It is amazing! Such a shame they only take cash. It is so surprising when that happens as we are close to being a cashless society. I loved seeing the church with the old gravestone and the Scottish Royal sword and crown replicas! What history! Thank you!
I really enjoy your channel. You even inspired us to make our 1st trip to Scotland this summer and I kept an eye out for Daisy but never found you 😊 I'm sad you don't ship your puffin picture set to the USA
I like the sheds! And the cottages so nicely restored. Must be prosperous in that area by the looks of the cars in the area. I would loved to see what was in the shed that wasn't restored. antiques?
You guys walked past where my grandad stayed, 5, Middle Row. I'm not sure I've ever heard Fittie being referred to as a " slum ", certainly wasn't when my folks stayed there.
A lot of these wee places really suffered when the fishing fleets and shipbuilding died. Fittie maybe avoided that slump :) Been interesting reading more of the history, I like the whole thought behind wee places like this.
Interesting fishing village back in the day. I would also say, yes, correct, a harbor pilot and the harbor vessel. Very proper terminology though. Does not look like a tug boat, as the tug has rope wrappings around the bow and open stern area for ropes and stuff. Fairly long 'mother ship' so knowledge of the harbor would be essential. Good choice of words, "developing, evolving". Throw in "adapting". DeNiro's off lead doggie interactions motivated me to get Dodger to a dog park and run around with other doggies. Bramall Hall, part three! Nice video!
Hahaha, did none notice part three was actually supposed to be part 1 and part 1 was supposed to be part 2 :) I made a boo-boo in my haste to get the episodes scheduled for when we were away on our latest adventure.
Is Footde easy walking distance from the train station? We will have a couple hours between train and Northlink ferry and are thinking of something to put in time besides wandering aimlessly at the mall.
@ it’s attached to the large shopping centre across from the port. So, maybe we’ll cross the street, drop our luggage with Northlink and take a walk. :)
Oh no! I've been crediting "cobra chickens" to you Iain! It's been my favorite phrase all summer. If the originator of the term sees this, please let me know, and I'll give you credit for the brilliance instead 😂🩷🤣
Appreciate that you always mention war memorials, and remind us of those who have given their lives.
It’s important these people are remembered.

The folks running that event will be volunteers, so will not have a cashless system.
They had one of those machines that connect to a phone, thankfully. Must remember to carry a few pounds
Another awesome vlog 👍🏼. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Love seeing DeNiro frolic around 😊
He’s a master of the frolicking.

We can! Postage prices are the issue so we like to make sure we get the cheapest possible international service.
@scotlandonashoestring how can I get in touch with you then please? When I put it in my cart, it said no delivery to the USA.
If you email us with your postal address and the picture you want we can get some proper price options for you. Address is dizzydanbex@gmail.com.
What a cute wee place, love all the sheds! Great to see you're selling your wares Bex 😀
Thanks.
Very lovely episode! Thank you all! 😊🎉❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Next step, Crufts!
The church looked really interesting. Glad the community has a Café but, yes, it feels awkward when there's no prices!
N&Nx
Hahaha. Only if they have disobedience and lack of agility.
In the USA, pilot boats are called Tug Boats

That's a good one, I've got a huge giggle going on after reading that. You'll make a good math teacher.
I’ve made some wind chimes 😁 have you been to little Morton hall 😁 very old crooked house 😁
No, but we’ll add it to the list.
Our daughter feels the same way as Willie does about L L L 😂😂😂
Pfft, some people have no soul 😜

I’m not entirely sure where the train station is, but Fittie isn’t far from the ferry port. If you can squeeze it in it’s an interesting place.

I’m happy to take undeserved credit!! :)
