one or they would have ruled the universe.
@@dragonlea13979 yes as soon as I heard them, I researched the band and loved them. First came into contact with them from the Point Break movie soundtrack. Paris Calling, is just epic!!
This was one of my favorite bands of the '80s. Totally underrated never quite made it big but love them nonetheless. I had their shark single that was shaped like a shark fin and I lost it! Had the song automatic girls and little sister. One of my biggest losses, musically. So glad to be able to find this footage and the S'cool bus album.
God,I listened to Pirate Radio every Sat. night......and I THINK that was Tawn Mastrey doing the intro, another legendary DJ.....I was a touch over 20,and already taking care of a 15-month-old.............Memories,when I can find `em.........
91 ‘ was the beginning to end of awesome rock bands with blazing guitarists as I watch old footage such as this my heart starts to break knowing those good ol ‘ days will never be again I was 15 or 16 at the time this show was recorded as a young teenager I watched my favorite bands die a sad and cruel death for a musical trend and I never will forget that man yeah some of those bands grunge era was bada$s but that music wasn’t what changed my life and inspire me to start playing guitar and all of a sudden POOF !!! It was gone so so sad I’m almost 46 , my hair is long w/ no grey lol , I dig a fat bottom chic so I married one , and we both enjoyed the gift of hair metal together !!! I’m still that 15 ,16 year old kid but with less zits lol
Yeah this was the music of a generation, then all the guitar gods got replaced by a bunch of minor talent smack heads ,grunge became Kool and so did being a junkie?? Or the junkie looks did anyway, and as I grew up in the time I did I wanted my Rock N Roll Stars to look the part and song about good times and other issues ,grunge was depressing wooo is me music ,we listened to music as an escape from our otherwise difficult teenage years not someone singing about everything being shit as I already knew that this i wanted hear differently , Headbangers rules ,still got my long hair am pretty much that same 15 Old boy still dress the same like it's 1991 and congrats on marrying the right women
broke my hard after "bad for each other" when the camera person panned around and there was almost nobody there. for such an amazing band, in 1991, this is what their name drew. sucks. they are awesome.
One of mine and (Bill Gazzarris), favorite bands when they were playing the Suset Strip!!! Shake for Me, written about (pink corvette) Angelyne, billboard celebrity. Richards voice had that gritty tone that just worked! 👍🔥🤘🏼
This is great rarely do we see any old footage of Shark Island much less a full show, but man.. I bet the dude recording later on regretting not filming Michael shred the solo's on both his songs.
I actually went to elementary school in 1991 at that time this video is filmed here very awesome live concerts very kool I’m a huge shark island fan very awesome songs and track they rock my world they even kicked ass on their songs I enjoyed that a lot great concerts video this one is the best thanks bro for letting me watch this I loved it love you 😍
Really that’s awesome shark island biggest songs were bad for each other and others it’s awesome I want to sing bad for each other a shark island cover ballad so bad chris that song does fits my voice really well I’ll definitely request it on chad c channel tonight it’s gonna be awesome love you Chris 😘
@@dragonlea13979 Is that Bloodline 2.020? I already have the one, but I would like Spencer to play with the current members (I like twin guitar harmonies).
@@kakodama2772 no, not Bloodline, I have that too. Follow them on social media for updates about new music they are working on, and when they are playing. I wish Spencer would come back too!! I loved that gentle giant. Whenever I would see him, he would pick me up and swing me around and around. Always a sweetheart!! I LOVE dual guitars too! Google them for their site, and they have a FB page with a new interview of Richard yesterday.

Is that date right? Law of the order came out in 89. He looks about 15 in this video
it’s right he cut his hair i think 90-91

OLDSKULL ANARCHY
I don't think Richatd wanted to be the typical Rock Star.... he was already dressing like a Valley Boy in 91.
....then came grunge
Bonehead forgets to film Schenker during the solo. Duh
Is that really Michael Schenker with them on stage? Looks like him, sounds like him... Incredible 🤘
Great band so criminally underated
