Thank you for this great video which I thoroughly enjoyed. The train between Kyle of Lochalsh and Dingwall was surprisingly quiet, but loadings seemed to pick up on the journey into Inverness. The run from Inverness to Aberdeen appeared to be well used, and I was hoping you might have had one of the InterCity7 HSTs ! Hope you will do another trip, and check out one of the Scotrail HSTs. Many thanks.
Thanks for watching - very much appreciated. Yeah i was hoping to get an HST but had to travel on that service to catch my connecting train from Aberdeen home - maybe next time.
Did the ferry myself in 2018. A great video. Shame the windows were filthy that is so annoying. The 158s are a decent unit seen all over the country from Penzance to Wick. Worked them a good few times normally coupled to 159.
You've been to aberdeen more times than me and I am 35 miles away LOL. Inverurie is my favourite town. Huntly not Huntley as it is a place I go to frequently.
Hi mate, thanks for watching, ironically there was a sticker at the end of the coach saying 'the coach likes to look it's best so take your rubbish' Obviously doesn't apply to the outside or ScotRail.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Living in Inverness myself, sometimes for a day out, we will take the train to Kyle, have a walk around, get something to eat and much needed coffee then train back to Inverness - yes you missed a place to get something to eat or grab a coffee in Kyle, it's called Hector's Bothy and was located opposite the public toilets in the car park between the bus stop and the railway station. There is also a small busy Coop with a Costa Coffee machine on the hill above the bus stop.
Hi mate, thanks for watching, very much appreciated - I wish it was, my full time job certainly does not offer that type of scenery, more of an office car park
Last time I was in Kyle it was a Sunday and wet, everywhere closed apart from one cafe, they did a wonderful job, an excursion train with 200 hungry people.
Thanks for that, looks like I'll miss out on the Inverness to Aberdeen trip, not much to see and definitely don't want to listen to that kind of talk. Maybe music if you're not going to talk on the videos would be preferred?

hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. Yeah the windows were awful, canny bad as the views out of them is what makes the trip..

Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. I did find the Coop but next time I am in Kyle ii shall look out for Hector's Bothy
Just imagine this being your life. Crossing islands on boats with that scenery. Just out of this world.
Your picture quality is fantastic I feel like I've got new eyes lol

Was that Hector's Bothy in Kyle of Lochalsh?
Thank you, Richie.
This is the sort of journey that interests me, and I like the way that you depict it.

Stunning scenery I must say. Very beautiful 😍
Indeed
Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated.
That was a great journey, shame about the windows in part two, Scot Rail really should sell themselves better than they do.
Hi Alistair, thanks very much for watching, appreciated. The windows were probably the worst I've come across..
Well done a fabulous video sorry you had to put up with the person opposite you. Take care Paul in Kent
