John, You must be an absolute joy to hang around with. Your creativity and childlike enthusiasm is so inspirational! 😊. Love your quirky sense of humor too!!
Freezy your fam is awesome i love you all, but you are such a lovely soul that i smile when i hear your voice. Currently working on making the money to take your master class by selling my art. It may take a year but i will get there eventually
I Love! love love his art! What a beautiful mind so creative and genius! I never seen anywhere anything like his art for real a true genius! Thanks for sharing your way of doing things in such a gently way! Such a sweet heart too. God bless
I am so glad you add the divine inspiration because it works. So many artist do not share out of fear but you are so generous. I just love ya'll and your joy is infectious! Thank you. I will join your school when I can.
John, i just watched your video and felt joy. Specially, when you mention Escher, he is one of my very favorite artists and I have tried to imitate his art. I loved the face that you used the Japanes brush and brush strokes and ink. Thank you.
Super amazing, I always wanted to share this idea with artists who could run with this concept. Imagine now what can be done . Show the world what you can do !!❤
What a wonderful journey you've had, and how great it is that you and your family are such an inspiration and catalist for artists who are supposed to have a career as an artist. It is so clear that your education comes from real experience in the art world. What a good and uplifting message you've given. And that demonstration was such an amazing work. Thank you.
😂 Your brain speaks my language. Enjoyed hearing your commentary. Loved it. Also, I'm from Georgia, too...and I'm always worried about talking on video/reels and getting comfortable with being recorded because my ADHDness, not to mention my super southern voice, but you sound relaxed and it's so fun listening to you. I need to try to have fun with it and give it a go. You guys are all inspiring! 👏🏻❤🎉
So many times I feel like my hand is being guided by some unseen force. Any type of religious talk always sounds so wacky to me UNLESS it's spoken through the lens of an artist. It's the only religious experience I can say I relate to. Great stuff in this video, great work and advice!!
Bob Ross is one of my all time favorite guys , he had been there for me when I was little. I wanted to be like him but to create different imagery. Big influence for sure.
Love what you guys are doing theres so many talented people out there that just dont know the steps to take. Here you guys are an i know i could go far in the arts but i procrastinate .
This is so inspiring! I am 60 years old and all I ever wanted to do is to be creative but it never happened..yet.. Maybe it's time right now! You have such a beautiful family!
John, you are so down to earth, I'd love to spend a day or 2 with you in a studio. Since that''s not likely to ever happen I'm on the wait list. I hope you participate in the gallery's 1st Friday events as I hope to attend one soon. No, I'm not a stalker, just another artist.
I really was inspired in a beautiful positive way, so much joy watching how you went about explaining how you go about getting your paintings so interesting, thanks a million
Love the story and love you all. Have been binge watching you all. More of John too! Very calming! Keep up the good work guys. I admire you all. May God continue to Bless you all.
Thank you so much John , in this video you mix in your story as an artist with your drawing in such a inspiring way!! I've stoped painting for almost 15 years now and life is telling to Get back into it now & Milan institute is one of my TOP inspiration now to do so! katefcharistó very much!! ☺
Hey Freezy! I really enjoyed this. I've watched so many of your videos, and you always make me laugh. I'd like to know more about your faith some time. Very interesting how this all came together. I'm familiar with God's ways and how He orchestrates things, and I have caught glimpses here and there in your videos that He is a big part of your lives.
That’s a really good question, I would start with creating a schedule and sticking to it. This is what many people have told me to do and it really works. Another thing, is, I do not watch television. It’s still fine to watch videos, and things that you choose but not programmed television, which is designed to hold us back in my opinion I know this may be a controversial topic, but as for creativity, you will really grow staying away from those types of programming. Reading really poetic. Fascinating books is also very good for you, eating, very healthy and staying on a good track with sleeping and exercising. Will give you the strength to spend many hours in your artwork. Let me know how this goes if you try this out I know you can do it, when you think about the creation of art, you must be able to get yourself very free and try things out without worrying about the consequences such as having 100 squares or surfaces to scribble and paint on in a sort of quick way which will allow you to come up with things and create a sort of muscle memory in a way. It’s one of my favorite things to do 100 painting challenge.
When you start adding the religious comments "the Lord sent it to me..." etc is so off-putting and undermines your other messages when you get all crazy religious person on us
I'm glad he is who he is and talks like he does. So it effects others the opposite . Maybe he is this way for us that it inspires. I guess its true, you can't make everyone happy or be everyone's cup of tea.
I disagree. No one should tell an artist to change their “art voice” to please everyone. For him, it is his faith in the Lord which drives his art voice. If you don’t share the same faith and you find it offensive, you are freely welcome to leave. Let others talk about their faith. Why should everyone compromise their faith just to please you.
@v_elisha they obviously can, and DO, talk about whatever they want. Comments here on youtube are also to give feedback and what one person likes, another may not like, but I am watching all of their videos and giving my opinion, just like you are giving yours. The topic of their videos is generally about teaching/learning painting, so it's not unusual to comment on a part that veers off on another tangent. They appear to want to sell/market their school as much as possible on here, and marketing wise, just like they avoid politics, they could avoid religion, as they are both similarly polarizing.

Inspired by your words but am so in my head, how would I undo years of programming to let myself be free again?

Enjoying this!
But I find the background music very distracting. It pulls me away from focusing on the learning.
Thank you! inspiring indeed!
Why does this make me think of Tiger King and Joe Exotic? 😂 Great Job, John + Family. Teamwork makes the dream work!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No captions and I can't hear it.
The audio is working on our end, please make sure to unmute the video. We're working on adding captions, sorry about that!
The commercial before this video is so loud I need to turn it down. And I can't hear him unless I put my phone on my ear and then I can't watch it.😢
@@marzlene3 check your audio settings. The video sounds perfect on my end
I’m so sorry we didn’t put captions in. I believe we’re working on that in order to provide this in future videos.
I find this background music very distracting when I’m trying to learn.
That said, I love listening to you and watching you create!

Art is a reflection of the artist. Of everything is God's cration I Christian beliefs then how can a religious artist ignore God?❤
